Abstract
The valorization of carbon dioxide (CO2 ) to fine chemicals is one of the most promising approaches for CO2 capture and utilization. Herein we demonstrated a series of porous organometallic polymers could be employed as highly efficient and recyclable catalysts for this purpose. Synergetic effects of specific surface area, iridium content, and CO2 adsorption capability are crucial to achieve excellent selectivity and yields towards N-formylation of diverse amines with CO2 and H2 under mild reaction conditions even at 20 ppm catalyst loading. Density functional theory calculations revealed not only a redox-neutral catalytic pathway but also a new plausible mechanism with the incorporation of the key intermediate formic acid via a proton-relay process. Remarkably, a record turnover number (TON=1.58×106 ) was achieved in the synthesis of N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), and the solid catalysts can be reused up to 12 runs, highlighting their practical potential in industry.

Abstract
In recent years, palladium-catalyzed allylation has become the focus of much research. However, conventional homogeneous Pd catalysts face problems regarding their recovery, reuse, and cost, especially with respect to green chemistry principles. Herein, we present an overview of the development of catalytic allylation with various heterogeneous Pd catalysts, because they can be easily and conveniently recovered and reused. We also emphasize the use of different solid supports such as polymers, silica, and other hybrid supports to inspire future research in this promising field. Moreover, the unique effects of support surfaces for enhancing catalysis by immobilized heterogeneous Pd species are introduced.

Abstract
Porous organometallic polymers (POMPs) with hierarchical pore structures, high specific surface areas, and atomically dispersed metal (Ir, Pd, Ru) centers are successfully fabricated by a facile one-pot method through direct knitting of diverse N-heterocyclic carbene metal (NHC-M) complexes. These polymers can function as recyclable solid single-site catalysts and exhibit excellent catalytic activity and selectivity in both dehydrogenation and hydrogenation reactions even at ppm-level catalyst loadings. Remarkably, a record turnover number (TON) of 1.01 × 106 is achieved in the hydrogenation of levulinic acid to γ-valerolactone, which is 750 times higher than that attained with corresponding bis-NHC-Ir complex.

Abstract
A stereodivergent reductive coupling reaction between allylic carbonates and vinyl triflates to furnish both E- and Z-configured 1,4-dienes has been achieved by visible-light-induced photoredox/nickel dual catalysis. The mild reaction conditions allow good compatibility of both vinyl triflates and allylic carbonates. Notably, the stereoselectivity of this synergistic cross-electrophile coupling can be tuned by an appropriate photocatalyst with a suitable triplet-state energy, providing a practical and stereodivergent means to alkene synthesis. Preliminary mechanistic studies shed some light on the coupling step as well as the control of the stereoselectivity step.

Abstract
A simple and efficient protocol for the direct reductive cross-coupling between alkenyl and benzyl halides using a Co/Mn system has been developed. This reaction proceeds smoothly in the presence of [CoBr2 (PPh3 )2 ] as the catalyst, with NaI as an additive in acetonitrile with a broad scope of functionalized alkenyl and benzyl halides. Different functional groups are tolerated on both coupling partners, thus, significantly extending the general scope of transition-metal-catalyzed benzylation of alkenyl halides. Moderate to excellent yields were also obtained. From a mechanistic point of view, a radical chain mechanism was proposed. This reaction is stereospecific and some studies suggest the retention of the double-bond configuration.
