Abstract
A tandem allylic amination/oxa-Michael addition of vinyl methylene cyclic carbonates (VMCCs) has been developed to construct heterocycles by single palladium catalysis or palladium-organo relay catalysis. In this process, the bisnucleophiles first underwent regioselective allylic amination, and then the second nucleophilic group further completed the hetero-Michael addition reaction to form a series of heterocycles. Among them, the chiral 3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[b][1,4]oxazines could be produced in medium to high yield with good enantioselectivity under a palladium-organo relay catalysis.

Abstract
5,6-Dihydrophenanthridines are common aza heterocycle frameworks of natural products and pharmaceuticals. Herein, we reported the first palladium-catalyzed intramolecular C−H/C−H dehydrogenative coupling reaction of two simple arenes to generate 5,6-dihydrophenanthridines. The approach features a broad substrate scope and good tolerance of functional groups, offering an efficient alternative synthesis route for important 5,6-dihydrophenanthridine compounds.

Abstract
A photocatalytic xanthate-based radical addition/cyclization reaction cascade toward 2-biphenylisocyanides is described as a practical and modular approach to 6-alkylated phenanthridines. The use of xanthates as radical precursors allowed the synthesis of diversely 6-substituted phenanthridines. Electrophilic radicals derived from nitriles, aromatic and aliphatic ketones, malonates, and amide derivatives, as well as radicals derived from phthalimidomethyl and benzylic derivatives were successfully introduced. The reaction proceeds under mild conditions without a stoichiometric amount of oxidant. Thirty novel phenanthridine scaffolds were synthesized with yields ranging from 24 to 76%.

Abstract
A palladium-catalyzed 4-fold domino reaction consisting of two carbopalladation reactions and two C-H activation reactions, followed by the introduction of an acrylate moiety, led to the tetra-substituted helical alkene A2, using the dialkyne A3 as a substrate. The alkene was copolymerized with butyl acrylate by using the reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization (RAFT) to give the desired polymeric switch A1.

Abstract
The preparation of the title compound, C26H25N, was achieved by the condensation of an ethano-lic mixture of benzaldehyde, cyclo-hexa-none and ammonium acetate in a 2:1:1 molar ratio. There are two crystallographically independent mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit. The two cyclo-hexyl rings adopt an anti-envelope conformation with the benzyl moiety adopting a cis conformation with respect to the nitro-gen atom of the phenanthridine segment. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked through C-H⋯N inter-actions into hydrogen-bonded chains that are further arranged into distinct layers by weak offset π-π inter-actions.

Abstract
