Abstract
Direct aerobic oxidation of silyl ethers to carboxylic acids has been developed. The mild reaction conditions lead to a broad range of functional group compatibility. Different types of silyl groups have been investigated and selective deprotective oxidation has been realized. The reaction could be conducted under air.

Abstract
Cobalt was successfully immobilized on natural hydroxyapatite nanocrystals which was obtained from cow bones (Co–NHAp). NHAp as the support enhanced both catalytic activity and selectivity in aerobic oxidation of alkyl arenes and alcohols.

Abstract
Pyridine-functionalized MCM-41 catalyzed reactions between tetracyanoethylene and various activated CH-acid compounds are described. These reactions afford the corresponding pyran annulated heterocyclic ring systems in high yields at room temperature within a few minutes. The work-up procedure is very simple and the products do not require further purification. The catalyst can be recycled and reused for several times without observable loss of performance.
