Abstract
Herein, we present a Ni-catalyzed direct cross-coupling of heteroaromatic thioethers with aryl iodides via selective C(sp2)-S bond cleavage under reductive conditions, thereby providing various biaryl frameworks with high efficiency. Mechanistic studies suggested Mo(CO)6 played a crucial role in facilitating the activation of the C(sp2)-S bond. This protocol demonstrated a wide substrate scope, operational simplicity, and good functional group compatibility. Furthermore, the utility of this reaction was highlighted by facile scale-up and sequential modification of heteroaryl frameworks.

Abstract
A general, efficient and practical protocol for Ts2O promoted deoxygenative dithiocarbamation of quinoline N-oxides with in situ generated dithiocarbamic acids from CS2 and amines is reported. The reaction proceeded well under transition-metal free conditions to obtain a variety of novel quinoline-dithiocarbamate compounds with wide functional group tolerance and good to high yields.

Abstract
A method for the selective construction of S-N/C(sp2)-S bonds using N-substituted O-thiocarbamates and indoles as substrates is reported. This protocol features good atom utilization, mild conditions, short reaction time, and wide substrate scope, which can provide a convenient path for the functionalization of indoles. In addition, the reaction could be scaled up on gram scale, showing potential application value in industry synthesis.

Abstract
Symmetrical diaryl sulfides and diaryl disulfides have been efficiently and selectively constructed via the homocoupling of sodium arenesulfinates. The selectivity of products relied on the different reaction systems: symmetrical diaryl sulfides were predominately obtained under the Pd(OAc)2 catalysis, whereas symmetrical diaryl sulfides were exclusively yielded in the presence of the reductive Fe/HCl system.

Abstract
A highly efficient synthetic method for the preparation of 2-aminobenzothiazoles starting from arylthioureas has been reported. By using a nickel catalyst, arylthioureas undergo intramolecular oxidative C-H bond functionalization, giving the desired 2-aminobenzothiazoles in good to excellent yields. This protocol features an inexpensive catalyst, low catalyst loading, mild reaction conditions, a short reaction time, and good to excellent yields, and it can be scaled up easily to a gram scale with almost no yields decreasing.

Abstract
An efficient method for the synthesis of unsymmetrical diaryl sulfides has been developed by the C-S cross coupling of aryldithiocarbamates and aryldiazonium salts in the presence of CuI-2,2'-bipyridine and Zn. Aryldithiocarbamate compounds have been used here as thiol substitutes. The protocol shows wide substrate scope and good yields of the products.

Abstract
(Hetero)aryl, benzylic, and alkyl zinc halides were thiolated with N-thiophthalimides at 25 °C within 1 h in the presence of 5-10 % Cu(OAc)2 ⋅H2 O to furnish the corresponding polyfunctionalized thioethers in good yields. This electrophilic thiolation was extended to the introduction of trifluoromethylthio (SCF3 ), thiocyanate (SCN), and selenophenyl (SePh) groups. The utility of this method was shown in a seven-step synthesis of a potent cathepsin D inhibitor in 34 % overall yield.

Abstract
Due to the versatile applications of thioethers and thioesters in organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, the pharmaceutical industry, and materials science, recently the construction of C-S bonds has emerged as the forefront in the field of cross-coupling reactions. Enough progress has been made in this direction by using both metal catalysis and other alternative processes. A brief review of the recent developments in the area of C-S coupling reaction is described.
