Abstract
Currently, most conventional methods to achieve imidazo[1,5-a]pyridines have limitations for the synthesis of 3-acyl imidazo[1,5-a]pyridines. Herein, a novel and efficient Cu(I)-catalyzed three-component annulation method for the synthesis of valuable 3-acyl imidazo[1,5-a]pyridines by the reaction of 2-pyridinyl-substituted p-QMs, terminal alkynes, and TsN3 in the presence of O2 under mild conditions have successfully been developed. The investigation indicated that molecular oxygen (O2) and TsN3, respectively, serving as oxygen and nitrogen sources, were essential for the successful completion of the reaction system.

Abstract
Electrochemical dearomatization has been recognized as an attractive tool for the rapid construction of structurally diverse molecules. The designed methodology encompasses an eco-friendly and efficient electrochemical approach to synthesizing spiro[4.5]dienones under mild reaction conditions. Furthermore, detailed mechanistic studies strongly bolster our hypothesis and emphasize the role of HFIP in the mechanism. The protocol is scalable and showcases a broad substrate scope with tolerance toward numerous functional groups. Henceforth, this strategy can be deployed as an alternative and sustainable tool for accessing spiro[4.5]dienones.

Abstract
Fuchsones have wide applications in modern society. Present methods for generating fuchsones have many disadvantages and there are significant limitations for further exploration of fuchsone applications. Herein, we describe a DMSO-promoted direct δ-selective arylation of p-QMs to synthesize symmetrical and unsymmetrical fuchsones under metal-free conditions by employing p-QMs themselves or substituted phenols as aryl sources. As unprecedented methods, these novel strategies present a great advantage and significance for further exploration of fuchsones and the development of new applications.

Abstract
Herein, we report a straightforward one-pot synthesis of tetrahydrofurobenzopyran and tetrahydrofurobenzofuran systems via an in situ ring-expansion of the cyclopropane carbaldehydes followed by a [2 + n] cycloaddition with the quinone derivatives. The transformation not only unveils a new reaction mode of cyclopropane carbaldehydes with quinone methides/esters, but also promotes a step-efficient diastereoselective route to the sophisticatedly fused oxygen tricycles that can be further dehydrogenated to access the valued dihydro-2H-furo[2,3-b]chromene frameworks.

Abstract
In this work, l-tryptophan functionalized silica-coated magnetic nanoparticles were readily prepared and evaluated as a recyclable magnetic nanocatalyst for the synthesis of spiro[indene-2,2′-naphthalene]-4′-carbonitrile derivatives through the one-pot four-component reaction of malononitrile, cyclohexanone, aromatic aldehydes, and 1,3-indandione. This novel magnetic nanocatalyst was confirmed to be effective and provide products in moderate to excellent yields under reflux conditions. The structure of obtained nanoparticles was characterized using FT-IR, XRD, VSM, EDX, elemental mapping, FE-SEM, and TGA. This synthetic protocol provides several benefits such as excellent yields in short reaction times (64–91%), saving costs, reusability of the catalyst using an external magnet (seven runs), and low catalyst loading. l-Tryptophan functionalized silica-coated magnetic nanoparticles were prepared and evaluated as a magnetic nanocatalyst for the synthesis of spiro[indene-2,2′-naphthalene]-4′-carbonitrile derivatives through the one-pot four-component reaction.![]()
