Abstract
We outline the fabrication of a highly sensitive biosensor for phytic acid (PA) determination using the extract of rice sprout and SBA@DABCO nanoparticles. The nanoparticles were first added to the surface of small paper disks. After drying, the extract of rice sprout in phosphate buffered saline was immobilized on the paper disks. FT-IR spectroscopy, XRD, and SEM were employed for the characterization of the nanoparticles. The assembly process of the modified paper disks on top of graphite screen-printed electrodes was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. PA measurements were performed by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) with a small amount of sample (7 μL) for analysis. The cooperation of the rice sprout extract and the nanostructure of this biosensor led to the selective and sensitive electrochemical determination of PA. The limit of detection (S/N = 3) and linear dynamic range for PA determination by DPV were obtained at 0.04 μM and 0.1-10.0 μM, respectively. The biosensor showed excellent sensitivity for the determination of PA in real samples such as biscuits and wheat flour.

Abstract
:
The supported ionic liquids have shown immense potential for numerous applications
in catalysis and separation science. In the present review, the remarkable contribution
of supported ionic liquids has been highlighted. The main emphasis has been laid on
describing the facile separation of gas from binary gas mixtures owing to the capability of
selective transport of permeable gases across supported membranes and removal of environmentally
hazard sulfur compounds from fuels. The catalytic action of supported ionic
liquids has been discussed in other applications such as biodiesel (biofuel) synthesis by
transesterification/esterification processes, waste CO2 fixation into advantageous cyclic
carbonates, and various chemical transformations in organic green synthesis. This review
enclosed a maximum of the published data of the last ten years and also recently accomplished
work concerning applications in various research areas like separation sciences, chemical transformations
in organic green synthesis, biofuel synthesis, waste CO2 fixation, and purification of fuels by desulfurization.

Photocatalytic efficacy of supported tetrazine on MgZnO nanoparticles for the heterogeneous photodegradation of methylene blue and ciprofloxacin. RSC Adv 2019; 9:23818-23831. Abstract
MgZnO@SiO2-tetrazine nanoparticles were synthesized and their photocatalytic efficiency was demonstrated in the decomposition of ciprofloxacin and methylene blue (MB). This new heterogeneous nanocatalyst was characterized by FT-IR, XRD, UV-vis, DRS, FE-SEM, ICP, and CHN. Distinctive variables including photocatalyst dose, pH, and degradation time were investigated. Up to 95% photodegradation was gained under the optimum conditions (20 mg photocatalyst, 3.5 ppm MB, pH 9) by using MgZnO@SiO2-tetrazine nanoparticles after 20 min. An elementary kinetic study was carried out, and a pseudo-first-order kinetic with a reasonably high rate-constant (0.068 min−1) was derived for the MB decay. Photoluminescence (PL) studies confirmed that the photocatalytic activity of MgZnO@SiO2-tetrazine was almost consistent with the Taugh plots. Thus, it can be envisaged that the photocatalytic activity is closely related to the optical absorption. Furthermore, a photoreduction mechanism was suggested for the degradation process. Addition of scavengers and some mechanistic studies also revealed that O2˙− is the original radical accounting for the degradation of MB, considering this latter compound as a model type pollutant. Finally, efficacy of the present photocatalytic process was assessed in the degradation of ciprofloxacin as a model drug under the optimum reaction conditions. MgZnO@SiO2-tetrazine nanoparticle was synthesized and its photocatalytic efficiency was demonstrated in the decomposition of methylene blue (MB) and ciprofloxacin.![]()

