Abstract
INTRODUCTION AND IMPORTANCE Juvenile trabecular ossifying fibroma is a rare benign tumor of childhood affecting the facial bones rarely described in literature. Its aggressive growth and high tendency of recurrence make it a real challenge for diagnosis and care. CASE PRESENTATION This article presents a case of an extensive juvenile trabecular ossifying fibroma of the maxilla in a 14-year-old boy, which required surgical intervention with immediate bone reconstruction using an autogenous graft (iliac crest). No recurrence has been found after two and a half years of follow-up. CLINICAL DISCUSSION Common symptoms of juvenile trabecular ossifying fibroma include painless swelling, facial asymmetry, jaw deformity and teeth displacement. Differential diagnosis should consider other forms like psammomatoid ossifying fibroma, osteofibrous dysplasia, fibrous dysplasia, ameloblastoma, odontoma, or even poorly differentiated carcinoma. CONCLUSION Currently, there is no recommendation or consensus for the treatment of juvenile trabecular ossifying fibroma. The objective of treatment is also to preserve growth and development and conserve the nervous structure and the function, as mastication, vision. Early diagnosis and appropriate care are essential to prevent morphological and functional defects in young patients. Regular and long-term follow-up is essential due to the high recurrence rate.

Abstract
Ossifying fibroma (OF) in craniofacial is a rare disease, benign, locally aggressive fibro-osseous tumor. The 2017 World Health Organization classifications divided OF into two types: OF of odontogenic origin and juvenile ossifying fibroma (JOF). Determining the right surgical treatment to reduce the postoperative recurrence rate is incredibly challenging. The author reports two cases of paranasal sinuses with disease onset progressed from pre-pubertal age. The first case is an example of a recurrent case after undergoing conservative surgery, and the second is a new one. All cases underwent radical surgery with subtotal maxillectomy and reconstructive surgery in one stage. After observing all patients until one year, there was no sign of recurrence through clinical and endoscopic examination. There are two types of surgery that compare in this case report: conservative surgery and radical surgery. Conservative surgical procedures include curettage, enucleation, or peripheral osteotomies. Several studies have shown high recurrence levels in OF patients when curettage or enucleation is performed; residue caused by incomplete excision is the most common reason that is easily caused by conservative surgery. Radical surgery such as open maxillectomy is a promising approach for degrading the level of recurrence. JOF, especially trabecular juvenile ossifying fibroma, shows a high recurrence percentage comparing other types. The first-choice management for treating OF was the surgical approach. Types of surgery depend on the disease's aggressiveness and morbidity. Radical surgery was proven better at decreasing recurrence level than conservative surgery.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Ossifying fibroma is one of the common benign tumors that affect the appearance and functions of the jaw. Ossifying fibroma may exhibit a wide range of biological behaviors, leading to deformities involving the jaw and other secondary facial deformities. Hence, to improve the function of the jaw and the patient's general facial appearance (bearing in mind each patient's facial shape and, or appearance), the authors thus, however, used a ''one and a half"-barrel fibular bone graft to achieve the ideal height and radian of the bone graft. CASE PRESENTATION Between July 2017 and January 2021, the authors retrospectively collected and analyzed clinical and surgical data from 39 patients who had undergone operations in our hospital. Twenty patients were operated on using our new surgical method, whereas 19 patients received conventional or debulking operation. Clinical factors associated with the operation were assessed, including classification of the jaw defects, perioperative complications, and postoperative outcomes. RESULTS All the flaps ultimately survived. According to the postoperative satisfaction survey, patients who underwent reconstruction were satisfied with their postoperative facial appearance, with an average of 8.5 out of 10. Based on the preoperative clinical data, 26 patients had suitable bone grafts for dentures to improve their oral function. CONCLUSIONS A ''one and a half''-barrel fibular bone graft effectively improves the facial appearance of patients and as well as provides an appropriate height and radian for the bone graft.

