Abstract
We report an ultrasensitive sandwich-type electrochemical immunosensor to detect the breast cancer biomarker CA 15-3. Amine-functionalized composite of reduced graphene oxide and Fe3O4 nanoparticles (MRGO-NH2) was used as an electrochemical sensing platform material to modify the electrodes. The nanocomposite comprising Pt and Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) anchored on multiwalled carbon nanotubes (Pt-Fe3O4-MWCNTs-NH2) was utilized as a pseudoenzymatic signal-amplifying label. Compared to reduced graphene oxide, the composite MRGO-NH2 platform material demonstrated a higher electrochemical signal. In the Pt-Fe3O4-MWCNTs-NH2 label, multiwalled carbon nanotubes provided the substratum to anchor abundant catalytic Pt and Fe3O4 NPs. The nanocomposites were thoroughly characterized using transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. An electroanalytical study and prevalidation of the immunosensor was carried out. The immunosensor exhibited exceptional capabilities in detecting CA 15-3, offering a wider linear range of 0.0005-100 U mL-1 and a lower detection limit of 0.00008 U mL-1. Moreover, the designed immunosensor showed good specificity, reproducibility, and acceptable stability. The sensor was successfully applied to analyze samples from breast cancer patients, yielding reliable results.

Abstract
In this study, a novel tin oxide/nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dot nanocomposite (SnO2-NDGQD) and 1-methyl-3-octylimidazolinium chloride (1M3OICl) ionic liquid amplified carbon paste electrode (CPE) was fabricated as an efficient and fast-response sensor to determine daunorubicin, an anticancer drug. The electrochemical characteristics of daunorubicin at the surface of the 1M3OICl/SnO2-NDGQD/CPE was explored via various voltammetric methods. The high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HR-TEM) images were recorded to examine the morphological structure of the as-synthesized nanocomposites. The 1M3OICl/SnO2-NDGQD/CPE offered a wide linear concentration of 0.001-280.0 μM with a low detection limit of 0.40 nM at the optimized experimental conditions using square wave voltammetric (SWV) method. In a nutshell, the developed electrode illustrated outstanding selectivity in the presence of interfering agents and long-term stability. The1M3OICl/SnO2-NDGQD/CPE was used as new and powerful analytical tool for determination of daunorubicin in real samples with recovery range 98.75%-104.8%.

Abstract
Rising rates of drug abuse and pharmaceutical pollution throughout the world as a consequence of increased drug production and utilization pose a serious risk to public health and to environmental integrity. It is thus critical that reliable analytical approaches to detecting drugs and their metabolites in a range of sample matrices be developed. Recent advances in the design of nanomaterial-based electrochemical sensors and biosensors have enabled promising new approaches to pharmaceutical analysis. In particular, the development of a range of novel metal nanocomposites with enhanced catalytic properties has provided a wealth of opportunities for the design of rapid and reliable platforms for the detection of specific pharmaceutical compounds. The present review provides a comprehensive overview of representative metal nanocomposites with synergistic properties and their recent (2017-2022) application in the context of electrochemical sensing as a means of detecting specific antibiotic, tuberculostatic, analgesic, antineoplastic, antipsychotic, and antihypertensive drugs. In discussing these applications, we further explore a variety of testing-related principles, fabrication approaches, characterization techniques, and parameters associated with the sensitivity and selectivity of these sensor platforms before surveying the future outlook regarding the fabrication of next-generation (bio)sensor platforms for use in pharmaceutical analysis.

Abstract
Based on platinum nanoparticle-embedded raspberry-liked SiO2, a sensitive and selective electrochemical sensor was developed for simultaneous determination of eugenol (EU) and methyleugenol (MEU). Raspberry-liked SiO2 (RL-SiO2) was characterized with open pores on the surface, which can be used as a path for utilizing the inner space fully. So, platinum nanoparticles (Pt NPs) could be embedded in the inner and outer surface of RL-SiO2. As a carrier, RL-SiO2 not only avoided the agglomeration of the Pt NPs but also improved the catalytic performance. Therefore, the prepared Pt NPs@RL-SiO2/GCE exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity for simultaneous determination of EU and MEU; the linearity ranges were 0.50 ~ 60 μmol/L for EU at a working potential of 0.65 V (vs. saturated calomel electrode) and 0.50 ~ 50 μmol/L for MEU at a working potential of 1.10 V; the detection limits were 0.12 μmol/L and 0.16 μmol/L (S/N=3); and the relative standard deviations (RSDs) were 3.2% and 4.5%, respectively. In addition, Pt NPs@RL-SiO2/GCE was successfully applied to the analysis of fish samples; the obtained recoveries were between 92.0 and 107%. Notably, the results conducted on samples were highly consistent with those obtained from high-performance liquid chromatography. It can be concluded that the study provided a simple method for simultaneous electrochemical determination of EU and MEU in fish samples. Schematic illustration of the preparation of RL-SiO2@Pt NPs/GCE for simultaneous determination of eugenol and methyleugenol in fish samples.
