Abstract
A highly effective and selective FeBr3-promoted deuterium bromination/cyclization of 1,n-enynes is reported. On the one hand, the Lewis acid FeBr3 as a catalyst promotes cyclization of 1,n-enynes to afford deuterium heterocyclic frameworks with high efficiency. On the other hand, FeBr3 serves as the bromine source (with D2O as the deuterium source) to promote the formation of the desired deuterated pyrrole derivatives containing alkenyl bromide groups. This protocol provides an effective pathway to afford deuterated alkenyl brominative compounds as (Z)-isomers with high yields and selectivity, offering a new method for introducing 2H into organic compounds.

Abstract
A highly regio- and stereoselective hydrochlorination/cyclization of enynes has been reported by FeCl3 catalysis. A variety of enynes undergo this cyclization transformation with acetic chloride as the chlorine source and H2O providing protons via a cationic pathway. This protocol provides a cheap, simple, stereospecific, and effective cyclization to afford heterocyclic alkenyl chloride compounds as Z isomers with high yields (≤98%) and regioselectivity.

Abstract
In this review, we discussed about the synthetic developments in the field of Fe-catalysis for the formation of - bonds through the coupling of alkynes and alcohols, for the period of 13 years (2008-2020). These strategies fulfil important Green Chemistry principles, as they are highly atom economic (up to 100 %), no toxic by-products (only water), employs highly abundant and low toxic alcohols (no need for any pre-functionalization hence step economy) and cheaper Fe-catalysts. Having these advantages, one can predict that in the coming years a large number of fascinating new iron-catalyzed reactions will be developed for the organic synthesis. We hope that this review article will be highly useful for the synthetic community to design and develop new Fe-catalyzed coupling reactions and keeps the content in the right prospect.

Abstract
Herein, we report a metal-free intramolecular carbofluorination protocol for the synthesis of tetrasubstituted monofluoroalkenes from internal α,β-ynones and Selectfluor with both high stereoselectivity and broad functional group tolerance. The chelation between tetrafluoroborate anion and the oxygen present in the aldehyde group rendered the reaction highly stereoselective, with the tetrafluoroborate serving as the direct fluorine source. Therefore, with addition of sodium tetrafluoroborate, Selectfluor could be reused several times without sacrificing reactivity.