Abstract
Background Pediatric benign fibro-osseous lesions of the nose and paranasal sinuses are considered rare neoplastic entities. These fibro-osseous lesions are difficult to accomplish owing to the multifaceted anatomy of the skull base in addition to the closeness to neurovascular configurations. Objective The study aimed to study different clinical presentations, radiological manifestations, surgical management, and consequences of different benign fibro-osseous lesions in the pediatric age groups. Methods and Settings. This is a case series study of a single-center experience. Results Four different cases were presented and discussed (osteoma, fibrous dysplasia, and ossifying fibroma. Conclusion We reported four different cases of osteoma, ossifying fibroma, and fibrous dysplasia. All of these cases were managed endoscopically with no postoperative complications. Endoscopic management is considered highly effective with reduced morbidity. Preoperative radiographic studies are highly essential for diagnosis and operative planning.

Abstract
Ossifying fibromas (OFs) are benign, well-demarcated lesions in the craniofacial region, particularly in the jaws, with clinical, radiographic, and histopathological similarities to other lesions, which make their diagnosis challenging. Herein, we report a case of a fibro-osseous lesion in the anterior maxilla of a 13-year-old boy, consisting of an intraosseous and an extra-osseous part, which created a diagnostic dilemma.

Abstract
Familial gigantiform cementoma (FGC) is a rare benign fibro-cementum lesion, which follows an autosomal dominant inheritance pattern and presents during childhood. It is limited to the bones of the face, with a predilection for the jaw, is fast growing and painless and expands considerably over time. It is considered among the seven disorders that affect the physiognomy of the craniofacial skeleton. Radiographically, FGC occurs in three stages of maturation similar to bone dysplasia, being radiolucent, mixed and radiopaque and is described as a mixed lobular well delimited mass, which can occur in both maxillae, causing expansion of the buccal and palatal / lingual bone cortices. displacement and retention of teeth. The aim of this study was to perform a review of the literature to identify the clinical, radiographic and histopathological characteristics of FGC in the jaws and describe the imaging tools that are useful for the diagnosis and follow-up of this lesion.

Abstract
Parathyroid glands secrete the parathyroid hormone that plays an essential role in bone remodeling. Excessive production of parathyroid hormone causes a common metabolic bone disorder known as hyperparathyroidism that is classified into primary, secondary, or tertiary. In hyperparathyroidism, the late bony complication is manifested as a giant cell osteolytic lesion called "brown tumor." Primary hyperparathyroidism is usually a sporadic disorder, but in minority of cases it occurs in inherited forms, and one of these forms is the hyperparathyroidism-jaw tumor syndrome, which is characterized by primary hyperparathyroidism and ossifying fibroma in the mandible and/or maxilla.

Abstract
Cases of jaw masses abound in our environment which is a tropical one, with Burkitt lymphoma being the commonest aetiology. However rarer causes like juvenile aggressive ossifying fibroma should also be considered. It is a locally aggressive tumor with high recurrent potentials occurring in children and adolescent. Here we present the clinical features, physical findings and challenges in diagnosing and management of a 7-year-old boy who presented to the Paediatric unit of our institute with a right jaw mass.

Abstract
Ossifying fibroma is a benign osteogenic mesenchymal tumor that is classified in the fibro-osseous lesions. Fibro-osseous lesions contain minerals, blood vessels, and giant cells that have the same radiographic and pathologic features but have different clinical behaviors, and were replaced with the normal bone. These lesions include fibrous dysplasia, cemento-osseous dysplasia, and ossifying fibroma. Juvenile ossifying fibroma is a type of uncommon and has invasive behavior, high incidence and occurs in young men, especially in maxilla, and is different from the type of adult in age, location, and clinical behavior and microscopic view. Pathologically, ossifying fibroma is divided into two types of trabecular and psammomatoid. The trabecular type is characterized by the presence of the osteoid trabeculae and the woven bone, and the type of psammomatoid by the presence of round, integrated, and small ossicles that are similar to the components of the psammoma. The purpose of this report is the clinical examination, radiography, pathology, and the treatment of a rare case of ossifying fibroma (trabecular) in mandible in a 7-year-old boy.
