Abstract
A facile C-H amination of quinazoline employing N-fluorobenzenesulfonimide (NFSI) as the amination source has been disclosed in the absence of any metal, oxidant or additive. The methodology shows a board range of quinazolines with different functional groups in moderate to good yields up to 87 %. Furthermore, gram-scale reaction, desulfonylation to amine and synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediate were also investigated, which demonstrates potential applications in medicinal chemistry. A plausible amination mechanism is proposed via F+ transfer accompanied by the removal of one molecule of PhSO2F. DFT studies with experimental work suggest that the mechanism via F+ transfer is more favorable than the free radical one.

Abstract
An environmentally friendly electrochemical strategy for the synthesis of SCF3-containing oxindoles was developed. This electrochemical transformation was accomplished through a cascade trifluoromethylthiolation/cyclization of N-acrylamides with AgSCF3, obviating the requirement for external oxidants. A variety of functional groups were well tolerated in this transformation.

Abstract
In this paper, a rhodium-catalyzed regioselective reaction of 2,4-diarylquinazolines with allylic acetate is described, leading to allylated quinazoline derivatives with high efficiency and good tolerance of functional groups. By switching to 2-arylquinazolin-4-ones, tandem C–H activation and aza-Michael addition are involved, leading to 1,6-dimethyl-5H-isoquinolino[1,2-b]quinazolin-8(6H)-one derivatives with high efficiency.

Abstract
A one-pot cyanation of 2,4-arylquinazoline with NIS and malononitrile has been developed. The one-pot reaction includes two steps. The Rh-catalyzed selective C-H activation/iodization of 2,4-diarylquinazoline with NIS, and then Cu-catalyzed cyanation of the corresponding iodinated intermediate with malononitrile to selectively give 2-(2-cyanoaryl)-4-arylquinazolines or 2-(2,6-dicyanoaryl)-4-arylquinazolines in good to excellent yields.
