Abstract
Detailed mechanistic investigations on our previously reported synthesis of branched allylic esters by the rhodium complex‐catalyzed propargylic C−H activation have been carried out. Based on initial mechanistic studies, we present herein more detailed investigations of the reaction mechanism. For this, various analytical (NMR, X‐ray crystal structure analysis, Raman) and kinetic methods were used to characterize the formation of intermediates under the reaction conditions. The knowledge obtained by this was used to further optimize the previous conditions and generate a more active catalytic system.

Abstract
A comprehensive study of a diastereoselective Rh-catalyzed cyclization of terminal and internal allenols is reported. The methodology allows the atom economic and highly syn-selective access to synthetically important 2,4-disubstituted and 2,4,6-trisubstituted tetrahydropyrans (THP). Furthermore, its utility and versatility are demonstrated by a great functional-group compatibility and the enantioselective total synthesis of (-)-centrolobine.

Abstract
Diverse late transition metal catalysts convert terminal or internal alkynes into transient allylmetal species that display electrophilic or nucleophilic properties. Whereas classical methods for the generation of allylmetal species often form stoichiometric by-products, the recent use of alkynes as allylmetal precursors enables completely atom-efficient catalytic processes to be carried out, including enantioselective transformations.

Abstract
We show that N-alkynylnitrones are efficiently converted to nitrogenous heterobicyclic compounds with a nitrogen atom at the bridgehead position by using a RhIII -catalyst. Our mechanistic studies suggest that the reaction proceeds via an allene intermediate, which is generated in situ through RhIII -catalyzed isomerization of the alkyne group.

Abstract
A diastereoselective and stereodivergent rhodium-catalyzed intramolecular coupling of sulfonylcarbamates with terminal allenes is described and it provides selective access to 1,3-aminoalcohol derivatives, scaffolds found in bioactive compounds. The reaction is compatible with a large range of different functional groups, thus furnishing products with high diastereoselectivities and yields. Moreover, multigram scale reactions, as well as the application of suitable product transformations were demonstrated.

Abstract
A highly regio- and enantioselective hydrothiolation of terminal allenes, a reaction which fulfills the criteria of atom economy, is reported. Applying two chiral rhodium catalyst systems, a wide variety of thiols and allenes could be coupled. Oxidation gave access to the corresponding allylic sulfones in essentially enantiomerically pure form. The reaction tolerates a variety of functional groups and labeling experiments gave first insights into the reaction mechanism of this new methodology.

Abstract
Palladium-catalyzed addition of alcohol pronucleophiles 1 to alkylidenecyclopropane derivatives 2 afforded the corresponding allylic ethers 3 in excellent to moderate yields. Catalyst optimization indicated the Pd(PPh3)4-P(o-tolyl)3 combination as the best system among all catalysts tested. Intramolecular reaction also proceeded smoothly. A plausible mechanism for this catalytic reaction was proposed.
