Abstract
The Arcobacteraceae bacterial family includes species isolated from animals and related food products. Moreover, these species have been found in other ecological niches, including water. Some species, particularly Arcobacter butzleri and Arcobacter cryaerophilus, have been isolated from human clinical cases and linked to gastrointestinal symptoms. The presence of antibiotic-resistant strains is a concern for public health, considering the possible zoonoses and foodborne infections caused by contaminated food containing bacteria resistant to antibiotic treatments. This review aims to highlight the importance of antibiotic resistance in Arcobacter spp. isolates from several sources, including information about antibiotic classes to which this bacterium has shown resistance. Arcobacter spp. demonstrated a wide spectrum of antibiotic resistance, including several antibiotic resistance genes. Antibiotic resistance genomic traits include efflux pumps and mutations in antibiotic target proteins. The literature shows a high proportion of Arcobacter spp. that are multidrug-resistant. However, studies in the literature have primarily focused on the evaluation of antibiotic resistance in A. butzleri and A. cryaerophilus, as these species are frequently isolated from various sources. These aspects underline the necessity of studies focused on several Arcobacter species that could potentially be isolated from several sources.

Abstract
Nowadays, it is well-established that the consumption of poultry meat, especially chicken meat products has been drastically increasing. Even though more attentions are being paid to the major foodborne pathogens, it seems that scientists in the area of food safety and public health would prefer tackling the minor food borne zoonotic emerging or reemerging pathogens, namely Helicobacter species. Recently, understanding the novel aspects of zoonotic Enterohepatic Helicobacter species, including pathogenesis, isolation, identification, and genomic features is regarded as a serious challenge. In this regard, considerable attention is given to emerging elusive zoonotic Enterohepatic Helicobacter species, comprising Helicobacter pullorum and Helicobacter canadensis. In conclusion, the current review paper would attempt to elaborately summarize and somewhat compare the etiology, pathogenesis, cultivation process, identification, genotyping, and antimicrobial resistance profile of both H. pullorum and H. Canadensis. Further, H. pullorum has been introduced as the most significant food borne pathogen in chicken meat products.

Abstract
The surge in human arcobacteriosis has increased interest in determining the mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of Arcobacter butzleri. Here, genomic analyses and in vitro Caco-2 infection, motility, urease and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) assays were used to characterise the virulence and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) determinants of strains HC-1, isolated from a patient with travellers' diarrhoea, and HC-2, isolated from another with pruritus. AMR determinants conferring resistance to tetracycline (tetO, present in both genomes) and to ampicillin and amoxicillin-clavulanic acid (bla3, present in HC-2) were identified. The same determinants associated with flagellum, chemotaxis, adhesion and invasion were detected in both, but HC-1 lacked eight flagellar genes. The urease cluster was only present in HC-1. Motility and urease tests confirmed the genetic differences between strains, but no genetic marker related to the inability of HC-2 to adhere and invade was identified. This inability could be conditioning the patient's pathology.

Abstract
Objective Arcobacter butzleri, Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, and Campylobacter jejuni are significant foodborne pathogens regarding the consumption of raw poultry meat. An existing survey was conducted to assess the occurrence of S. aureus, C. jejuni, A. butzleri, and L. monocytogenes in raw poultry meat samples. Materials and Methods Ninety-four raw ostrich, turkey, chicken, and quail meat samples were collected and subjected to culture-based analysis. Staphylococcus aureus, C. jejuni, A. butzleri, and L. monocytogenes isolates were confirmed by standard biochemical techniques. Results The occurrence of A. butzleri, C. jejuni, L. monocytogenes, and S. aureus in poultry meat samples was 11.45%, 17.70%, 1.04%, and 16.66%, respectively. L. monocytogenes was absent in chicken, turkey, and ostrich meat samples. Only one quail meat (4.16%) was positive for L. monocytogenes. The uppermost contamination rate with A. butzleri, C. jejuni, and S. aureus was found in chicken (25%), turkey (25%), and turkey (25%) meat samples, respectively. The concurrent occurrence of A. butzleri + C. jejuni + S. aureus bacteria amid the examined poultry meat samples was 2.08%. Conclusion This is an initial report of A. butzleri, S. aureus, C. jejuni, and L. monocytogenes in poultry meat samples. Adequate cooking of poultry meat can diminish foodborne diseases due to A. butzleri, S. aureus, L. monocytogenes, and C. jejuni bacteria, and these species may constitute a public health problem.

Abstract
Arcobacter spp. has gained clinical significance as an emerging diarrheagenic pathogen associated with water reservoirs in recent years. The complete clinical significance of Arcobacter remains rather speculative due to the virulence and antibiotic susceptibility of individual strains. This study aimed to assess the prevalence of Arcobacter spp. in fish, water, and shellfish. A total of 150 samples were collected from the Adana, Kayseri and Kahramanmaras provinces in Turkey. Arcobacter spp. was isolated from 32 (21%) of the 150 samples. The most prevalent species was A. cryaerophilus, 17 (56%), A. butzleri 13 (37%) and A. lacus 2 (6%). As a result, the ratios of the mviN, irgA, pldA, tlyA and hecA target genes were found as 17 (51%), 1 (3%), 7 (23%), 7 (23%), 1 (3%), respectively. While bla OXA-61, tetO and tetW were positive in all isolates, were found as mcr1/2/6, mcr3/7, and mcr5, genes %37.5, %25, and %34.3, respectively. Although in A. butzleri was found 10 (58%), 1 (3%), 3 (43%), 2 (28%) (mviN, irgA, pldA, and tlyA, respectively) virulence genes 7 (42%), 4 (57%), 5 (72%), 1 (3%) was found (mviN, irgA, tlyA, and hecA, respectively) virulence genes in A. cryoaerophilus. Moreover, was found for the mcr 1/2/6 7 (58%) genes, for the mcr 3/7 genes 3 (38%) in A. butzleri. In A. cryoaerophilus was found for the mcr 1/2/6 genes 5 (42%), for the mcr 3/7 genes 5 (62%), and for the mcr 5 gene 10 (100%). Thus, the current study indicated that the existence of Arcobacter spp. isolated from fish and mussel samples may pose a potential risk to public health.

Abstract
The food safety of livestock is a critical issue between animals and humans due to their complex interactions. Pathogens have the potential to spread at every stage of the animal food handling process, including breeding, processing, packaging, storage, transportation, marketing and consumption. In addition, application of the antibiotic usage in domestic animals is a controversial issue because, while they can combat food-borne zoonotic pathogens and promote animal growth and productivity, they can also lead to the transmission of antibiotic-resistant microorganisms and antibiotic-resistant genes across species and habitats. Coevolution of microbiomes may occur in humans and animals as well which may alter the structure of the human microbiome through animal food consumption. One Health is a holistic approach to systematically understand the complex relationships among humans, animals and environments which may provide effective countermeasures to solve food safety problems aforementioned. This paper depicts the main pathogen spectrum of livestock and animal products, summarizes the flow of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and genes between humans and livestock along the food-chain production, and the correlation of their microbiome is reviewed as well to advocate for deeper interdisciplinary communication and collaboration among researchers in medicine, epidemiology, veterinary medicine and ecology to promote One Health approaches to address the global food safety challenges.
