Abstract
PURPOSE OF REVIEW This paper explored the potential of digital health in idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIMs), with a focus on self-management. Digital self-management technology includes tailored treatment plans, symptom tracking, educational resources, enhanced communication, and support for long-term planning. RECENT FINDINGS After arguing the importance of digital health in IIMs management, from diagnosis until treatment, our literature review revealed a notable gap in research focusing on the efficacy of digital self-management interventions for individuals with IIMs, with no randomised controlled trials or observational studies addressing this topic. Our review further highlighted the significant unmet need for research in self-management interventions for individuals with IIMs. The absence of studies underscores the necessity for collaborative efforts to address this gap and develop personalised, effective strategies for managing IIMs using digital technology. Individuals with IIMs deserve tailored self-management approaches akin to those available for other rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.

Abstract
Background: Trauma is one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide, and online platforms have become essential sources of information for trauma management. YouTube can play a significant role in helping people access medical information. Methods: YouTube was searched using the keywords management of trauma and assessment of trauma to identify relevant videos. Two authors independently evaluated the videos according to the ATLS (10th edition) guidelines, the modified DISCERN (m-DISCERN) scale, and the Global Quality Scale (GQS) criteria. The videos that met the study criteria were evaluated based on the provider, video length, and view count. Results: Out of 939 videos, 667 were excluded resulting in 272 videos included in the study. According to the ATLS (10th edition) guidelines, the median score for videos was 8 (IQR 7-8). Videos uploaded by official institutions and healthcare professionals received higher scores than from uncertain sources (p = 0.003). According to the GQS, 86% of the videos were low or moderate quality; uncertain sources uploaded 78% of low-quality videos. Conclusion: YouTube is an information source about trauma management that contains videos of varying quality and has a broad audience. Official institutions and healthcare professionals should be aware of this evolving technology and publish up-to-date, accurate content to increase awareness about trauma management and help patients distinguish helpful information from misleading content.

