Abstract
Alkali metal dihydrogen-antimonides [M(L)x SbH2 ], short: alkali metal antimonides (M=Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs; 1: L=pmdta; 2: L=crown-ether), were prepared from stibine and n-Butyllithium, M(hmds) (hmds=hexamethyldisilazane) or MOtBu, respectively. We developed a generally applicable synthesis route for these compounds and the obtained compounds were examined on their stability depending on the alkali metal and stabilizing additives used, whereby the use of appropriate crown-ethers allowed their isolation and characterization at room temperature. Moreover, the 1,4-dioxane adduct [Na(dioxane)x SbH2 ] was the appropriate starting compound for the synthesis of the first primary silylstibane (Me3 Si)3 SiSbH2 (3) which was characterized by NMR and IR spectroscopy. Reaction of 3 with (Dipp2 NacNac)Ga (Dipp2 NacNac=HC{C(Me)N(Dipp)}2 ; Dipp=2,6-iPr2 C6 H3 ) resulted in the formation of (Dipp2 NacNac)GaH(SbHSi(SiMe3 )3 ) (4) which was furthermore characterized by single crystal x-ray diffraction.

Abstract
Heteroatomic bridged paracyclophanes were obtained by two independent synthetic approaches. The required precursors consist of para R2SiCl (R = Me, iPr) substituted aromatic rings (2 and 4). They were subsequently functionalised by using NH3, [LiPH2(dme)] or LiAl(PH2)4. In the case of the Me-substituted species 2, the reaction with NH3 directly yielded the Si2N bridged paracyclophane 5. The Si2P incorporated derivative 10 was obtained by lithiation of p-C6H4(SiiPr2PH2)2 (9) and subsequent salt metathesis with the chlorosilane 4. The second approach involves the use of GaEt3 in the formation of four membered (GaPn)2 cycles (Pn = N, P). p-[C6H4{SiiPr2N(H)GaEt2}2]2 (11) and p-[C6H4{SiiPr2P(H)GaEt2}2]2 (12) represent the first examples of stable (GaPn)2cis isomers as the trans species did not appear in solution. Although 11 and 12 show a similar coordination pattern, they differ in the orientation of the aromatic systems: in the solid structure, 11 adopts a - for paracyclophanes so far unique - T-shape conformation of the phenyl rings, while 12 shows the predominant coplanar orientation. All cyclophanes were characterized by X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, NMR and IR spectroscopy.

Abstract
The reaction between prestabilized group 13 metal hydrides and primary silylphosphines lead to the formation of rare, butterfly-like folded, four membered rings including free lone pairs on the phosphorus atoms, wherein the Lewis base can readily be substituted by N-heterocyclic carbenes.

Abstract
Whereas methylammonium chloride, [MeNH(3)]Cl, reacts with LiGaH(4) in an ether solution to give, according to the conditions, either the adduct MeH(2)N x GaH(3) or the cationic derivative [(MeH(2)N)(2)GaH(2)](+)Cl(-), the corresponding reaction of [MeNH(3)]Cl or [(t)BuNH(3)]Cl with LiAlH(4) proceeds mainly, with H(2) elimination, to the imidoalane Li(2)[(RN)(4)(AlH(2))(6)] (R = Me, 1, or (t)Bu, 2). The crystal structure of 1 x 2Et(2)O reveals, for the first time, anionic units with an adamantane-like Al(6)N(4) skeleton. The Li cations exist at two distinct sites, each linked via Li(mu-H)Al bridges to two [(MeN)(4)(AlH(2))(6)](2-) cages. Despite disordering of the tBu groups, the crystal structure of 2 evidently includes analogous anionic units. By contrast, the main product of the reaction between [(i)PrNH(3)]Cl and LiAlH(4) under similar conditions is the known neutral, hexameric imidoalane [(i)PrNAlH](6), 3, the crystal structure of which has been redetermined.
