Abstract
BACKGROUND Since their first approval 25 years ago, monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) have become important targeted cancer therapeutics. However, dermatologic toxicities associated with non-immune checkpoint inhibitor (non-ICI) mAbs may complicate the course of cancer treatment. Data on the incidence and types of these reactions are limited. METHODS A comprehensive review was conducted on dermatologic toxicities associated with different classes of non-ICI mAbs approved for treatment of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. The review included prospective Phase 1, 2, and 3 clinical trials; retrospective literature reviews; systematic reviews/meta-analyses; and case series/reports. RESULTS Dermatologic toxicities were associated with several types of non-ICI mAbs. Inflammatory reactions were the most common dermatologic toxicities, manifesting as maculopapular, urticarial, papulopustular/acneiform, and lichenoid/interface cutaneous adverse events (cAEs) with non-ICI mAbs. Immunobullous reactions were rare and a subset of non-ICI mAbs were associated with the development of vitiligo cAEs. CONCLUSION Dermatologic toxicities of non-ICI mAbs are diverse and mostly limited to inflammatory reactions. Awareness of the spectrum of the histopathologic patterns of cAE from non-ICI mAbs therapy is critical in the era of oncodermatology and oncodermatopathology.

Abstract
Modern cancer management has changed over the period of time and now shifted to multidisciplinary care approach to ensure a better quality of life (QOL) of the surfing patients. Every form of cancer treatment has side effects and affects the QOL. Many of the side effects have been discussed in detail because of the need for timely interventions to prevent the consequences of the side effects. Dermatological adverse events due to cancer treatment are important but most commonly ignored in our clinical practice. Nursing staffs have a critical role in the early identification of such events and by briefing and training of the nursing staff in the identification of adverse events which can aid in the prevention of complications. As dermatologists may not be available round the clock, nursing staff are looking after the patients round the clock can prove very vital in screening cutaneous AE and adequately setting up referrals to aid early recognition and treatment of not only mild but also potentially life-threatening complications. The nursing staff, which is a cadre of health caregivers that are intimately involved in cancer care, can be trained to identify timely, skin-related adverse events. A literature search of scientific publications was done using the electronic databases PubMed, Science Direct, Cochrane Library, and Google Scholar. The search included terms 'Adverse events (AEs) post-chemotherapy,' 'AE post-radiotherapy,' 'AE post-immunotherapy,' 'AE post-hormonal therapy for cancer' and 'AE post-cancer surgery.' Data obtained from these studies and case reports were compiled and interpreted to prepare this review. This review focuses on various ways in which skin can be involved adversely as a part of cancer management and their classic and tell-tale signs to help the nurses in their better and quicker identification so that dermatologists are timely intimated and the treatment can be instituted to improve the patient's QOL.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Flagellate dermatitis (FD) is a rare skin rash, which may occur following the administration of antineoplastic agents. It has been reported following the administration of bleomycin, docetaxel, trastuzumab, cisplatin, bendamustine and doxorubicin. We provide a summary of the epidemiology, aetiology, pathophysiology, and distribution of chemotherapy-induced FD. METHODS PubMed was searched using ((flagellat*) AND (Dermat*)) OR ((Flagellat*) AND (Erythema)). The search yielded 206 publications, out of which 54 individual case reports were identified which fulfilled our inclusion criteria. Statistical analysis was performed where appropriate. RESULTS Female patients were slightly more likely to develop FD compared to males. In the majority of cases FD appeared on the upper and lower limbs and pruritus was an accompanying feature in 51% of cases. Most cases developed after the first cycle of chemotherapy and females were statistically more likely to present within the first 72 hr (p <0.05). Skin biopsies were taken in 41% of cases and this was not statistically associated with the patient's gender, (p = 0.651), presentation within 72 hr (p = 0.076) or cancer diagnosis. Chemotherapy was stopped in 62% of patients and was associated with female gender (p = 0.0098). Most patients who received treatment were managed with topical steroids. Time for rash resolution ranged from a few weeks to four months following the discontinuation of the causative drug. CONCLUSION FD is a rare adverse skin effect of chemotherapeutic treatment, most commonly presenting on the upper and lower limbs of patients following their first cycle of chemotherapy. Early presentation is more common in females leading to increased likelihood of stopping chemotherapy. Biopsy findings poorly correlate with disease severity. Continuation of chemotherapy treatment in combination with topical steroids may not adversely affect rash resolution.

Abstract
Trastuzumab, as a recombinant IgG1 kappa, is a humanized monoclonal antibody against human epidermal growth factor receptor 2. Accordingly, it is widely used in breast cancers at early and advanced stages. Dermatomyositis is a rare adverse event of trastuzumab therapy, which is not well documented yet. In this study, a patient was treated for invasive ductal carcinoma with some symptoms of rash and generalized fatigue. These symptoms started after the fifth cycle of trastuzumab, which were gradually deteriorating. This patient's medical and family histories were unremarkable. The progression of the disease was ruled out as a possible cause of dermatomyositis, and the laboratory evaluation revealed a moderate increase in serum muscle protein (CPK). So, trastuzumab treatment was discontinued, and by passing 1 month from the start of prednisolone and hydroxychloroquine, the patient had no symptoms.