Abstract
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world and has no effective treatment. Therefore, development of new methods for early diagnosis is instantly required. Biological recognition probes such as synthetic receptor and aptamer is one of the candidate recognition layers to detect important biomolecules. In this work, an electrochemical aptasensor was developed by fabricating an aptamer-cell-aptamer sandwich architecture on an SBA-15-3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (SBA-15-pr-NH2) and Au nanoparticles (AuNPs) modified graphite screen printed electrode (GSPE) surface for the selective, label-free detection of CT26 cancer cells. Based on the incubation of the thiolated aptamer with CT26 cells, the electron-transfer resistance of Fe (CN)63-/4- redox couple increased considerably on the aptasensor surface. The results obtained from cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy studies showed that the fabricated aptasensor can specifically identify CT26 cells in the concentration ranges of 10-1.0×105cells/mL and 1.0×105-6.0×106 cells/mL, respectively, with a detection limit of 2cells/mL. Applying the thiol terminated aptamer (5TR1) as a recognition layer led to a sensor with high affinity for CT26 cancer cells, compared to control cancer cells of AGS cells, VERO Cells, PC3 cells and SKOV-3 cells. Therefore a simple, rapid, label free, inexpensive, excellent, sensitive and selective electrochemical aptasensor based on sandwich architecture was developed for detection of CT26 Cells.

Abstract
A highly sensitive and low-cost electrochemical aptasensor was developed for the determination of chloramphenicol (CAP). The system was based on a CAP-binding aptamer, a molecular recognition element, and 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO)-supported mesoporous silica SBA-15 on the surface of a screen-printed graphite electrode for formation of dendritic gold nanostructures and improving the performance and conductivity of the biosensor. Hemin has been applied as an electrochemical indicator which interacted with the guanine bases of the aptamer. In the absence of CAP, hemin binds to the aptamer and produces a weak differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) signal. The presence of CAP led to stabilization of the folded aptamer, which generated an amplified DPV signal. The peak current of hemin increased linearly with the concentration of CAP. Under optimal conditions, two linear ranges were obtained from 0.03 to 0.15 μM and 0.15 to 7.0 μM, respectively, and the detection limit was 4.0 nM. The prepared biosensor has good selectivity against other non-target drugs. Thus, the sensor could provide a promising platform for the fabrication of aptasensors. The feasibility of using this aptasensor was demonstrated by determination of CAP in a human blood serum sample.

Abstract
Ionic liquid containing active ingredient Zn(CH3COO)2was loaded in mesoporous silica gel to form supported ionic liquids catalyst (SILC) which was used to synthesize vinyl acetate monomer (VAM). SILC was characterized by1HNMR, FT-IR, TGA, BET, and N2adsorption/desorption and the acetylene method was used to evaluate SILC catalytic activity and stability in fixed reactor. The result shows that 1-allyl-3-acetic ether imidazole acetate ionic liquid is successfully fixed within mesoporous channel of silica gel. The average thickness of ionic liquid catalyst layer is about 1.05 nm. When the catalytic temperature is 195°C, the acetic acid (HAc) conversion is 10.9% with 1.1 g vinyl acetate yield and 98% vinyl acetate (VAc) selectivity. The HAc conversion is increased by rise of catalytic temperature and molar ratio of C2H2 : HAc and decreased by mass space velocity (WHSV). The catalyst activity is not significantly reduced within 7 days and VAc selectivity has a slight decrease.

Abstract
1,5,7-Triazabicyclo[4.4.0]dec-5-ene (TBD, a strong bicyclic guanidine base) functionalized SBA-15 material has been found to be an efficient solid catalyst for the interesterification between tributyrin and methyl stearate in a solvent-free system for the production of low-calorie structured lipid (LCSL). The solid base catalyst was characterized by using small-angle X-ray scattering, Fourier transform infrared spectra, thermo gravimetric analysis, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, nitrogen adsorption-desorption, and elemental analysis techniques. The obtained LCSL was analyzed by reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography for triacylglycerol composition. The influence of various reaction parameters, such as the substrate ratio, reaction temperature, and reaction time, on the interesterification reaction was investigated systematically. More than 90% LCSL was obtained at 80 °C within 1 h when the methyl stearate/tributyrin molar ratio of 2:1 was employed. The obtained solid catalyst could be recovered easily and reused for several recycles with a negligible loss of activity. By using the solid base catalyst, an eco-friendly more benign process for the interesterification reaction in a heterogeneous manner was developed.
