Abstract
Metal-organic frameworks were prepared from Fe-containing waste liquid generated during the refining process of nickel metallurgical slag as a metal source, providing a green treatment method for industrial waste liquid. The Fe-containing waste liquid was used as a raw material for the coordination synthesis of MIL-100(Fe) with 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid, whereas the ionic liquid-modified magnetic porous carbon material (Fe3O4@C/[BMIM]PF6) was prepared by loading [BMIM]PF6 into the pore size of Fe3O4@C obtained by carbonization derivatization. Since Fe3O4@C/[BMIM]PF6 exhibits strong hydrophobicity and contains unsaturated functional groups as well as hydrogen bond acceptors in structure, and a large pore size, it was used as a highly efficient adsorbent for the extraction of trace pyrethroid insecticides in the environment. Fe3O4@C/[BMIM]PF6 demonstrated excellent extraction ability, and the recoveries of the four pyrethroid insecticides in the actual samples analyzed ranged from 85.75 to 112.13%. Fe3O4@C/[BMIM]PF6 has excellent reusability and batch-to-batch reproducibility, and the relative standard deviations for the extraction recoveries of pyrethroids insecticides from the five batches were 2.14%-3.65%. The MIL-100(Fe) synthesized from high-volume preparation experiments exhibited excellent physical/chemical properties. Therefore, the green prepared Fe3O4@C/[BMIM]PF6 based on waste liquid has excellent extraction properties, and the study provides a green and low-energy treatment method for waste liquids generated by metallurgy.

Abstract
In this work, a novel fluorinated magnetic microporous organic network (Fe3O4@FMON) was exquisitely designed and synthesized for highly efficient and selective magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) of fluorinated benzoylurea insecticides (BUs) from complex tea beverage samples. The Fe3O4@FMON exhibited good extraction for BUs via the pre-designed hydrophobic, π-π stacking, hydrogen bonding and specific FF interactions. A sensitive Fe3O4@FMON-based MSPE-HPLC-UV method with wide linear range (0.10-1000 μg L-1, R2 ≥ 0.996), low limits of detection (0.01-0.02 μg L-1), and large enrichment factors (85.6-98.0) for BUs from tea beverage samples was developed. By decorating F elements within MON's networks, the Fe3O4@FMON characterized good hydrophobicity and chemical stability, which could be reused at least 8 times without decrease of recoveries. This work demonstrated the great prospects of Fe3O4@FMON for enriching trace BUs from complex substrates and triggered the potential of FMON for sample pretreatment of fluorinated analytes.

Abstract
The high speed enrichment of benzoylurea insecticides (BUs) in complex matrices is an essential and challenging step. The present study focuses on the synthesis of a hierarchical pore nitrogen-doped carbon material for magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) of BUs. This material was prepared through the carbonization of a composite material ZIF-67@MCA which assembly with hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks (melamine-cyanurate, MCA) and zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF-67) at room temperature. The optimal adsorption effect is achieved when the mass ratio of ZIF-67 to MCA is 1/3, and the carbonization was performed at 600 °C, the such obtained carbon material was denoted as 1/3ZIF-67@MCA-DCs-600. The material was characterized with various physical methods including X-ray diffractometry (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscope (SEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), water contact angle measurement, Raman spectrometry. 1/3ZIF-67@MCA-DCs-600 exhibits a macro-mesoporous 3D structure with a high degree of nitrogen doping and relatively large specific surface area, making it suitable for magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE). The adsorption of BUs with concentration of 100 ng mL-1 can reach equilibrium within 5 s. The interaction between BUs and the adsorbent, facilitated by π-π stacking, hydrophobic interactions, hydrogen bonding forces, as well as the material's porosity, enables efficient extraction recoveries ranging from 45 % to 92 %. The enrichment of BUs was achieved through the establishment of an MSPE method under optimized conditions, which was further coupled with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for the determination of the four BUs. The linear range spans from 5 ng ml-1 to 1000 ng ml-1 with the correlation coefficient (R2) of ≥ 0.99, Meanwhile, the detection limit for these four BUs falls within the range of 0.01 to 0.10 ng ml-1. The material exhibits good reusability and can be reused for at least 5 cycles. Inter day and intra-day precision ranges from 2.1-7.9 % and 1.0-5.4 %, respectively. The method demonstrates a high level of reliability in practical applications for the determination of BUs.

Methyltrimethoxysilane modified tin dioxide microspheres with hydrophobic networks and abundant adsorbed oxygen for efficient solid-phase microextraction of polychlorinated biphenyls. Abstract
Methyltrimethoxysilane (MTMS) modified tin dioxide microspheres (MTMS/SnO2) were prepared by a facile hydrothermal method and heated reflux reaction strategy. The characterization results indicate that the modification of MTMS induced the formation of a hydrophobic network within the composites, while maintaining abundant adsorbed oxygen species. Subsequently, the MTMS/SnO2 microspheres were used as a solid-phase microextraction (SPME) coating for the efficient extraction and sensitive determination of trace polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in aqueous solutions coupled to gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. MTMS/SnO2 coating exhibited superior extraction performances for PCBs compared with commercial SPME and pure SnO2 microspheres coatings, owing to the hydrophobic crosslinking and adsorbed oxygen-enhanced hydrogen bonding. The proposed analytical method presented respectable linearity in the concentration range 0.25-1000 ng L-1, with low limits of detection varying from 0.036 to 0.14 ng L-1 for seven PCBs and excellent precision, with relative standard deviations of 5.7-9.8% for a single fiber and 8.2-13.1% for five fibers. Finally, the proposed method was successfully used for determination of PCBs in real water with recoveries ranging from 75.8 to 115.6%. This study proposed a new type SPME coating of MTMS/SnO2 microspheres, which extended the potential of SnO2 in capturing and determining organic pollutants.

Abstract
The zirconium metal-organic framework UiO-66-NH2 has garnered considerable attention for their potentials of removing environmental contaminants from water. The production and application of UiO-66-NH2 make their releases into the aquatic environment inevitable. Nevertheless, little information is available regarding its potential risk to the environment and aquatic organisms, thus limiting the evaluation of its safe and sustainable use. In this study, the ecotoxicity of UiO-66-NH2 was evaluated, specifically its impacts on growth, extracellular organic matter release, and metabolomic changes of the model phytoplankton Microcystis aeruginosa (M. aeruginosa). UiO-66-NH2 exhibited moderate effects on algal physiology including growth, viability, and photosynthetic system. At concentrations below 20 mg/L, UiO-66-NH2 induced negligible inhibition of algal growth, algal viability, and photosynthesis. In contrast, UiO-66-NH2 boosted the release of extracellular organic matter even at concentration as low as 0.02 mg/L. These findings indicated that, while no evident damage to algal cells was observed, UiO-66-NH2 was hazardous to the aquatic environment as it stimulated the release of algal toxins. Moreover, UiO-66-NH2 entered algal cells rather than adhering to the surface of M. aeruginosa as observed by the fluorescence imaging. Based on metabolic analysis, UiO-66-NH2 influenced the cyanobacteria mainly through interference with purine metabolism and ABC transporter. This study sheds light on the potential threat UiO-66-NH2 posing to microalgae, and has potential implications for its safe utilization in the environmental field.
