Abstract
A series of coinage metal complexes bearing rarely explored ortho-silylated phosphine is reported. The treatment of diphenyl(2-(trimethylsilyl)phenyl)phosphine (1) with CuCl and [Cu(CH3CN)4]BF4 furnished the corresponding neutral [(1)CuCl]2 (2) and mono-cationic [(1)2Cu(CH3CN)]BF4 (3) complexes, respectively. The reactions of 1 with AgX (X = BF4-, NO3-) in 2 : 1 ratio furnished the corresponding mono cationic dicoordinate silver(I) complexes of the type [(1)2Ag]X (X = BF4- (4a), NO3- (4b)). The ortho-silylated phosphine ligand (1) was conveniently converted into the corresponding sulfide (5a) and selenide (5b) species, and their reactions with [Cu(CH3CN)4]BF4 yielded mono-cationic, homoleptic tris(silylphosphinochalcogenide)copper(I) complexes of the type [(5a/5b)3Cu]BF4 (6a/6b). The molecular structures of 2-4 and 6 were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The copper complexes 2, 3, and 6a were employed as catalysts in azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions. Among these complexes, 3 was extensively used in the preparation of various mono- and bis-triazoles consisting of tolyl, benzyl, carbazolyl, and propargylic ether groups. Three sets of substituted triazole derivatives were achieved under mild conditions by employing copper(I) catalytic systems. The mechanistic studies indicated the formation of a heteroleptic copper(I) triazolide intermediate which was detected by high-resolution mass spectral analysis.

Abstract
In order to synthesize new iron (II) complexes of 1,5-diaza-3,7-diphosphacyclooctanes with a wider variety of the substituents on ligands heteroatoms (including functionalized ones, namely, pyridyl groups) and co-ligands, it was found that these ligands with relatively small phenyl, benzyl, and pyridin-2-yl substituents on phosphorus atoms in acetonitrile formed bis-P,P-chelate cis-complexes [L2Fe(CH3CN)2]2+ (BF4)2−, whereas P-mesityl-substituted ligand formed only monoligand P,P-complex [LFe(CH3CN)4]2+ (BF4)2−. 3,7-dibenzyl-1,5-di(1′-(R)-phenylethyl)-1,5-diaza-3,7-diphosphacyclooctane reacted with hexahydrate of iron (II) tetrafluoroborate in acetone to give an unusual bis-ligand cationic complex of the composition [L2Fe(BF4)]+ BF4−, where two fluorine atoms of the tetrafluoroborate unit occupied two pseudo-equatorial positions at roughly octahedral iron ion, according to X-ray diffraction data. 1,5-diaza-3,7-diphosphacyclooctanes replaced tetrahydrofurane and one of the carbonyl ligands of cyclopentadienyldicarbonyl(tetrahydrofuran)iron (II) tetrafluoroborate to form heteroligand complexes [CpFeL(CO)]+BF4−. The structural studies in the solid phase and in solutions showed that diazadiphosphacyclooctane ligands of all complexes adopted chair-boat conformations so that their nitrogen atoms were in close proximity to the central iron ion. The redox properties of the obtained complexes were performed by the cyclic voltammetry method.

Abstract
Supramolecular self-assembly allows components to organize themselves into regular patterns by using non-covalent interactions to find the lowest-energy configuration. However, self-assembling organic and inorganic building blocks together into an ordered framework remains a challenge due to the difficulties in rationally interfacing two dissimilar materials. Herein, we report on the host-guest ensemble of polyoxometalates (POMs) using cyclodextrins (CDs) as the trapping agent to form POM@γ-CD entities. Two unprecedented super cubic isostructures, Co/Cu-PW12O40-γ-CD, were obtained. The self-assembly has been observed both in solution (MS, 1D NMR and 2D DOSY) and in the solid state. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that in a unit cell, the inner (POM@γ-CD)12 cube is encapsulated by the outer (POM@γ-CD)24 cube. Besides, due to the rather large spherical voids, two (POM@γ-CD)24 cubes are interspersed together. Preliminary investigations of the redox properties of the [PW12O40]3- encapsulated in the γ-cyclodextrins indicate that the redox properties of the trianion are largely retained, yet an additional electrochemical stabilization is observed. The adduct reported here opens the door to a new generation of hybrid materials with tuned structures and customized functionalities.

Abstract
The replacement of hazardous solvents and the utilization of catalytic processes are two key points of the green chemistry movement, so aqueous organometallic catalytic processes are of great interest in this context. Nevertheless, these processes require not only the use of water-soluble ligands such as phosphanes to solubilise the transition metals in water, but also the use of mass transfer agents to increase the solubility of organic substrates in water. In this context, phosphanes based on a cyclodextrin skeleton are an interesting alternative since these compounds can simultaneously act as mass transfer agents and as coordinating species towards transition metals. For twenty years, various cyclodextrin-functionalized phosphanes have been described in the literature. Nevertheless, while their coordinating properties towards transition metals and their catalytic properties were fully detailed, their mass transfer agent properties were much less discussed. As these mass transfer agent properties are directly linked to the availability of the cyclodextrin cavity, the aim of this review is to demonstrate that the nature of the reaction solvent and the nature of the linker between cyclodextrin and phosphorous moieties can deeply influence the recognition properties. In addition, the impact on the catalytic activity will be also discussed.

Abstract
Forty years after Venanzi's seminal studies on trans-spanning diphosphines, a cavity-shaped trans chelator (TRANSDIP) has been used to monitor the stepwise formation of a carbon-carbon bond on a palladium centre. Furthermore, the ligand, which incorporates a cyclodextrin subunit, enabled the synthesis of the first η(2)-dioxygen complex in which the M-O(2) unit is entrapped within a cavity.

Abstract
The steric protection offered by the macrobinucleating hexaazaditiophenolateligand (L) allows for the preparation of the first stable dinuclear nickel(II) borohydride bridged complex, which reacts rapidly with elemental sulphur producing a tetranuclear nickel(II) complex [{(L)Ni2}2(μ-S6)]2+ bearing a helical μ4-hexa- sulfide ligand. The [(L)CoII 2]2+ fragment have been able to trap a monomethyl orthomolybdate in the binding pocket. Unusual coordination modes of substrate in dinuclear macrocyclic compounds was demonstrated.
