Abstract
A visible-light-enabled photoredox radical cascade cyclization of 2-vinyl benzimidazole derivatives is developed. This chemistry is applicable to a wide range of N-aroyl 2-vinyl benzimidazoles as acceptors, and halo compounds, including alkyl halides, acyl chlorides and sulfonyl chlorides, as radical precursors. The Langlois reagent also serves as an effective partner in this photocatalytic oxidative cascade process. This protocol provides a robust alternative for rendering highly functionalized benzo[4,5]imidazo[1,2-b]isoquinolin-11(6H)-ones.

Abstract
The regioselective addition of sulfur and amine nucleophiles to a -CBr3 unit and nitromethyl moiety in a molecule with the installation of a five-diverse bond structure to novel isothiazole-5(2H)-thione is demonstrated. Umpolung of the nitromethyl group leads to a novel scaffold with selective C-N bond formation. Consequently, differentiating reactive centers by sulfur and amine nucleophiles has been proposed to create unique S-N bonds in conjunction with the dithioate (S═C-S-) moiety. This protocol allows for exploration of the -CBr3 moiety as a synthetic equivalent of the dithioate (S═C-S-) unit during the reaction.

Abstract
By revealing the robust photooxidant properties of phenalenyl-based organic Lewis acid, we have introduced this moiety as an effective organophotocatalyst for the oxidative azolation of unactivated and feedstock arenes. In addition to its tolerance for various functional groups and scalability, this photocatalyst was shown to be promising for the defluorinative azolation of fluoroarenes.

Abstract
The photoredox amination of arene protocols mostly comprises photocatalyst-mediated transformations. Herein, we presented the photocatalyst-free, visible-light promoted, direct conversion of C(sp2)-H to C(sp2)-N method. Multipurpose benzothiadiazoles are used as model synthons and secondary amines as aminating agents. Mechanistic study reveals that the radical reaction mechanism proceeds through nitrogen-centered radical generation, followed by the addition of arenes, which was demonstrated for the present amination protocol of benzothiadiazole with secondary amines in an atom economical fashion.

Abstract
A visible-light-induced persulfate-promoted cascade phosphorylation/cyclization reaction to access various phosphorylated pyrrolo[1,2-a]indolediones under mild conditions was developed. Notably, the transformation was carried out with diethyl carbonate/H2O as a green medium at room temperature. More impressively, traditional metal catalysts and photocatalysts could be effectively avoided. The reactions are simple to operate, easy to scale up, and have good functional group tolerance.

Abstract
A synthetically beneficial visible-light-mediated protocol has been disclosed to achieve C-H amination of readily available feedstocks cyclic and acyclic ethers. A rarely identified N-bromosuccinamide-tetrahydrofuran electron donor-acceptor complex served as an initiator to functionalize both α-diazoketones and dialkyl azodicarboxylates. This developed methodology gives an alternative and milder way to construct the C-N bond and can be explored for the formation of C-C bond to perform arylation and allylation reactions.
