Abstract
Here, we prepared UiO-66-NH2 and employed a post-synthesis modification method for its functionalization with a β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) organic compound. The resulting composite was employed as a support for the heterogenization of the Pd NPs. Various techniques, including FT-IR, XRD, SEM, TEM, EDS, and elemental mapping, were used to characterize UiO-66-NH2@β-CD/PdNPs, indicating its successful preparation. Three C-C coupling reactions, including the Suzuki, Heck, and Sonogashira coupling reactions, were promoted using the produced catalyst. As a result of the PSM, the proposed catalyst displays improved catalytic performance. In addition, the suggested catalyst was highly recyclable up to 6 times.

Abstract
A novel heterogeneous Zr-based metal-organic framework containing an amino group functionalized with nitrogen-rich organic ligand (guanidine), through a step-by-step post synthesis modification approach, was successfully modified by the stabilization of palladium metal nanoparticles on the prepared UiO-66-NH2 support in order to synthesize the Suzuki-Murray, Mizoroki-Heck, and copper-free Sonogashira reactions and also the carbonylative Sonogashira reaction incorporating H2O as a green solvent under mild conditions. This newly synthesized highly efficient and reusable UiO-66-NH2@cyanuric chloride@guanidine/Pd-NPs reported catalyst has been utilized to increase anchoring palladium onto the substrate with the aim of altering the construction of the intended synthesis catalyst to form the C-C coupling derivatives. Several strategies, including X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared, scanning electron microscopy, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller, transmission microscopy electron, thermogravimetric analysis, inductively coupled plasma, energy-dispersive X-ray, and elemental mapping analyzes, were used to indicate the successful preparation of the UiO-66-NH2@cyanuric chloride@guanidine/Pd-NPs. In these reactions, the UiO-66-NH2-supported Pd-NPs illustrated superior performances compared to their catalyst, revealing the benefits of providing nanocatalysts. As a result, the proposed catalyst is favorable in a green solvent, and also, the outputs are accomplished with good to excellent outputs. Furthermore, the suggested catalyst represented very good reusability with no remarkable loss in activity up nine sequential runs.

Abstract
Here we prepared a highly efficient and reusable catalyst by a step-by-step postsynthesis modification of UiO-66-NH2 metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) with nitrogen-rich organic ligands and used it as support for the preparation of UiO-66-NH2@cyanuric chloride@2-aminopyrimidine/PdNPs. The catalytic performance's results of UiO-66-NH2@cyanuric chloride@2-aminopyrimidine/PdNPs, UiO-66-NH2/PdNPs, and UiO-66-NH2@cyanuric chloride/PdNPs indicate high efficiency of the modulation of the microenvironment of the palladium NPs. The addition of N-rich organic ligands through postsynthesis modification caused a unique structure of the final composite in favor of the progress of the C-C coupling reaction. Various techniques, including FT-IR, XRD, SEM, TEM, EDS, and elemental mapping, were used to characterize UiO-66-NH2@cyanuric chloride@2-aminopyrimidine/PdNPs, indicating its successful preparation. As a result of the postsynthesis modification (PSM), the proposed catalyst displays improved catalytic performance. In addition, the suggested catalyst was highly recyclable up to ten times without leaching of PdNPs.

Phosphonic acid tagged carbon quantum dots encapsulated in SBA-15 as a novel catalyst for the preparation of N-heterocycles with pyrazolo, barbituric acid and indole moieties. Sci Rep 2022; 12:20812. Abstract
Herein, we have presented a new insight for the synthesis of a hybrid heterogeneous catalyst. For this purpose, phosphonic acid tagged carbon quantum dots of CQDs-N(CH2PO3H2)2 encapsulated and assembled in channels of SBA-15 using a post-modification strategy. The mesoporous catalyst of functionalized carbon quantum dots (CQDs) was characterized by several techniques. CQDs-N(CH2PO3H2)2/SBA-15 as an excellent catalyst was applied for the preparation of novel pyrazolo[4',3':5,6]pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives by using pyrazole, barbituric acid and indole moieties at 100 °C under the solvent-free condition. The present work shows that a significant increase in the catalytic activity can be achieved by a rational design of mesoporous SBA-15 modified with CQDs for the synthesis of biological active candidates. The synthesized compounds did not convert to their corresponding pyridines via an anomeric-based oxidation mechanism.

