Abstract
This study reports the electrochemical monitoring and sensing of diphenylamine (DPA), an anti-scald agent on a modified pencil graphite electrode (PGE). DPA is also a potentially toxic environmental pollutant. A polymer of tyrosine synthesized by electrochemical process was utilized for the determination of DPA in real samples. The electrodes were characterized using IR, SEM, EDAX, AFM and EIS analyses. As far as we know, this is first time reporting the utilization of modified PGE via green approach for the monitoring of DPA. A dynamic linear range of 1.00-117.11 µM with a lower detection limit (LOD) of 0.7050 µM was showed by this sensor for the electrochemical quantification of DPA. The electrochemical oxidation of DPA on the modified sensor followed a mixed adsorption -diffusion controlled kinetics. The sensor also showed good anti-interference property for the determination of DPA in real samples. Furthermore, the developed sensor was applied for the selective sensing of DPA from real apple extracts with good recovery. The real sample analysis was validated with standard spectrophotometric method.

Abstract
The present study involves detecting and determining CIP by a new electrochemical sensor based on graphene (Gr) in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) employing voltammetric techniques. Surface morphology studies of the sensing material were analyzed using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) and atomic force microscope (AFM). In the electroanalysis of CIP at the developed electrode, an enhanced anodic peak response was recorded, suggesting the electro-oxidation of CIP at the electrode surface. Furthermore, we evaluated the impact of the electrolytic solution, scan rate, accumulation time, and concentration variation on the electrochemical behavior of CIP. The possible electrode mechanism was proposed based on the acquired experimental information. A concentration variation study was performed using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) in the lower concentration range, and the fabricated electrode achieved a detection limit of 2.9 × 10-8 M. The proposed sensor detected CIP in pharmaceutical and biological samples. The findings displayed good recovery, with 93.8% for tablet analysis and 93.3% to 98.7% for urine analysis. The stability of a developed electrode was tested by inter- and intraday analysis.

Abstract
Herein, the Cu2O yolk-shell nanospheres, nanocubes and microcubes were successfully prepared by a simple seed-medium process. The formation of the Cu2O yolk-shell nanospheres can be attributed to the self-assembly process caused by the introduction of the seed medium. The formation mechanism of our obtained Cu2O yolk-shell nanospheres and the dependence of Cu2O morphology on different surfactants have been studied. The obtained samples were applied in the field of non-enzymatic glucose detection. The electrochemical response characteristics of the modified electrodes toward glucose were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and chronoamperometry (CA). The electrode modified with C-Cu2O (obtained by using CTAB as surfactant) shared the highest sensitivity of 3123 μAmM-1 cm-2, whereas, the electrode modified with S-Cu2O (obtained by using SDBS as surfactant) exhibited the lowest LOD of 0.87 μM and the widest linear range of 0.05-10.65 mM. All obtained sensors showed fast response to the addition of glucose. The obtained electrodes showed better responses to glucose than other coexisting interferences, indicating that the obtained electrodes had the acceptable selectivity to glucose. In addition, the stability for 5 consecutive weeks had also been studied and exhibited satisfactory results. The obtained electrode was also used to detect the glucose content in real serum. The acceptable selectivity, stability together with the excellent sensing ability in real serum make the obtained electrodes a potential for practical applications.

Abstract
Electrochemical sensors appear as low-cost, rapid, easy to use, and in situ devices for determination of diverse analytes in a liquid solution. In that context, conducting polymers are much-explored sensor building materials because of their semiconductivity, structural versatility, multiple synthetic pathways, and stability in environmental conditions. In this state-of-the-art review, synthetic processes, morphological characterization, and nanostructure formation are analyzed for relevant literature about electrochemical sensors based on conducting polymers for the determination of molecules that (i) have a fundamental role in the human body function regulation, and (ii) are considered as water emergent pollutants. Special focus is put on the different types of micro- and nanostructures generated for the polymer itself or the combination with different materials in a composite, and how the rough morphology of the conducting polymers based electrochemical sensors affect their limit of detection. Polypyrroles, polyanilines, and polythiophenes appear as the most recurrent conducting polymers for the construction of electrochemical sensors. These conducting polymers are usually built starting from bifunctional precursor monomers resulting in linear and branched polymer structures; however, opportunities for sensitivity enhancement in electrochemical sensors have been recently reported by using conjugated microporous polymers synthesized from multifunctional monomers.

Abstract
An electrochemical sensor, based on a graphene paste electrode (GPE), was modified with a polymerization method, and the electrochemical behavior of catechol (CC) and hydroquinone (HQ) was investigated using electroanalytical methods like cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The effect of CC at the modified electrode was evidenced by the positive shift of the oxidation peak potential of CC at the poly (rosaniline)-modified graphene paste electrode (PRAMGPE) and the nine-fold enhancement of the peak current, as compared to a bare graphene paste electrode (BGPE). The sensitivity of CC investigated by DPV was more sensitive than CV for the analysis of CC. The DPV method showed the two linear ranges of 2.0 × 10−6–1.0 × 10−5 M and 1.5 × 10−5–5 × 10−5 M. The detection limit and limit of quantification were determined to be 8.2 × 10−7 and 27.6 × 10−7 M, respectively. The obtained results were compared successfully with respect to those obtained using the official method. Moreover, this sensor is applied for the selective determination of CC in the presence of HQ. The high sensitivity, good reproducibility, and wide linear range make the modified electrode suitable for the determination of CC in real samples. The practical application of the sensor was demonstrated by determining the concentration of CC in water samples with acceptable recoveries (97.5–98%).
