Abstract
Large-scale and low-cost synthesis of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) to meet the demands of industrial application remains formidably challenge. Here we report using 2,4,6-collidine as monomer to produce a series of highly crystalline olefin-linked COFs by a melt polymerization method. This method enables the kilogram-scale fabrication of self-shaped monolithic robust foams. The afforded COFs possess extremely low cost (<50 USD/kg), superior to all the reported COFs. Furthermore, using one-pot or post-modification methods can conveniently transform neutral COFs to ionic COFs, which can be applied as highly efficient ion-exchange sorbents for scavenging oxoanion pollutants. Remarkably, the superior adsorption capacity of a model oxoanion (ReO4 - ) is the highest among crystalline porous materials reported so far. This work not only expands the scopes of olefin-linked COFs but also enlightens the route for the industrial production of crystalline ion exchange sorbents.

Abstract
Metallic Li is considered the most promising anode material for high-energy-density batteries owing to its high theoretical capacity and low electrochemical potential. However, inhomogeneous lithium deposition and uncontrollable growth of lithium dendrites result in low lithium utilization, rapid capacity fading, and poor cycling performance. Herein, two sulfonated covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with different sulfonated group contents are synthesized as the multifunctional interlayers in lithium metal batteries. The sulfonic acid groups in the pore channels can serve as Li-anchoring sites that effectively coordinate Li ions. These periodically arranged subunits significantly guide uniform Li-ion flux distribution, guarantee smooth Li deposition, and reduce lithium dendrite formation. Consequently, these characteristics afford an excellent quasi-solid-state electrolyte with a high ionic conductivity of 1.9 × 10-3 S cm-1 at room temperature and a superior Li++ transference number of 0.91. A Li/LiFePO4 battery with the COF-based electrolyte exhibited dendrite-free Li deposition during the charge process, accompanied by no capacity decay after 100 cycles at 0.1 C.

Abstract
Obtaining 18O-labeled organic substances is of great research importance and also an extremely challenging work. In this work, depending on the reversed Knoevenagel reaction, 18O-labeled aromatic aldehydes (3a-3x) are successfully obtained with high total yields (52-72%) and sufficient 18O abundance (90.90-96.09%).

Abstract
Embedding heteroatoms into the main backbones of polymeric materials has become an efficient tool for tailoring their structures and improving their properties. However, owing to comparatively harsh heteroatom-doping conditions, this has rarely been explored in covalent organic frameworks (COFs). Herein, upon aldol condensation of a trimethyl-substituted pyrylium salt with a tritopic aromatic aldehyde, a two-dimensional oxonium-embedded COF with vinylene linkages was achieved, which was further converted to a neutral pyridine-cored COF by in situ replacement of oxonium ions with nitrogen atoms under ammonia treatment. The two heteroatom-embedded COFs are conceptually isoelectronic with each other, featuring similar geometric structures but different electronic structures, rendering them capable of catalyzing the visible-light-promoted multi-component synthesis of tri-substituted pyridine derivatives with good recyclability.
