Fermatean Fuzzy CODAS Approach with Topology and Its Application to Sustainable Supplier Selection

A Fermatean fuzzy set (FFS) is a reliable method for representing uncertainty in “multi-criteria decision-making” (MCDM). This research seeks to examine the topological properties of FFSs and to establish the notion of “Fermatean fuzzy topology” (FFT). An FFT is the generalisation of existing fuzzy topologies. Several aspects of FFT are examined and various novel concepts are proposed, which include Fermatean fuzzy α-continuity between FFTSs and Fermatean fuzzy connectedness. To deal multiple challenges in sustainable supply chain management, a Fermatean fuzzy “combinative distance-based assessment” (CODAS) method was developed. The proposed FF CODAS technique involves various key features for MCDM. Firstly, a known reputation vector or equal expert weights is determined based on the reputation, experience and qualifications of the experts. Secondly, the Fermatean fuzzy direct rating approach is used to establish the relative relevance of criteria based on the expert group’s evaluation preferences. Thirdly, the Fermatean fuzzy CODAS approach is used to construct alternative orderings based on their assessment scores. Finally, an application is developed to show the benefit of the suggested supplier selection approach. Additionally, the symmetry of an optimal decision in application is carried out by a comparison analysis of the suggested models with some existing models.

TODIM method based on the CRITIC method for multi-attribute group decision making with dual probabilistic linguistic information

The main research of this paper is decision making under the dual probabilistic linguistic term sets (DPLTSs). This paper introduces a method, which combined TODIM method and CRITIC method. In this research, the CRITIC method is used to determine the weight, and the distance formula of TODIM method has been modified in order to adapt to DPLTS situation. Then, the TODIM method is used for multi-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problem. Finally, a case study concerning investment project selection is given to demonstrate the merits of the developed methods. This combined method can be used for the automatic areal feature matching, medical quality assessment, and ranking of matching processes. There are very few papers about using TODIM method under DPLTS situation at present, so this is a new perspective on MAGDM. The DPLTS-TODIM-CRITIC method was compared with correlation coefficient method and closeness coefficient method, and it is easy to find the advantage of this new method over the other two existing methods.

A maximizing dominance degree model based on trust relationships and TODIM method to reach group consensus

To obtain the suitable alternative(s) for the organization, this paper proposes a more practical method to solve the decision-making problems in society. That is combined with the TODIM (TOmada de decisão interativa multicrit e ´ rio). The maximizing dominance degree model to reach consensus is proposed with two following components: (1) constructing the complete trust relationships network; (2) the maximizing dominance degree feedback mechanism to reach group consensus. Therefore, firstly owing to the complexity of the trust relationships network, judging the direct and indirect trust propagation paths among the decision makers (DMs) to construct the complete trust relationships network and identifying the highest value of Trust Score (TS) as the leader is possible. Then identify the inconsistent DM based on the established consensus index. During the feedback process, inconsistent DMs adopt the feedback mechanism based on the dominance degree of the leader until the group consensus is reached. Later, the corresponding ranking result is calculated by the TODIM method. Finally, a numerical example is applied to illustrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the optimal model.

Evaluation Mechanism Design for the Development Level of Urban-Rural Integration Based on an Improved TOPSIS Method

Under the background of new-type urbanization and rural revitalization strategy, how to promote the development of urban–rural integration has become an important issue in today’s society. This paper designed a new evaluation mechanism for the development level of urban–rural integration. Specifically, a three-level evaluation index system of urban–rural integration development level was established from four aspects: spatial integration, economic integration, social integration and living environment integration. By combining the entropy weight method with the ranking method, a combination weighting method was proposed to determine the weight of each index in the index system. Furthermore, an improved TOPSIS method based on relative entropy and grey relational degree was proposed to evaluate the development level of urban–rural integration, which considering proximity from the perspectives of distance and shape and solving the problem that some situations cannot be compared through the original model. Then, the established evaluation mechanism was applied to make an empirical analysis for evaluating the development level of urban–rural integration in Hubei Province, China. Cluster analysis and obstacle factor analysis were used to further analyze the evaluation results. Finally, according to the evaluation results, some effective countermeasures and policy implications were provided to improve the development level of urban–rural integration in Hubei Province.
