Abstract
Carbon anions formed via the addition of Grignard reagents to SP-vinyl phosphinates were modified with electrophilic reagents to afford organophosphorus compounds with diverse carbon skeletons. The electrophiles included acids, aldehydes, epoxy groups, chalcogens and alkyl halides. When alkyl halides were used, bis-alkylated products were afforded. Substitution reactions or polymerization occurred when the reaction was applied to vinyl phosphine oxides.

Abstract
The straightforward synthesis of α-amino phosphine oxides via three-component reactions involving arynes, formamides and diarylphosphine oxides is disclosed. This method employs the aryne to activate formamide, without an external activating reagent, which is operationally simple under mild conditions with high efficiency. Furthermore, mechanistic perception suggests a cascade sequence including formal [2 + 2] cycloaddition of the aryne with a CO bond, and a 1,4-addition of the H-P(O) compounds to the enamine intermediates.

Abstract
Chiral organophosphorus compounds, especially those containing C-stereogenic carbons in the proximity of the phosphorus atom, are known for their unique properties and have found wide applications that span from medicinal chemistry to enantioselective catalysis. However, the synthesis of such chiral molecules, especially with the precise control of stereochemistry at chiral carbon atoms, still remains a very challenging task. This review summarizes recent advances in the highly stereoselective formation of C- and, in some cases, also P-stereogenic organophosphorus compounds. The presented synthesis strategy is based on the use of H-P reagents bearing TADDOL, BINOL or a menthol moiety attached to the phosphorus atom and serving as a chiral auxiliary. Reactions of such chiral H-P species with different partners, e.g., alkenes, alkynes, imines, and carbonyl compounds, leading to structurally diverse chiral organophosphorus compounds with up to five chiral centers are comprehensively discussed. In each case, the stereochemical outcome of the reaction is influenced by the presence of the chiral alcohol used; therefore, the content of this review is compiled into sections with respect to the type of chiral alcohol attached to the phosphorus atom in the H-P species applied.

Abstract
Phosphine ligands with up to six chiral sites were prepared, starting from 2-phenylphenol, via O- and P-alkylation, cyclization, and coupling. The chirality was transferred from (L)-menthyl to phosphorus, α-carbon, and axis, to achieve excellent diastereoselectivities. During an intramolecular SNAr reaction with alkoxyl as the leaving groups, the C-O bond was converted to a C-C bond. Both phosphine boranes and oxides could be used for the conversions, affording a series of cyclic phosphines.

Abstract
P,C-Stereogenic propargyl alcohols RC-3/SC-3' were prepared by the addition of (L)-menthyl-derived SPOs to propynals, which were converted to P,axial-stereogenic allenyl bisphosphine oxides. The chirality transfer was controlled by α-carbon via syn [2,3]-sigmatropic rearrangement. For SC-3' linking weak WDG on the alkynyl moiety, the chirality on the axis depended on stereogenic phosphorus.

Abstract
A family of α-aryl-α-aminophosphonates and α-aryl-α-aminophosphine oxides was synthesized by the microwave-assisted solvent-free addition of dialkyl phosphites and diphenylphosphine oxide, respectively, to imines formed from benzaldehyde derivatives and primary amines. After optimization, the reactivity was mapped, and the fine mechanism was evaluated by DFT calculations. Two α-aminophosphonates were subjected to an X-ray study revealing a racemic dimer formation made through a N-H···O=P intermolecular hydrogen bridges pair.
