Abstract
BACKGROUND/PURPOSE Shear wave elastography (SWE) is a clinical method used to evaluate liver hardness. In this study, we assessed its applicability in assessing the pancreas and its potential for diagnosing chronic pancreatitis. METHODS We performed SWE on 59 patients who underwent abdominal ultrasound, and measured the computed tomography (CT) values of the pancreas. Patients were classified as having a normal pancreas (NP), early chronic pancreatitis (ECP), or chronic pancreatitis (CP). SW elasticity (SWe), SW dispersion (SWd), and CT values between groups were analyzed. RESULTS SWe significantly differed between the CP and NP/ECP groups (NP vs CP; P = 0.001, ECP vs CP; P = 0.026,), while SWd showed a significant difference only between the NP and CP group (NP vs CP; P = 0.001). The CT values were significantly different between the CP and NP/ECP groups (NP vs CP; P = 0.0006, ECP vs CP; P = 0.0027). CONCLUSION Pancreatic SWE and CT values were helpful in the diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis. SWd may reveal status changes in ECP.

Abstract
Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) is an uncommon malignancy occurring most frequently in the salivary glands. Breast ACC is rare. Pain is common at the site of ACC; otherwise, presentation is similar to other primary breast cancers. Adenoid cystic carcinomas classically lack calcifications; the imaging manifestations of ACC are otherwise highly variable, likely related to multiple pathologic growth patterns. While ACC in other regions of the body tends to be more aggressive, ACC involving the breast typically has less aggressive biologic characteristics. Classic-type breast ACC has a lower tendency to recur locally with radiation, metastasize to regional lymph nodes, and spread to other parts of the body. Perineural spread of disease can be seen but is not common. The rarer solid basaloid-type has a higher tendency for local or distant spread and recurrence. Although ACC is usually triple receptor-negative (estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor, human epidermal growth factor-2 receptor), the indolent nature of this tumor dictates its management. With classic-type ACC, the inclusion of axillary surgery has no consensus and the use of chemotherapy or hormonal therapy is rare. Axillary nodal surgery and chemotherapy are often included in management of the more aggressive solid basaloid-type. An understanding of the breast imaging, histopathology, and clinical course is key for appropriate treatment and follow-up of ACC.

Abstract
RATIONALE AND OBJECTIVES Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) of the breast is a rare type of breast cancer with favorable prognosis. There is limited data on the radiological findings of this rare tumor in literature. The aim of this study is to determine the most common imaging features and review the literature. MATERIALS AND METHODS Pathological databases of seven institutions from 2009 to 2021 were retrospectively reviewed, and patients with a diagnosis of ACC of the breast were determined. Thirteen patients whose imaging studies could be recalled from the picture archiving systems (PACS) were included in the study. Clinical and pathological findings as well as follow-up data were recorded. Radiological findings were analyzed and categorized based on BI-RADS 5th edition. RESULTS There were 16 mass lesions in 13 patients (two multifocal cases, one case with recurrence). Mammography demonstrated 14 masses, while ultrasound (US) demonstrated all. MRI was available in only seven cases, with eight masses. The most common findings were round or oval shape on all modalities (78.57%-93.75%). Other frequent findings were parallel orientation (81.25%), isoechoic or hyperechoic echogenicity (62.5%), high T2 signal (87.5%), restricted diffusion (71.43%), and homogeneous enhancement (62.5%). Mammography, US and MRI showed circumscribed margins resembling a benign lesion in 35.71%, 37.5% and 50% of the lesions respectively. Three patients had a cyst-like echogenicty on US. Half of the lesions were avascular on Doppler US (6/12) and half were soft (2/4) on strain elastography. Although there were benign features on all imaging modalities seperately, all lesions could be categorized as BI-RADS 4 or 5 when the findings were combined. However 9/16 masses were BI-RADS 4A, emphasizing the subtlety of the malignant features. CONCLUSION ACC of the breast can present with findings resembling a benign lesion on different imaging modalities. Although combination of all imaging findings correctly indicated the suspicious nature of the lesions in all cases, final classification was BI-RADS 4A in most of them. Radiologists should be aware of the more frequent findings of ACC of the breast for early diagnosis. US findings of isoechoic or hyperechoic appearance, and cyst-like echogenicity have not been reported previously in literature.

Abstract
Background Primary adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) of breast is rarely seen clinically. It is a special subtype of triple-negative breast cancer characterized by low expression of Ki-67, low malignant potential, slow progression and favorable prognosis. To date, treatment for this disease is controversial and no consensus is reached. We analyzed clinical manifestations and pathological characteristics of seven primary breast ACC cases and reported in combination with literature review to promote understanding, diagnosis and treatment of this disease. Case presentation We collected seven breast ACC cases pathologically diagnosed and treated in Department of breast surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from January 2015 to December 2018. We organized and summarized the clinical, imaging, pathological and prognostic information and performed statistical analysis. The median age was 60 years (ranging from 54 to 64 years). Tumors of all patients were detected by immunohistochemistry. Molecular types were mostly triple negative (4/7), and Ki-67 expression was low (5/7). Lymph node metastases were absent in all patients received axillary lymph node surgery. Median follow-up time was 39 months (ranging from 25 to 68 months). There was no occurrence of relapse, distant metastasis or death. Conclusion Breast ACC is accompanied with favorable diagnosis, which is different from typical triple-negative breast cancer. Accurate diagnosis of ACC is particularly important.

Abstract
The incidence of breast cancer ranks first among female malignant tumor. With the increase of the sensitivity of color Doppler ultrasound blood flow, the blood flow distribution in and around the tumor can be clearly displayed, and the analysis of hemodynamic parameters is provided,
which provides convenience for the study of tumor blood flow characteristics. Studies have shown that tumor cells can secrete a substance called angiogenesis factor, which makes the tumor site form a rich vascular network to promote tumor growth and metastasis. The tumor has many new blood
vessels, abnormal structure, thin wall, lack of muscle layer, and is prone to form arteriovenous rash. These characteristics provide a pathological basis for color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI) for the diagnosis of breast cancer. This article discusses the role of two-dimensional sonographic
features in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses, CDFI was used to study the blood flow distribution and hemodynamic characteristics in benign and malignant breast masses; explore the value of blood flow characteristics and blood flow parameters in the differential
diagnosis of breast masses. The experimental results show that the detection rate of blood flow signals and the classification of blood flow signals in the malignant group are higher than those in the benign group, mainly level II and III blood flow, and the irregular branched blood flow is
more common, especially when the tumor appears penetrating blood flow supports the diagnosis of malignancy. PSV, RI and PI have a certain differential meaning in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses. PSV, RI and PI of malignant masses are higher than benign masses. For tumors
without obvious necrosis, the larger the tumor diameter, the richer the blood flow and the higher the blood flow grade is. The malignant tumors have more blood flow than the benign ones.

Abstract
Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the breast is a rare type of breast cancer. Most patients present with a bilateral palpable mass. Ultrasound and mammography are non-specific and can sometimes lead to misdiagnosis because of their variable imaging features. Pathological examination is the standard reference. Surgery is the mainstay of treatment for patients. Although adenoid cystic carcinoma has an excellent prognosis, metastatic cases have been reported. This report aims to discuss the clinical and imaging features of one case of adenoid cystic carcinoma with a poor prognosis and four cases with a good prognosis at our center.
