Efficient synthesis of 3-alkyl-2-(-1H-1,2,3-triazolyl)methyl)thio)-2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one derivative via multistep synthesis approach by novel Cu@Py-Oxa@SPION catalyst. BMC Chem 2023; 17:154. Abstract
In this pared, an efficient method is introduced for the synthesis of 3-alkyl-2-(((4-(2-oxopropyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)alkyl)thio)-2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one derivatives. These novel products have both 1,2,3-triazole and quinazolinone in their structures. For the synthesis of these products, a novel catalyst is designed, synthesized, and characterized by the immobilization of copper onto modified magnetic iron oxide. The catalyst (denoted: Cu@Py-Oxa@SPION) was characterized by several characterization techniques. In this regard, 16 3-alkyl-2-(((4-(2-oxopropyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)alkyl)thio)-2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one derivatives were synthesized in high isolated yields (77-86%). As an advantage, the catalyst is highly recoverable and its activity has not decreased after 7 sequential runs. The method is very efficient for the synthesis of the products in high isolated yields under mild reaction conditions in a green solvent. The scope of the method is broad and several examples were successfully synthesized using starting materials with different functional groups.

Abstract
Herein, we report the synthesis and characterization of chrysoidine (4-phenylazo-m-phenylenediamine) grafted on magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4@SiO2@CPTMS@PhAzPhDA = FeSiPAPDA) as a novel and versatile adsorbent used for the satisfactory removal of Pb, Ni, and Cd ions from contaminated water via the formation of their complexes. The Freundlich, Langmuir, Temkin, and Redlich-Patterson isotherm models were studied to reveal the adsorption capability of the adsorbent and were found out that the Langmuir model is more compatible with the nano-adsorbent behavior. Moreover, according to the ICP tests as well as based on the Langmuir isotherm, the maximum adsorption capacity of the FeSiPAPDA-based adsorbent for the Pb ions (97.58) is more than that of Cd (78.59) and Ni ions (64.03).

Abstract
An efficient and heterogeneous novel magnetic solid sulfuric acid, immobilized on silica functionalized SnFe2O4, was successfully synthesized, characterized, and employed as a novel recoverable nanocatalyst for the synthesis of biologically active polyhydroquinoline derivatives. The SnFe2O4@SiO2-SO3H was easily synthesized and confirmed using various spectroscopic techniques, including FT-IR, XRD, EDX, Map, TGA, SEM and TEM analyses. The catalytic behavior of the resulting catalyst system was investigated in the Hantzsch synthesis of polyhydroquinoline derivatives. The desired products were obtained with high conversions and excellent reusability.

Abstract
An efficient, green, one-pot, and three-component protocol has been reported for the stereoselective synthesis of a new class of spiro thiazolidines. A series of spiro-heterocycle derivatives were produced stereoselectively in high yields by the reaction of 5-arylidene thiazolidine-2,4-diones, isatin, and secondary amino acids in the presence of MnCoCuFe2O4@l-proline (MCCFe2O4@l-proline) magnetic nanorods as a novel nanocatalyst. The synthesized catalyst was fully characterized for thermal stability, magnetic properties, and other physicochemical properties via numerous techniques. It was applied as an efficient and reusable catalyst for the synthesis of endo-isomers of spirocyclic pyrrolidine/pyrrolizidine/pyrrolothiazolidine derivatives in high yield. The regioselectivity and stereochemistry of these heterocyclic spiro-compounds were established by 1H, 13C, HMBC, HSQC, and COSY NMR spectroscopy techniques. The main attractive characteristics of the presented protocol are high yield, high level of diastereoselectivity, and easy recovery of catalyst without significant loss of its catalytic activity. An efficient, green, one-pot, and three-component protocol has been reported for the stereoselective synthesis of a new class of spiro thiazolidines.![]()
