Abstract
In this work, the role of intermolecular interaction on the aggregation-induced emission (AIE) phenomenon and organic light-emitting diodes' (OLEDs) performance was investigated. During the research, a group of compounds consisting of the (-CH=C(CN)(COOR)) moiety with identical energy parameters was designed using the DFT approach and successfully synthesized. The optical, electrochemical, and aggregation-induced emission properties were studied. The aggregation-induced emission of compounds has been studied in the mixture of MeCN (as a good solvent) and water (as a poor solvent) with different water fractions ranging from 0% to 99%. Moreover, the time dependence on the AIE feature was also evaluated. Thanks to their molecular structures, almost identical behavior of these substances in dilute solutions was observed. For molecules that exhibit the strong AIE phenomenon, emission efficiency increases rapidly during aggregation. What is also very interesting is it has been shown that by introducing an appropriate substituent, one can control the degree of intermolecular interactions and "control" the length of the emitted wave. Finally, OLEDs were fabricated by the spin-coating/evaporation hybrid method. Devices showed green-blueish electroluminescence (CIE coordinates: 0.107, 0.165) with maximum luminance reaching 25 cd m-2 and EQE reaching 2%.

Abstract
A soluble poly(tetrazine) polymer was prepared via Suzuki polycondensation of 3,6-bis(5-bromofuran-2-yl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine and a fluorene diboronate derivative. It can undergo efficient and quantitative post-polymerization inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder click reactions with a variety of trans-cyclooctene (TCO) derivatives. The resulting polymers were oxidized to convert dihydropyridazine rings into pyridazines. The absorption spectra of the product polymers, both before and after oxidation, showed hypsochromic shifts that correlated with steric hindrance of the appended side chains. They also exhibited a significantly enhanced fluorescence intensity relative to the original poly(tetrazine). While gel-permeation chromatography indicated that the product polymers exhibited longer retention times, NMR end-group analysis showed that the polymers retained relatively constant degrees of polymerization. Graft copolymers were easily prepared via reaction with TCO-functionalized poly(ethylene glycol) chains and a cross-linked foam was produced by reacting the poly(tetrazine) with a bis-TCO crosslinker.

Abstract
A set of monodisperse 2,7-linked carbazole oligomers (3-mer, 5-mer, 7-mer, and 9-mer) was synthesized, and their photophysical, electrochemical, and thermal properties were investigated. In solutions, these oligomers exhibited bright blue emission with almost quantitative fluorescence quantum yield. The emission spectra of these oligomers in films are quite different. 3-Mer and 5-mer exhibited featureless emission spectra, whereas 7-mer and 9-mer showed well-resolved emission spectra.

Abstract
World energy needs grow each year. To address global warming and climate changes the search for renewable energy sources with limited greenhouse gas emissions and the development of energy-efficient lighting devices are underway. This Review reports recent progress made in the synthesis and characterization of conjugated polymers based on bridged phenylenes, namely, poly(2,7-fluorene)s, poly(2,7-carbazole)s, and poly(2,7-dibenzosilole)s, for applications in solar cells and white-light-emitting diodes. The main strategies and remaining challenges in the development of reliable and low-cost renewable sources of energy and energy-saving lighting devices are discussed.

Abstract
Conjugated polymers have received a lot of attention, since they combine the best features of metals or semiconductors with those of synthetic polymers. For instance, solar cells based on poly(2,7-carbazole) derivatives have revealed power-conversion efficiencies up to 6%. This class of materials could lead to printable and flexible photovoltaic devices. Moreover, water-soluble luminescent polythiophenes have allowed the specific, rapid, and ultra-sensitive detection of unlabelled DNA, RNA, or proteins. This new optical detection mechanism is based on electrostatic interactions between a cationic polythiophene derivative and negatively charged oligonucleotides. This method makes now possible the rapid assessment of the identity of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), genes, and pathogens without the need for nucleic acid amplification.
