Abstract
A spectrofluorimetric approach that is sensitive, simple, validated, and cost-effective has been proposed for the estimation of amlodipine (AML) and perindopril (PER) in their bulk powders, pharmaceutical formulations, and spiked human plasma. The recommended approach utilized the quantitative quenching effect of the two cited drugs on the fluorescence intensity of erythrosine B, as a result of complex binary reactions among each drug with erythrosine B at pH 3.5 (Teorell and Stenhagen buffer). The quenching of erythrosine B fluorescence was recorded at 554 nm after excitation at 527 nm. The calibration curve was detected in the range 0.25-3.0 μg ml-1 , with a correlation coefficient of 0.9996 for AML, and 0.1-1.5 μg ml-1 , with a correlation coefficient of 0.9996 for PER. The established spectrofluorimetric approach was validated for the estimation of the cited drugs with high sensitivity regarding International Council on Harmonization guidelines. Therefore, the established approach could be utilized for quality control of the cited drugs in their pharmaceutical formulations.

Abstract
A novel, sensitive, fast, and pratic RP-HPLC methods were presented for the quantitative amounts of Telmisartan (TEL) and Olmesartan (OLM) in the presence of Amlodipin (AML) in a binary mixture of pharmaceutical preparation. Waters Spherisorb ODS-2 C18 column was used for separation. These methods were valid over linearity ranges of 2.5-30 μμg/mlL, 2-85 μμg/mlL, and 2-35 μμg/mlL for OLM, TEL, and AML, respectively. The mobile phase system consisted of acetonitrile:methanol: phosphate buffer at pH 3.0 (65:5:30 v/v/v), and the flow rate was 1,5 mlL/min for OLM and AML. The mobile system's other mixture (TEL and AML) was acetonitrile:methanol: phosphate buffer at pH 2.5 (65:5:30 v/v/v), and the flow rate was 1,5 mlL/min. These procedures were successfully applied to bulk, laboratory synthetic mixture, and medicinal dosage forms to use active ingredients quantitatively. The studied methods were validated according to ICH guidelines. In the developed HPLC method, the limit of detection values was found to be 0.020 μμg/mlL for TEL, 0.025 μμg/mlL for OML, and 0.070 μμg/mlL for AML. The correlation coefficients for the HPLC method were found to be 0.9938 for TEL, 0.9996 for OML, and 0.9982 for AML. The calibration range is between 2.5 and -30, 5-35, and 2-85 μμg/mlL for OLM, AML, and TEL, respectively. The proposed HPLC method is a convenient, effective, sensitive, green, and time-saving method for the rapid determination of TEL and OLM in the presence of AML.

Abstract
Versatile, extraction-free univariate spectrophotometric methods have been modified to get effective spectral resolution of mixtures in accordance with their feature challenges. The proposed methods have been applied and validated for analyzing some antihypertensive medicines in their co-formulated medicinal products. Two mixtures have been used: the first one [Mix I (OLM/ADB)] is composed of Olmesartan medoxomil (OLM) and Amlodipine besylate (ADB) with partly-overlapped spectra while the second [Mix II (TEL/HCT)] is made up Telmisartan (TEL) and Hydrochlorothiazide (HCT) with total-overlapped spectra. Induced dual wavelength, absorbance correction and ratio subtraction coupled with constant multiplication methods were applied to Mix I (OLM/ADB), while dual wavelength, advanced absorbance subtraction and constant center coupled with spectrum subtraction methods were applied to Mix II (TEL/HCT). Calibration graphs were established with good correlation coefficients. The methods exhibit significant advantages as simplicity, sensitivity, minimal data manipulation besides optimum robustness. Selectivity was inspected using lab-mixtures with diverse ratios. Accuracy, precision and repeatability were found to be within the acceptable limits. The proposed methods are good enough to be used for co-assay of analytes in combined forms without any interfering from excipients. Moreover, all results were estimated in accordance with ICH criteria and successfully compared with those of the reported methods applying t-test and F-test at 95% confidence level. Generally, these methods can be used efficiently for routine quality control testing.

