Abstract
By using diazonaphthoquinones and anilines as key reagents and through a point-to-axis chiral transfer strategy, the atroposelective synthesis via asymmetric C(sp2 )-H bond insertion reaction of arenes has been realized under rhodium catalysis, providing the resulting biaryl atropisomers in moderate to excellent yields with good enantiomeric ratios (up to 99:1). Further elaboration indicates this type of axially biaryl scaffold may have promising potentials in developing novel chiral ligands.

Abstract
Utilizing an intramolecular frustrated Lewis pair (FLP) decorated with a strongly donating guanidino moiety enabled the formation of a thermally remarkably stable FLP-CO adduct, which at 120 °C underwent CO migration to form an acyl borane. Both compounds underwent rapid CO cleavage in the presence of strong electrophiles leading to the selective formation of a range of new 1,2- and 1,3-benzazaboroles in good yields under mild conditions.

Abstract
N-C Biaryl atropisomers are prevalent in natural products and bioactive drug molecules. However, the enantioselective synthesis of such molecules has not developed significantly. Particularly, the enantioselective synthesis of N-C biaryl atropisomers by stereoselective metal-catalyzed aryl amination remains unprecedented. Herein, a Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling strategy is presented for the synthesis of N-C axially chiral biaryl molecules. A broad spectrum of N-C axially chiral compounds was obtained with excellent enantioselectivities (up to 99 % ee) and good yields (up to 98 %). The practicality of this reaction was validated in the synthesis of useful biological molecules.
