Abstract
Abstract
On the basis of 4-(thien-2-yl)-3-aminopyridine-2(1H)-one, the corresponding chloroacetamide and condensed 1H-pyrido[2,3-b][1,4]oxazine-2(3H)-one were synthesized by the reaction of acylation with chloroacetyl chloride. Thioureide derivatives of 3-aminopyridine-2(1H)-one were obtained by reactions with a number of isothiocyanates. It was shown that the carbamothionylmethacrylamide derivative cyclizes rather easily into substituted 1,3-thiazine. Molecular docking of synthesized derivatives for antithrombotic activity was carried out, which showed that the presence of a thiourea fragment in the pyridone core leads to an increase in affinity for the selected protein. The hemorheological study of the compounds using the in vitro model of the increased blood viscosity syndrome also showed activity at the level of the reference drug pentoxifylline.

Abstract
Cu-catalyzed N-arylation is a useful tool for the chemical modification of aromatic heterocycles. Herein, an efficient carbon–nitrogen cross-coupling of methyl 3-amino-1-benzothiophene-2-carboxylate with a range of (hetero)aryl iodides using CuI, l-proline and Cs2CO3 in dioxane at moderate temperature is described. The procedure is an extremely general, relatively cheap, and experimentally simple way to afford the N-substituted products in moderate to high yields. The structures of the new heterocyclic compounds were confirmed by NMR spectroscopy and HRMS investigation.

Abstract
In this study, a new environmentally benign iodine-mediated one-pot iodocyclization/alkylation strategy for the synthesis of benzo[b]thiophene derivatives starting from 2-alkynylthioanisoles was developed. The synthesis of a diverse population of 2,3-disubstituted benzo[b]thiophenes was achieved in high yields by employing moderate reaction conditions using 1,3-dicarbonyl substrates as the nucleophile and various substituted propargyl alcohols as both the cyclization precursor and the alkylating agent. This method resulted in the formation of a series of complex structures obtained in a single step. Additionally, a strategy was devised for the one pot iodocyclization/oxidation of propargyl alcohols into carbonyl functionalized benzo[b]thiophene structures. These green one-pot reaction processes were designed to reduce wastes and byproducts while generating a complex substitution pattern on the benzo[b]thiophene structure. The reported methodologies may be used to synthesize more functionalized benzo[b]thiophene structures that can be used in both biomedical and organic electronic applications.

Abstract
A new series of 3-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-5-(2-(5-arylbenzo[b]thiophen-3-yl)oxa zol-5-
yl)isoxazole derivatives were designed and synthesized. All these derivatives were evaluated for their
anticancer activity against various human cancer cell lines such as MCF-7 (breast cancer), A549 (lung
cancer), DU-145 (prostate cancer) and MDA MB-231 (breast cancer)-four human cancer cell lines by
using MTT assay. Here, etoposide was used as a standard reference drug and most of the compounds
were exhibited good anticancer activity with respect to cell lines. Among all compounds, five compounds
11b, 11c, 11f, 11i and 11j showed more potent activity than standard drug, in which, compound
11f was the most promising compound.

Abstract
A series of novel 7-substituted-5-(1H-indol-3-yl)tetrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-6-carbonitrile was synthesized via a one-pot, three-multicomponent reaction of appropriate aldehydes, 1H-tetrazole-5-amine and 3-cyanoacetyl indole in catalytic triethylamine. The cytotoxic activity of the new synthesized tetrazolopyrimidine-6-carbonitrile compounds was investigated against HCT-116, MCF-7, MDA-MB-231, A549 human cancer cell lines and one human healthy normal cell line (RPE-1) using the MTT cytotoxicity assay. Compounds 4h, 4b, 4c, 4i and 4a showed potent anticancer activities against human colon cancer. Additionally, all the compounds showed potent anticancer activities on human lung cancer.