Abstract
Nanoreactors are material structures with engineered internal cavities which create exclusive confined nanoscale surroundings for chemical reactions. The cavities of mesoporous silica SBA-15 can be used as nanoreactors for incorporating catalytic species such as metal nanoparticles, complexes etc. Since SBA-15 silica has a neutral framework, organic functional groups and heteroatoms have been embedded by direct or post-synthesis approaches in order to modify their functionality. Palladium is the most used transition metal for C-C bond formations. Because of the great importance of C-C coupling reactions, this review article aims at providing a deep insight into the state of art in the field of the synthesis and the application of mesoporous SBA-15 silica-supported Pd catalysts in C-C coupling transformations. In most cases, synthesis and modification of the catalyst, time and yield of reactions, recyclability and leaching of the Pd species from the SBA-15 support are discussed to reveal the role of SBA-15 in C-C coupling reactions.

Abstract
In this study, a novel electrochemical sensor for the determination of methanol based on palladium nanoparticles supported on Santa barbara amorphous-15- PrNHEtNH2 (PdNPs@SBA-15-PrEn) as nanocatalysis platform is presented. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electrochemical methods are employed to characterize the PdNPs@SBA-15-PrEn nanocomposite. The Nafion-Pd@SBA-15-PrEn modified glassy carbon electrode (Nafion-PdNPs@SBA-15-PrEn/GCE) displayed the high electrochemical activity and excellent catalytic characteristic for electro-oxidation of methanol in an alkaline solution. The electro-oxidation performance of the proposed sensor was investigated using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and amperometry. The sensor exhibits a good sensitivity of 0.0905 Amol-1 Lcm-2, linear range of 20-1000 μM and the corresponding detection limit of 12 μM (3σ). The results demonstrate that the Nafion-PdNPs@SBA-15-PrEn/GCE has potential as an efficient and integrated sensor for methanol detection.

Abstract
Functionalized SBA-15 mesoporous silica particles, bearing N-propylsalicylaldimine and ethylenediaminepropylesalicylaldimine Schiff base ligands, abbreviated as SBA/SA and SBA/EnSA respectively, were prepared and characterized by FT-IR, elemental analysis, TGA, XRD, TEM and SEM techniques. The potentials of these adsorbents were examined by using them in solid phase extraction of U(VI) ions from water samples. It is shown that 20 mg of SBA/SA or SBA/EnSA can remove rapidly (∼15 min) and quantitatively uranium(VI) ions from 10 to 200 mL of water solutions (pH 4) containing 0.2 mg of the ions, at 25 °C. The adsorbed ions were stripped by 1 mL of dilute nitric acid solution (0.1 mol L(-1)). It means that the studied adsorbents are able to be used for removal and concentration of uranyl ions. This allowed achieving to a concentration factor of 200 for uranyl ions. The variation in the ionic strength in the range 0-1 mol L(-1) did not affect the extraction efficiencies of the adsorbents. The adsorbents showed selective separation of uranyl ions from Cd(2+), Co(2+), Ni(2+), Mn(2+), Cr(3+), Ba(2+), Fe(3+) and Eu(3+) ions. Thermodynamic investigations revealed that the adsorption of uranyl ions by the adsorbents was spontaneous and endothermic. The Langmuir model described suitably the adsorption isotherms. This model determined the maximum adsorption capacity of the adsorbents SBA/SA and SBA/EnSA as 54 and 105.3 mg uranyl/g adsorbent, respectively. The kinetics of the processes was interpreted by using Pseudo-second-order model.
