Abstract
Abstract
This study presents development and characterization of a radiotracer, [125I]iodonefiracetam ([125I]iodoNEF). Labeling with high yield and radiochemical purity was achieved through the formation of a [125I]iodoNEF radiotracer after investigating many factors like oxidizing agent content (chloramines-T (Ch-T)), substrate amount (Nefiracetam (NEF)), pH of reaction mixture, reaction time and temperature. Nefiracetam (NEF) is known as nootropic agent, acting as N-methyl-d-aspartic acid receptor ligand (NMDA). The radiolabeled compound was stable, and exhibited the logarithm of the partition coefficient (log p) value of [125I]iodonefiracetam as 1.85 (lipophilic). Biodistribution studies in normal mice confirmed the suitability of the [125I]iodoNEF radiotracer as a novel tracer for brain imaging. High uptake of 8.61 ± 0.14 percent injected dose/g organ was observed in mice

Abstract
Abstract
In this work, the radiotracer [99mTc]nitrido-oxiracetam complex was labeled in the presence of 99mTc-nitrido as a core. In order to get the highest radiochemical purity, many effective factors have been studied such as temperature of the reaction, time of the reaction, the pH of the reaction mixture, substrate amount, and stability to give high percent more than 99%. Finally, biodistribution studies have been indicated the convenience of [99mTc]nitrido-oxiracetam as a new radiotracer that could be used in brain imaging. Giving a maximum uptake of 10.6% at 30 min post injection.

Abstract
AbstractIn the present work, [99mTc]N-histamine has been labeled using [99mTc≡N]2+core. Factors such as, amount of substrate, pH, reaction temperature,in vitrostability and reaction time, have been systematically studied to optimize high radiochemical purity (>99±0.3). Biodistribution studies indicate the suitability of [99mTc]N-histamine as a novel tracer to image brain. The complex of [99mTc]N-histamine may be considered a highly selective radiotracer for brain imaging.

Abstract
Abstract
The aim of the work is to radiolabel a piracetam using [99mTc≡N]2+core in order to give a 99mTcN-labeled piracetam complex, that is expected to concentrate in brain organ by AMPA receptors. The complex was prepared with high radiochemical purity (>98.0) and maintained stability throughout the working period (8 h) using different quality controls. Biodistribution investigation showed that, the maximum uptake of the complex in the brain was 13.5±0.12% at 5 min post injection (p.i.) of the injected dose/g which retained till 2 h post-injection.

Abstract
Catecholamine mimetic EDTA-bis(tyramide) was synthesized and characterized by various spectroscopic techniques (NMR, mass spectroscopy) and λem 310 nm for the excitation at 270 nm. Molecular docking studies were performed with human serum albumin (PDB 1E78), showing binding pattern with amino acid residues Arg218, Arg222, and Lys444, identifies the ligand-human serum albumin interaction for the transportation affinity of the ligand at the specific site of the target. Subsequently, binding study with human serum albumin at λex = 350 nm found to be 5.847 × 10(4) m(-1) shows effective quenching effect. Additionally, to go more insight, acetylcholinesterase binding affinity was investigated, which shows 90% binding affinity for the 10 mm concentration. IC50 value was found 18.60 μm for MAO-B inhibition. Finally, EDTA-bis(tyramide) labeled with (99m) Tc to investigate its in vivo radiopharmaceutical efficiency having 97% binding affinity with 98% radiochemical purity. In vivo studies were carried out for (99m) Tc-EDTA-bis(tyramide) included blood kinetics showed a quick wash out from the circulation via renal route, and biodistribution revealed that maximum %ID/g was found in kidney at 1 h, and its scintigraphy image shows 3.96% brain uptake with respect to whole body.

Abstract
Radio-HPLC is a powerful tool for analyzing radioactive species in radiopharmaceutical chemistry. In this paper, we found an example that the commonly used eluting solvent, acetonitrile, could coordinate with the popular radiopharmaceutical nuclides, technetium-99m, during chromatography. [(99m)Tc(CO)(3)(H(2)O)(3)](+) and [Re(CO)(3)(H(2)O)(3)](+) showed quite different retention time when they were eluted using acetonitrile/water as mobile phase. However, they almost demonstrated the same retention time when they were eluted using methanol/water as mobile phase. Further analysis showed that both [(99m)Tc(CO)(3)(H(2)O)(3)](+) and [Re(CO)(3)(H(2)O)(3)](+) could be changed into [(99m)Tc(CO)(3)(CH(3)CN)(3)](+) and [Re(CO)(3)(CH(3)CN)(x)(H(2)O)(3-x)](+) during the separation, respectively. Some former works mistook the [(99m)Tc(CO)(3)(CH(3)CN)(3)](+) for [(99m)Tc(CO)(3)(H(2)O)(3)](+) when using acetonitrile and water in analysis. Quality control of the radiopharmaceuticals containing metal complex should be careful since HPLC solvent could replace some liable ligand molecules.