Abstract
A highly selective and simple micellar synchronous spectrofluorimetric method was described for simultaneous analysis of two tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs); namely lapatinib (LPB) and foretinib (FTB) in human urine. The method depended on measuring synchronous fluorescence of the two drugs in micellar media composed of cremophor RH 40 (Cr RH 40) surfactant using feed-forward and cascade-forward neural networks preceded by genetic algorithm for data manipulation. Different experimental conditions that affect fluorescence of the cited drugs are optimized including pH, diluting solvent, surfactant's type and concentration. A training set of nine mixtures containing different concentrations of both drugs was prepared for models' construction. Extra validation set composed of other nine mixtures was prepared to validate prediction performance for the constructed models. Root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP) was used as a tool to compare prediction power of each model. The method was extended for quantification of LPB and FTB in spiked human urine.

Abstract
Five Selective, rapid and sensitive spectrofluorimetric methods were performed in this study for the simultaneous estimation of amlodipine besylate (AML) and atorvastatin (ATR) in their binary mixtures and combination polypills that are used for management of cardiovascular conditions. The first method depends on micelle-enhanced first derivative synchronous fluorimetric analysis (method I) and the other four methods are multivariate analysis techniques based on the use of factor-based calibration prediction methods comprising partial least squares (PLS), Principal Component Regression (PCR), genetic algorithm PLS (GA-PLS) and genetic algorithm PCR (GA-PCR). The synchronous fluorescence spectra of the solutions were measured at a constant wavelength difference; Δλ = 100 nm. The magnitudes of the peaks of the first derivative spectra (1D) were measured at 292 nm and 387 nm for ATR, and AML correspondingly. The multivariate models were constructed utilizing fifteen mixtures as a calibration set and ten mixtures as a validation set. The linearity of all the methods was in the concentration ranges of (0.1-4.0 μg mL-1, 0.4-10.0 μg mL-1) for AML and ATR, correspondingly. Statistical analysis revealed no significant difference between the proposed methods and the reference method. The validity of the proposed methods allows their suitability for quality control work. All the analysis settings were optimized and all the suggested procedures were applied productively for the determination of both drugs in synthetic mixtures, validation set, and combination polypills.

Abstract
This work represents a comparative study of two smart spectrophotometric techniques namely; successive resolution and progressive resolution for the simultaneous determination of ternary mixtures of Amlodipine (AML), Hydrochlorothiazide (HCT) and Valsartan (VAL) without prior separation steps. These techniques consist of several consecutive steps utilizing zero and/or ratio and/or derivative spectra. By applying successive spectrum subtraction coupled with constant multiplication method, the proposed drugs were obtained in their zero order absorption spectra and determined at their maxima 237.6 nm, 270.5 nm and 250 nm for AML, HCT and VAL, respectively; while by applying successive derivative subtraction they were obtained in their first derivative spectra and determined at P230.8-246, P261.4-278.2, P233.7-246.8 for AML, HCT and VAL respectively. While in the progressive resolution, the concentrations of the components were determined progressively from the same zero order absorption spectrum using absorbance subtraction coupled with absorptivity factor methods or from the same ratio spectrum using only one divisor via amplitude modulation method can be used for the determination of ternary mixtures using only one divisor where the concentrations of the components are determined progressively. The proposed methods were checked using laboratory-prepared mixtures and were successfully applied for the analysis of pharmaceutical formulation containing the cited drugs. Moreover comparative study between spectrum addition technique as a novel enrichment technique and a well established one namely spiking technique was adopted for the analysis of pharmaceutical formulations containing low concentration of AML. The methods were validated as per ICH guidelines where accuracy, precision and specificity were found to be within their acceptable limits. The results obtained from the proposed methods were statistically compared with the reported one where no significant difference was observed.
