Abstract
A novel gold‐catalyzed cycloisomerization of 1,6‐diynes was achieved, providing an atom‐economic approach to a diverse set of bicyclo[2.2.1]hept‐5‐en‐2‐ones in moderate to good yields. With unsymmetrical starting materials with two different internal alkynyl substituents, to some extent, the regioselectivity could be controlled by both electronic and steric factors. This unprecedented reactivity pattern may inspire new and unconventional strategies for the preparation of bridged ring systems.

Abstract
Conjugated 1,5-diynes bearing two aromatic units at the alkyne termini were converted in the presence of a gold catalyst. Under mild conditions, aryl-substituted dibenzopentalenes were generated. Calculations predict that aurated vinyl cations are key intermediates of the reaction. A bidirectional approach provided selective access to the angular annulated product in high yield, which was explained by calculations.

Abstract
The first transition metal-free cycloisomerization of easily accessible diynols is presented as a novel approach to bicyclic 2H-pyrans. As a one-step protocol, the reaction proceeds in a single reaction cascade by intertwining mechanistic fragments borrowed from transition metal-catalyzed Claisen rearrangment of vinyl ethers with our own work on allenyl/propargyl cation rearrangements and a 6π-oxo-electrocylization. It is enabled by a new cooperative catalytic system that combines a simple Ca(2+) catalyst with camphorsulfonic acid.

Abstract
Homogeneous gold catalysts are interesting as they can act as potent carbophilic Lewis acids to activate the π bonds of alkynes, allenes, and alkenes. Many impressive applications for the formation of C−C or C−heteroatom bonds have been found due to the excellent functional group compatibility of these catalysts and the air and moisture tolerance of their reactions. Here, we have developed gold‐catalyzed novel intramolecular cycloisomerizations of nitrogen or oxygen‐tethered cyclopropenes with propargylic esters. The reaction proceeded through different pathways according to different substituent styles, affording 5‐azaspiro[2.5]oct‐7‐enes and bicyclo[4.1.0]heptanes.

Abstract
A gold-catalyzed cycloisomerization of 1,6-diynes containing an ynamide propargyl ester or carbonate moiety has been developed that provides an attractive route to a diverse-substituted 3-acyloxy-1,4-dihydrocyclopenta[b]indoles. Mechanistic studies indicate that the reaction likely proceeds through a competitive 1,2-OAc migration followed by [3+2] cycloaddition of the vinyl gold-carbenoid intermediate with the pendant triple bond. The synthetic utility of the obtained cyclopenta[b]indole products was demonstrated by their efficient transformations by deprotection or double-bond isomerization reactions.

Abstract
A synthetic approach that provides access to cis-cyclohepta-4,8-diene-fused pyrrolidines efficiently through Au(I) -catalyzed cycloisomerization of 1,6,8-dienyne carbonates and esters at a low catalyst loading of 2 mol % is reported. Starting carbonates and esters with a pendant alkyl group on the terminal alkenyl carbon center were found to favor tandem 1,2-acyloxy migration/cyclopropanation followed by Cope rearrangement of the resulting cis-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane intermediate. On the other hand, substrates containing a terminal diene or starting materials in which the distal alkene moiety bears a phenyl substituent were observed to undergo competitive but reversible 1,3-acyloxy migration prior to the nitrogen-containing bicyclic ring formation. The delineated reaction mechanism also provides experimental evidence for the reversible interconversion between the oft-proposed organogold intermediates obtained in this step of the tandem process.

Abstract
New perspectives, in particular for the synthesis of isochromane derivatives (see scheme), are provided by the title reaction. Excellent diastereoselectivites are achieved in this reaction which proceeds through a gold-catalyzed 1,3-acyloxy migration. In some cases exclusively the Z isomer is detected.

Abstract
Rearranged: The described gold-catalyzed cycloisomerizations give access to highly substituted benzo[b]fluorenes under mild reaction conditions (see scheme). Experimental results indicate that the in situ formed oxocarbenium ion intermediates, derived from gold-catalyzed 3,3-rearrangement and 6-endo-dig cyclization, undergo intramolecular arylation and subsequent decarboxylative etherification to furnish the final ether products.

Abstract
The addition of nucleophiles to C=N bonds offers a highly efficient synthetic strategy for accessing nitrogen-containing molecules.1 Among the well-developed addition reactions, such as the highly efficient Mannich reaction, various C-H bond-activated compounds including carboxylic acid derivatives, nitroalkanes, and terminal alkynes have been applied as nucleophiles to achieve different classes of amines.2 However, employing new nucleophiles without activated C-H bonds, such as internal alkynes and allenic esters are limited when using metal catalysts.3 Herein, we wish to report a new addition of allenic esters to C=N bonds initiated by a silver-catalyzed 1,3-migration of propargylic esters.
