Abstract
Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) has been utilized in the management and care of pediatric patients for nearly 40 years. It has evolved to become an invaluable tool in the assessment of the littlest of hearts for diagnosis, pre-interventional management and follow-up care. Although mentioned in a number of consensus and guidelines documents, an up-to-date, large, stand-alone guidance work for the use of CMR in pediatric congenital 36 and acquired 35 heart disease endorsed by numerous Societies involved in the care of these children is lacking. This guidelines document outlines the use of CMR in this patient population for a significant number of heart lesions in this age group and although admittedly, is not an exhaustive treatment, it does deal with an expansive list of many common clinical issues encountered in daily practice.

Abstract
Over the past decade, cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) has become a mainstream noninvasive imaging tool for assessment of adult and pediatric patients with congenital heart disease. It provides comprehensive anatomic and hemodynamic information that echocardiography and catheterization alone do not provide. Extracardiac anatomy can be delineated with high spatial resolution, intracardiac anatomy can be imaged in multiple planes, and functional assessment can be made accurately and with high reproducibility. In patients with heart failure, CMR provides not only reference standard evaluation of ventricular volumes and function but also information about the possible causes of dysfunction.

Abstract
On 15 October, 2020, Dr. Paul M. Weinberg, a true giant in the field of paediatric cardiology, succumbed to a prolonged illness. Dr. Weinberg had a 43-year career and was described as a pillar of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the spirit of the Division of Cardiology, a cherished and beloved teacher, and an outstanding clinician. His impact on the field and on the careers of his students will be remembered for generations to come.In 2019, Dr. Weinberg wrote for Jefferson Medical School's 50th year reunion memory book: "In the true spirit of Hippocrates, I seek to mentor the next generation as I was mentored by the last, without expectation of reward. I am forever indebted to these educators for all the knowledge they imparted to me and for the wisdom that I acquired under their tutelage." These words are a true reflection of his unassuming dedication to teaching the next generation of paediatric cardiologists. His legacy will continue to live on through these trainees and impact the field for generations to come.

Abstract
Contrast-enhanced MR angiography is one of the greatest achievements brought about by advances in body MRI. The noninvasive evaluation of arteries and veins can obviate heart catheterization, the administration of iodinated contrast, and exposure to ionizing radiation in many patients and spare them the risks associated with these factors. These gains are even more important in children with congenital heart disease, who will have to undergo numerous vascular studies in their lifetimes and are more susceptible to the effects of ionizing radiation. Contrast-enhanced MR angiography provides abundant information for diagnosis and postoperative follow-up in these patients, who reach advanced age thanks to advances in medical and surgical treatment and thus receive more and more imaging studies during their lifetimes. In this review, we analyze the contrast-enhanced MR angiography technique in these patients, the problems and precautions related to the use of gadolinium, the indications for the test, and the relevant imaging findings in patients with congenital heart disease.
