Abstract
Herein, we provide eco-friendly and safely operated electrocatalytic methods for the selective oxidation directly or with water, air, light, metal catalyst or other mediators serving as the only oxygen supply. Heavy metals, stoichiometric chemical oxidants, or harsh conditions were drawbacks of earlier oxidative cleavage techniques. It has recently come to light that a crucial stage in the deconstruction of plastic waste and the utilization of biomass is the selective activation of inert C(sp3 )-C/H(sp3 ) bonds, which continues to be a significant obstacle in the chemical upcycling of resistant polyolefin waste. An appealing alternative to chemical oxidations using oxygen and catalysts is direct or indirect electrochemical conversion. An essential transition in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries is the electrochemical oxidation of C-H/C-C bonds. In this review, we discuss cutting-edge approaches to chemically recycle commercial plastics and feasible C-C/C-H bonds oxygenation routes for industrial scale-up.

Abstract
In recent years, the merging of electrosynthesis with 3d metal catalyzed C-H activation has emerged as a sustainable and powerful technique in organic synthesis. Despite the impressive advantages, the development of an enantioselective version remains elusive and poses a daunting challenge. Herein, we report the first electrooxidative cobalt-catalyzed enantio- and regioselective C-H/N-H annulation with olefins using an undivided cell at room temperature (up to 99 % ee). t Bu-Salox, a rationally designed Salox ligand bearing a bulky tert-butyl group at the ortho-position of phenol, was found to be crucial for this asymmetric annulation reaction. A strong cooperative effect between t Bu-Salox and 3,4,5-trichloropyridine enabled the highly enantio- and regioselective C-H annulation with the more challenging α-olefins without secondary bond interactions (up to 96 % ee and 97 : 3 rr). Cyclovoltametric studies, and the preparation, characterization, and transformation of cobaltacycle intermediates shed light on the mechanism of this reaction.

Abstract
Over the last ten years, the combination of organocatalysis with transition metal (TM) catalysis has become one of the most important toolboxes used for synthesizing optically pure compounds containing chiral quaternary centers, including spiro heterocyclic molecules. The dominant method in the enantioselective synthesis of spiro heterocyclic compounds based on synergistic catalysis includes chiral aminocatalysis and NHC catalysis, as already established covalent organocatalytic strategies. Another area of organocatalysis widely combined with TM catalysis producing enantiomerically enriched spiro heterocyclic compounds is non-covalent catalysis, dominated by chiral phosphoric acids, thiourea, and squaramide derivatives. This review article aims to summarize enantioselective methods used for constructing spirocyclic heterocycles based on a combination of organocatalysis and transition metal catalysis.

Abstract
Satoh-Miura reaction is an important method for extending π-systems by forging multi-substituted benzene rings via double aryl C-H activation and annulation with alkynes. However, the development of highly enantioselective Satoh-Miura reaction remains rather challenging. Herein, we report an asymmetric Satoh-Miura reaction between 1-aryl benzo[h]isoquinolines and internal alkynes enabled by a SCpRh-catalyst. Judiciously choosing the counteranion of the Rh-catalyst is crucial for the desired reactivity over the competitive formation of azoniahelicenes. Detailed mechanistic studies support the proposal of counteranion-directed switching of reaction pathways in Rh-catalyzed asymmetric C-H activation.

Abstract
CuX as a simple dual catalyst strategy that promotes the tandem transformations of fused oxazolo[2,3-b][1,3]oxazines has been developed. Copper catalyzed terminal ynones, sulfonyl azides, and nitriles for the CuAAC/ring cleavage/[4+2] annulation reaction, while the halogen catalyzed ring cleavage and [2+3] annulation of oxiranes to form the final fused products. This study provides a four-component, one-pot strategy for synthesizing complex fused heterocycles from simple ingredients and expands the application of CuAAC in organic synthesis.

Abstract
Previous methods on CoIII -catalyzed asymmetric C-H activation rely on the use of tailor-made cyclopentadienyl-ligated CoIII complexes, which require lengthy steps for the preparation. Herein, we report an unprecedented enantioselective C-H functionalization enabled by a simple cobalt/salicyloxazoline (Salox) catalysis. The chiral Salox ligands can be easily prepared in one step from salicylonitrile and chiral amino alcohols. A broad range of P-stereogenic compounds were synthesized in high yields with excellent enantioselectivities (45 examples, up to 99 % yield and >99 % ee). The isolation and characterization of several intermediates provided insights into the generation of active catalytic cobalt species, the action of Salox, and the mode of stereocontrol.
