Abstract
This work presents 4 open source potentiostat solutions for performing accurate measurements in cyclic voltammetry and square wave voltammetry at a low price. A very simple and easy to reproduce analogic board (c.a. 10 €) was driven either by a Teensy card from the company PJRC under an Arduino/Python software solution (39 €) or by an Analog Discovery 2 device from Digilent (less than 300 €). A smartphone Bluetooth Android interface was also created to circumvent the use of a computer. We demonstrated that our scheme is suitable for measurements in classical electrochemical conditions but also to carry out experiments with ultramicroelectrodes. We could thus reach a noise resolution of less than 1 pA. Scan rates of 8000 Vs-1 with ohmic drop compensation were also achieved. The device is suitable for teaching purposes but also for experiments in a participative science context on the ground, or countries with lower financial possibilities.

Abstract
Some electrodes for efficient detection of paracetamol and dopamine were developed from nano sized material of cobalt ferrite (np-CoFe2O4) and manganese ferrite (np-MnFe2O4). These oxides were synthesized by combustion method using cobalt nitrate, manganese acetate and ferric nitrate as precursors in the presence of sugar and ethanolamine. The crystallite size, shape and morphology of nano material were characterized by X-ray diffraction pattern (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) techniques. The crystallite sizes of synthesized nano-particles (nps) were in the range from 10 to 12 nm (calculated using Debye-Scherrer equation) with cubic crystal system. These particles were utilized as electrode modified with graphite for simultaneous detection of paracetamol and dopamine through cyclic voltammetry and Differential pulse voltammetry techniques and was found to be superior to reported literatures. The minimum detection limit of paracetamol and dopamine at CoFe2O4/GP electrode were 250 nM and 350 nM while at MnFe2O4/GP electrode it was 300 nM and 400 nM, respectively. Both the electrodes exhibited the linearity range from3 μM to 200 μM & 3 μM-160 μM for paracetamol and 3 μM-180 μM & 5 μM to 200 for dopamine, respectively. Two oxidation peaks of paracetamol and dopamine were well separated in phosphate buffer (pH = 6) in mixture with 100 mVs-1 and 50 mVs-1 scan rate for cyclic voltammetry and Differential pulse voltammetry, respectively. Both the electrodes demonstrated satisfactory results in real samples of paracetamol and dopamine.

Abstract
Acetaminophen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used as an antipyretic agent for the alternative to aspirin. Conversely, the overdoses of acetaminophen can cause hepatic toxicity and kidney damage. Hence, the determination of acetaminophen receives much more attention in biological samples and also in pharmaceutical formulations. Here, we report a rapid and sensitive detection of the acetaminophen based on the bare (unmodified) screen printed carbon electrode (BSPCE) and its electrochemistry was studied in various pHs. From the observed results, the mechanism of the electro-oxidation of acetaminophen was derived for various pHs. The acetaminophen is not stable in strong acidic and strong alkaline media, which is hydrolyzed and hydroxylated. However, it is stable in intermediate pHs due to the dimerization of acetaminophen. The kinetics of the acetaminophen oxidation was briefly studied and documented in the schemes. In addition, the surface morphology and disorders of BSPCE was probed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Raman spectroscopy. Moreover, the BSPCE determined the acetaminophen with the linear concentration ranging from 0.05 to 190μM and the lower detection limit of 0.013μM. Besides that it reveals the good recoveries towards the pharmaceutical samples and shows the excellent selectivity, sensitivity and stability. To the best of our knowledge, this is the better performance compare to the previously reported unmodified acetaminophen sensors.
