Abstract
The preferential growth of dense Cu-BTC MOFs (Cu-s) with the assistance of surfactants PF-127 has been investigated, forming long rods with an average length up to ∼3 mm. A simple photo-detecting device was fabricated, showing current enhancement under illumination.

Abstract
Two-photon (TP) absorption nanomaterials are highly desirable for deep-tissue clinical diagnostics and orthotopic disease treatment. Here, a well-designed core/shell nanostructure was successfully synthesized with a ZnTPyP self-assembly nanocrystal (ZSN) inner core coated by a homogeneous TiO2 layer outside (ZSN-TO). The ZSN is a good photosemiconductor, showing both one-photon (OP) and TP absorption properties for red fluorescence emission and electron-hole pair generation; TiO2 with good biocompatibility acts as the electron acceptor, which can transfer photoelectron from ZSN to TiO2 for highly effective electron-hole separation, favoring the production of long-life superoxide anion (O2•-) by electrons and oxygen and strong oxidizing hydroxyl radical (•OH) by holes and surrounding H2O. Once pretreated with ZSN-TO, the simultaneous OP-405 nm or TP-800 nm laser stimulation and fluorescent imaging of reactive oxygen species (ROS) showed dynamical and continuous generation of ROS in HeLa cells, with cytotoxicity significantly increasing via the type-1-like photodynamic therapy process. The results demonstrated that the combination of organic ZSN with inorganic TiO2 has great applications as an excellent photosensitizer for deep-tissue fluorescent imaging and noninvasive disease treatment via TP photodynamic therapy.

Abstract
5,10,15,20-Tetraphenyl-21H,23H-porphine cobalt flat stacking on the reduced graphene oxide with platinum nanoparticles (PtNPs/CoTPP/rGO) were first synthesized and functionalized with monoclonal rabbit anti-aflatoxin B1 antibody (anti-AFB1) for highly efficient electrochemical immunoassay of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) in this work. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), atomic force microscope (AFM) and spectral techniques were employed to characterize the PtNPs/CoTPP/rGO hybrids. Using anti-AFB1-conjugated PtNPs/CoTPP/rGO as the signal-transduction tag, a novel non-enzymatic electrochemical immunosensing system was designed for detection of target AFB1 on the AFB1-bovine serum albumin-functionalized sensing interface. Experimental results revealed that the designed immunoassay could exhibit good electrochemical responses for target analyte and allowed the detection of AFB1 at a concentration as low as 5.0 pg mL(-1) (5.0 ppt). Intra- and inter-assay coefficients of variation were below 10%. Importantly, the methodology was further validated for analyzing naturally contaminated or spiked blank peanut samples with consistent results obtained by AFB1 ELISA kit, thus providing a promising approach for quantitative monitoring of organic pollutants.