Abstract
Idiopathic inflammatory myopathies are a group of autoimmune diseases with a broad spectrum of clinical presentations, primarily characterised by immune-mediated muscle injury. Until recently, there was little insight into the pathogenesis of idiopathic inflammatory myopathies, which challenged the recognition of the breadth of heterogeneity of this group of diseases as well as the development of new therapeutics. However, the landscape of idiopathic inflammatory myopathies is evolving. In the past decade, advances in diagnostic tools have facilitated an enhanced understanding of the underlying disease mechanisms in idiopathic inflammatory myopathies, enabling the expansion of therapeutic trials. The fields of transcriptomics, prot§eomics, and machine learning offer the potential to gain greater insights into the underlying pathophysiology of idiopathic inflammatory myopathies. Harnessing insights gained from these sophisticated tools could contribute to the identification of differences at a molecular level among patients, accelerating the development of targeted, tailored therapies. Bolstered by the validation and standardisation of robust outcome measures, many promising therapies are in clinical trial development. Although challenges remain, there is great optimism in the field due to the progress in innovative diagnostics, outcome measures, and therapeutic approaches. In this Review, we discuss the expanding landscape of idiopathic inflammatory myopathies as the frontier of precision medicine becomes imminent.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIM) are heterogeneous and complex, and routine consultation can be overwhelming for patients, or sometimes so rushed that patients feel unable to discuss their needs and wishes adequately. As a result, online patient support groups (PSGs) on social media platforms like Facebook may help provide them with information they are seeking, and the support of the patient community who are living with this condition. Our goal is to explore the current landscape of PSGs in IIM to discuss the future of such groups and their role in supporting patient-driven self-management of complex connective tissue diseases. METHODS We investigated factors that influence engagement in publicly accessible support groups on Facebook for patients with myositis. We analysed posts from myositis-related Facebook groups and pages between July 10, 2022, and October 2022. Data were extracted from each post, including presentation format (text, picture, video or mixed media) and content type (news, personal feelings or information). To gauge the post's impact, we measured engagement metrics, such as likes, comments, shares and reactions. RESULTS Nearly three-quarters of the groups were private. Among the open ones, most posts seem to comprise pictures with text. Notably, engagement levels were higher for multimedia posts, with the exception of comments in groups, where engagement was comparatively lower. In terms of content, the majority of posts fell under the 'personal' category, followed by 'information' and 'news' posts, with information posts in groups receiving the most interactions. Moreover, groups exhibited higher total engagement compared to pages when considering all posts cumulatively. CONCLUSIONS Our observations indicate that patients with myositis seek information on the condition online, and the multimedia nature of content presentation significantly influences engagement. These digital forums serve as valuable platforms for fostering connections among diverse individuals, providing a perceived safe space for sharing their personal experiences and varied perspectives, and potentially mitigating social isolation. Abstract
OBJECTIVE YouTube, a popular worldwide source to access health information online, may have an impact in enhancing exercise therapy for fibromyalgia patients. This study is aimed to investigate the quality and reliability of exercise videos prepared for fibromyalgia syndrome on YouTube. METHODS A thorough search on YouTube using six search terms related to fibromyalgia treatment and exercise was conducted. The videos with content on exercises for fibromyalgia, acceptable audio-video quality, and are in English language were included, whereas duplicates were excluded from the analysis. Quality was determined using the Global Quality Scale (GQS) and JAMA system, and reliability using the mDISCERN criteria. RESULTS Out of a total of 600 videos, 70 videos that met the inclusion criteria were included in the analysis. Physicians were found to produce content mostly in high and medium quality (%70.2), other medical professionals mostly in low and medium quality (93.8%), while non-medical users mostly in low quality (86.7%). Ninety percent of the videos targeted patients, while 10% targeted healthcare professionals as an audience, and the majority (93.7%) of videos targeting patients were of low and medium quality, as most (85.7%) of the videos targeting healthcare professionals were of high quality. CONCLUSION YouTube can be used as a tool to increase exercise adherence in fibromyalgia patients, as it offers a wide range of content that is easily accessible and useful at times. To implement this tool, physicians need to upload more content online as they stand for pioneers of high-quality information dissemination on the internet. KeyPoints • This research emphasizes the need for high-quality online healthcare information which is accessed by a vast number of individuals and the implementations that effectively address and prevent the spread of misinformation. • Additionally, it presents suggestions for the future regarding the uploading of such content on the internet. • Physicians hold the key responsibility in ensuring the availability of high-quality online health content, thereby carrying significant implications for its overall impact.

Abstract
PURPOSE OF REVIEW This article serves as a comprehensive review, focusing on digital approaches utilized in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of patients with idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIM). The authors critically assess the literature published in the last three years, evaluating the advancements and progress achieved in this specific domain. RECENT FINDINGS Remarkable strides have been made in the realm of digital diagnostic support, particularly in image analysis and clinical prediction models, showing promise in aiding the diagnosis of IIM. The field of remote patient monitoring has also witnessed significant advancements, revolutionizing the care process by offering more convenient, data-driven, and continuous monitoring for IIM patients. Various digital tools, such as wearables, video- and voice consultations, and electronic patient-reported outcomes, have been extensively explored and implemented to enhance patient care. Survey studies consistently reveal a high acceptance of telehealth services among patients. Additionally, internet-based studies have facilitated the efficient and rapid recruitment of IIM patients for research purposes. Moreover, the integration of sensors and exoskeletons has shown great potential in significantly improving the functionality and quality of life for individuals with muscle weakness caused by IIM. The integration of digital health solutions in the care of IIM patients is steadily gaining attention and exploration. Although the existing evidence is limited, it does indicate that patients can be adequately and safely supported through digital means throughout their entire healthcare journey. The growing interest in digital health technologies holds the promise of improving the overall management and outcomes for individuals with idiopathic inflammatory myopathies.
