Abstract
A three-component reaction for the synthesis of novel 3-heteroaryl-coumarin utilizing acetylcoumarin synthon under ultrasonic irradiation was developed using chitosan-grafted poly(vinylpyridine) as an eco-friendly catalyst. The process is a simple, facile, efficient procedure for the preparation of compounds displaying a thiazole ring linked to coumarin moiety. Moreover, all the products were evaluated for their anticancer activities against HEPG2-1. The results revealed that three new compounds showed promising anticancer activities.

Abstract
In this study, a series of synthesized 3-(4-substituted benzyl)-5-isopropyl-5-phenylhydantoin derivatives as a potential antiproliferative and antimigratory agents were investigated. The possible antitumor mechanisms of investigated hydantoin derivatives were examined on human breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231. The cells were treated with different concentrations of compounds (from 0.01 µM to 100 µM) during 24 h and 72 h. The proliferation index, nitric oxide production, apoptosis rate, and migration capacity were measured. The cell invasion potential was examined by measuring the level of MMP-9 and COX-2 gene expression. All tested compounds expressed antiproliferative activity and induced dose- and time-dependent increase in the level of nitrites. The investigated molecules significantly decreased cell survival rate, migration capacity and the expression levels of genes included in the process of tumor invasion. Obtained data suggest that the tested hydantoin derivatives express considerable antitumor activity by reducing cell division rate, elevating apoptosis level, and inhibiting the motility and invasiveness of breast cancer cells. The results obtained in this study indicate that investigated compounds express potential as a novel chemotherapeutic agents against breast cancer growth and progression.

Abstract
Pyrazole is a five-membered aromatic heterocyclic ring with two adjacent nitrogen atoms C3H3N2H.The presence of this nucleus in pharmacological agents of various therapeutic categories gifts a broad spectrum of biological activities and pharmaceuticals that contain pyrazole like celecoxib (anti-inflammatory), CDPPB (antipsychotic), Rimonabant (anti-obesity), Difenamizole, (Analgesic), Betazole (H2 receptor agonist), Fezolamide (Antidepressant), etc… The pharmacological potential of the pyrazole fraction is proved in many publication where they synthesized and evaluated pyrazoles against several biological agents. The aim of this article review is to survey recent works linking pyrazole structures to anticancer activities corresponding to 9 different type of cancer.

Abstract
The present work reports the preparation of twelve new heterocyclic scaffolds containing an antipyrinyl-thiazole hybrid through the reaction of 4-antipyrinyl-2-chloroacetamido-thiazoles 1 and 6 with various types of nucleophiles, namely; ethyl thioglycolate, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole, 2-mercaptobenzoxazole, ammonium thiocyanate, malononitrile, and salicylaldehyde. The constructed compounds were characterized by conventional spectroscopic techniques (IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass analysis). A DFT method (material studio package) was used to predict the geometry, bond lengths, bond angles, and dipole moments as well as other global chemical reactivities of the constructed antipyrinyl-thiazole compounds. Also, their semi-core pseudopods calculations (dspp) were carried out with DNP (double numerical basis sets plus polarization functional) to predict the properties of materials. In addition, the antioxidant activity of these antipyrinyl-thiazole scaffolds has been screened by the ABTS method. The results indicated that 2-(4-antipyrinylthiazolylamino)-5-substituitedbenzylidene-thiazol-4(5H)-ones 10b and 10c exhibited the best antioxidant activity with a percentage inhibition of 85.74% and 83.51%, respectively.
