Abstract
Metal-containing pesticides are used in many areas for purposes such as harvest efficiency and keeping pests away from the vegetable environment. Metal-containing pesticides are in the form of dithiocarbamate complexes and are named differently according to the type of metal they contain and are used for different purposes. Since the presence of these pesticides even at residue level threatens human and environmental health, their determination at trace level is important. In this review, studies on the determination of metal-containing dithiocarbamate pesticides in different matrices are discussed. This review on the analysis of dithiocarbamate pesticides with different techniques will shed light on the studies to be carried out for the determination of these pesticides one by one in different matrices.

Abstract
Imidazoline-linked cationic covalent triazine framework (IM-iCTF) was facilely prepared through the Debus-Radziszewski reaction, involving 4,4',4''-(1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyl)trianiline, formaldehyde and methylglyoxal. The IM-iCTF was applied as a sorbent for cartridge solid-phase extraction (SPE). It provided good adsorption performance for estrogen and estrogen mimics including bisphenol F, bisphenol A, 7β-estradiol, bisphenol B and estrone. The adsorption isotherm, adsorption kinetic model, thermodynamic calculations and adsorption mechanism were investigated to reveal the adsorption behavior. The IM-iCTF was employed for the extraction of the estrogens and estrogen mimics from water, fish and shrimp (fish and shrimp samples were extracted with acetonitrile before the SPE). The analytes were then determined by high-performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection. The limits of detection were 0.008-0.05 ng mL-1 for water, 0.015-0.11 μg g-1 for fish, and 0.012-0.10 μg g-1 for shrimp samples. This research not only offers a new approach to construct cationic covalent triazine framework, but also provides a reliable strategy for the adsorption/enrichment trace level of organic pollutants.

Abstract
A novel biomass-derived magnetic nanocomposite of Fe3O4-Chitin@NADES-CC composed of a natural deep eutectic solvent (NADES), biological polysaccharide (Chitin) and magnetic Fe3O4 was synthesized. After being systematically characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometry, thermogravimetry, vibrating sample magnetometry, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and dynamic light scattering, Fe3O4-Chitin@NADES-CC was used as an extractant to separate trypsin (Tryp) on the basis of magnetic solid phase extraction. Simultaneously, the extraction conditions of Fe3O4-Chitin@NADES-CC for Tryp were investigated in turn by single-factor experiments, including screening the types of extractants, the initial concentration of Tryp, the pH value of the solution, the influence of ionic strength, extraction time and temperature, etc. Under the optimal conditions, the extraction capacity of Fe3O4-Chitin@NADES-CC for Tryp could reach up to 1082.67 mg g-1. Adsorption isotherm tests certified that the Langmuir adsorption equilibrium fitted well with the extraction model in this study, which showed that the extraction of Fe3O4-Chitin@NADES-CC for Tryp was monolayer adsorption. In addition, in the sections on the regeneration-reuse, selectivity and methodological studies, all the results exhibited the superiority of the Fe3O4-Chitin@NADES-CC and Tryp separation strategy which has been established in this work. Finally, Fe3O4-Chitin@NADES-CC was ultimately applied to the separation of Tryp from a real bovine pancreas crude extract by the analysis of SDS-PAGE. All the above results highlight that the proposed Fe3O4-Chitin@NADES-CC biomass-derived magnetic nanocomposite can be applied in the field of protein purification.

Abstract
Here, we report a s-trichlorotriazine (TCT, also known as cyanuric chloride) mediated one-pot general method for the conversion of carboxylic acids into ubiquitous functionalities such as carbamides, carbamates, carbamothioates, amides, and amines. The TCT-mediated activation of acids followed by azidation and heating led to the isocyanate formation via Curtius rearrangement which involves click chemistry in the presence of nucleophiles and provided the coupled product. The TCT was employed at ≤40 mol% with respect to the starting materials; however, its bulk availability and low cost provide a unique opportunity towards its applicability in the synthesis of functional molecules. The optimized conditions have also been successfully demonstrated for gram scale synthesis and late-stage functionalization of natural products and drugs such as podophyllotoxin, eugenol, diosgenin, geraniol and fluvoxamine.

Abstract
2D π-conjugated networks linked by aza-fused units represent a pivotal category of graphitic materials with stacked nanosheet architectures. Extensive efforts have been directed at their fabrication and application since the discovery of covalent triazine frameworks (CTFs). Besides the triazine cores, tricycloquinazoline and hexaazatriphenylene linkages are further introduced to tailor the structures and properties. Diverse related materials have been developed rapidly, and a thorough outlook is necessitated to unveil the structure-property-application relationships across multiple subcategories, which is pivotal to guide the design and fabrication toward enhanced task-specific performance. Herein, the structure types and development of related materials including CTFs, covalent quinazoline networks, and hexaazatriphenylene networks, are introduced. Advanced synthetic strategies coupled with characterization techniques provide powerful tools to engineer the properties and tune the associated behaviors in corresponding applications. Case studies in the areas of gas adsorption, membrane-based separation, thermo-/electro-/photocatalysis, and energy storage are then addressed, focusing on the correlation between structure/property engineering and optimization of the corresponding performance, particularly the preferred features and strategies in each specific field. In the last section, the underlying challenges and opportunities in construction and application of this emerging and promising material category are discussed.