Abstract
Dermatomyositis (DM) is a strikingly heterogenous disease characterized by a broad and ever-evolving spectrum of cutaneous manifestations that transcend the classic “hallmarks” defined by Peter and Bohan in 1975. Despite the increasing preponderance and ubiquity of autoantibody, radiologic, and electrophysiologic testing, the diagnosis of DM still hinges largely on prompt detection of cutaneous manifestations of this condition. While pathognomonic cutaneous features of DM are more readily recognizable, many patients present with subtle and/or atypical skin manifestations, and diagnosis of DM may require clinician identification of these cutaneous clues. In this review, we highlight several of the lesser-known skin manifestations of DM, specifically, panniculitis, diffuse subcutaneous edema, erythroderma, calcinosis, ulceration, flagellate erythema, Wong-type DM, gingival telangiectasias, and the ovoid palatal patch. We describe the clinical and histopathologic presentation of these cutaneous findings. While manifesting less frequently than the heliotrope rash, Gottron’s papules, and Gottron’s sign, these cutaneous clues are equally important for clinicians to recognize in order to facilitate timely diagnosis and early intervention.

Abstract
Pertuzumab and trastuzumab are monoclonal antibody inhibitors targeting human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER-2) and are increasingly being utilised in the management of HER2-positive breast cancer, having been demonstrated to improve progression-free survival in conjunction with docetaxel. We present a rare presentation of a lichenoid drug eruption, in an annular atrophic variant, in a 35-year-old woman after initiation of HER2-inhibitor (pertuzumab and trastuzumab) therapy for metastatic breast cancer.

Abstract
Drug-induced pigmentation accounts for up to 20% of all cases of acquired pigmentation. A thorough review of medical history and previous and ongoing medications as well as a complete skin examination can guide diagnosis. Implicated agents include alkylating/cytotoxic agents, analgesics, antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, antiepileptics, antimalarials, antimicrobials, antiretrovirals, metals, prostaglandin analogs, and psychotropic agents, among others. Confirming true drug associations can be challenging, especially in the setting of delayed onset of pigmentation and coexisting polypharmacy.

Abstract
Flagellate erythema is a distinctive eruption characterized by "whip-like" linear or curvilinear streaks and plaques, occurring mainly on the trunk. It has classically been described in 2 disparate clinical settings: chemotherapy with bleomycin and ingestion of mushrooms (most commonly Shiitake mushrooms). Most of the literature comprises single case reports, often with minimal histological description of rather nonspecific features. We describe in detail the histological features of 3 cases of flagellate erythema (2 related to bleomycin therapy and one related to ingestion of mushrooms) and review the findings described in the literature to define the spectrum of histological changes encountered in this eruption. Our 3 cases showed mild epidermal changes, with spongiosis and variable interface inflammation. All 3 showed a relatively prominent dermal lymphohistiocytic infiltrate, with features suggestive of a lymphocytic vasculopathy extending to at least the mid-reticular dermis. Eosinophils were a prominent component of the inflammatory infiltrate in 2 cases. Our review of the literature identified a total of 45 publications, representing reports of 46 patients, containing histological information. As well as bleomycin- and mushroom-related cases, similar eruptions have been reported in the context of connective tissue disease and other drugs. Although cases related to connective tissue disease show features of the underlying condition, cases secondary to drugs or mushrooms predominantly show features compatible with common patterns of exanthematous/morbilliform drug reaction. In particular, subtle spongiosis and/or interface dermatitis combined with a dermal lymphocytic infiltrate that includes increased numbers of eosinophils is a common finding. Features of a lymphocytic vasculopathy may be seen in a subset of these cases.

Abstract
Any drug can cause any rash! Cutaneous adverse drug reactions (CADRs) are great mimickers and can be included in the differential diagnosis of any inflammatory dermatoses. Several drugs can cause rash of similar morphology and the same drug can cause rash of different morphology. While some common and specific drug reaction patterns are recognized easily by the clinicians, many a times unusual and interesting patterns can be induced by drug(s), thus leading to erroneous diagnosis and mistreatment. This review aims to familiarize clinicians with some rare, yet interesting patterns of CADR.

Abstract
Flagellate dermatitis, a cutaneous eruption in which the patient appears to have been whipped, has been described with antineoplastic agents and shiitake mushroom ingestion. A 15-year-old girl with metastatic Ewing sarcoma developed pruritic erythematous linear lesions on her trunk that became hyperpigmented over time during her first cycle of chemotherapy with doxorubicin, vincristine, cyclophosphamide, and ganitumab. Flagellate dermatitis was diagnosed based on clinical and histologic findings. Flagellate dermatitis (FD) is a rare cutaneous eruption named for its appearance, in which the patient appears to have been whipped. It has been associated with chemotherapeutic agents such as bleomycin . We report FD in a child that occurred during chemotherapy treatment that included doxorubicin.
