Abstract
A visible light-induced radical cascade reaction of 2-alkynylarylethers with sodium sulfinates was established for the synthesis of sulfonyl-functionalized dihydrobenzofurans, and an intramolecular 1,5-hydrogen atom transfer was involved in this transformation. This process provided an efficient and convenient C-C formation protocol for the construction of a dihydrobenzofuran ring. Various substituents on 2-alkynylarylethers and sodium sulfinates were tolerated in the reaction, and the corresponding products were obtained in moderate to good yields.

Abstract
Silver-catalyzed cascade difunctionalization of N-(p-methoxyaryl)propiolamides coupled with dearomatization was achieved and used to regiospecifically construct a variety of phosphorylated aza-decenones bearing adjacent quaternary stereocenters under mild conditions in moderate to excellent yields.

Abstract
The reactions of phosphinylidene-containing compounds with unactivated unsaturated hydrocarbons are reviewed. The review is organized by phosphorus-containing functional group types. Free-radical and metal-catalyzed additions of R(1)R(2)P(O)H to alkenes, alkynes, and related compounds, deliver functionalized organophosphorus compounds RP(O)R(1)R(2), including H-phosphinates, phosphinates, tertiary phosphine oxides, and phosphonates. The review covers the literature up to February 2008.

Abstract
A novel radical domino process relying on the homolytic cleavage of P-S bonds allows the preparation of phosphorus-containing molecules through addition of P-centered radicals onto olefins. The key step of this reaction is a homolytic substitution on a sulfur atom. The scope of the reaction is broad. Diaminophosphonyl radicals whose reactivity was unknown react smoothly with olefins. Use of tin hydride can be avoided. A radical thiophosphinoylation of triple bonds has been uncovered. [reaction: see text]
