Abstract
In this research, Fe3O4@SiO2@NTMPThio-Cu was introduced as a novel and green heterogeneous nanocatalyst with a dendrimer template that is environmentally friendly and reusable based on Fe3O4@SiO2. In this way, magnetic silica nanoparticles were first modified with cyanuric chloride, followed by melamine and thiosemicarbazide, and ultimately, it's decorated with the cost-effective metal copper. The synthesized nanocatalyst was characterized by various analyses such as FT-IR, XRD, SEM, TGA, and EDX. The efficiency of Fe3O4@SiO2@NTMPThio-Cu was measured in one-pot synthesis of xanthene and spirooxindole-pyran derivatives under mild solvent-free conditions. High efficiency, excellent yield of products, mild reaction conditions, simple operation, no use of toxic organic solvents, and reusability of this catalyst increase the attractiveness of this technique for large-scale environmentally friendly operations.

Abstract
Selective oxidation of thioethers is an important reaction to obtain sulfoxides as synthetic intermediates for applications in the chemical industry, medicinal chemistry and biology or the destruction of warfare agents. The reduced Magneli-type tungsten oxide WO3-x possesses a unique oxidase-like activity which facilitates the oxidation of thioethers to the corresponding sulfoxides. More than 90% of the model system methylphenylsulfide could be converted to the sulfoxide with a selectivity of 98% at room temperature within 30 minutes, whereas oxidation to the corresponding sulfone was on a time scale of days. The concentration of the catalyst had a significant impact on the reaction rate. Reasonable catalytic effects were also observed for the selective oxidation of various organic sulfides with different substituents. The WO3-x nanocatalysts could be recycled at least 5 times without decrease in activity. We propose a metal oxide-catalyzed route based on the clean oxidant hydrogen peroxide. Compared to other molecular or enzyme catalysts the WO3-x system is a more robust redox-nanocatalyst, which is not susceptible to decomposition or denaturation under standard conditions. The unique oxidase-like activity of WO3-x can be used for a wide range of applications in synthetic, environmental or medicinal chemistry.

Abstract
Atomically dispersed Fe species embedded in the nitrogen-containing carbon supports (Fe1/NC) are successfully synthesized using a ball milling approach, with commercial protein powder as the nitrogen source. The catalyst exhibits outstanding performance in the oxidation of aromatic compounds containing saturated C-H bonds into corresponding ketones under ambient conditions, which is superior to those of a nanoparticle catalyst (Fen/NC) and a metal-free catalyst (NC).

Abstract
Abstract
Oxidation of cyclohexane is an essential chemical reaction for the industrial manufacture of cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone. These two compounds, together known as ketone–alcohol (KA) oil, are the main feedstock for nylon 6 and nylon 6,6 productions. Several types of catalysts and reaction conditions have been used for cyclohexane oxidation. This paper presents a thorough literature review of catalytic materials used for cyclohexane oxidation to produce KA oil using oxygen, air and other oxidizing agents as well as utilizing different solvents. This review covers research and development reported over the years 2014–2020. This review aims to comprehend the type of catalysts, solvents, oxidants and other reaction parameters used for the oxidation of cyclohexane. Three types of cyclohexane oxidation processes namely thermocatalytic, photocatalytic and microwave-assisted catalytic have been reported. The results of the review showed that metal and metal oxide loaded silica catalysts performed excellently and provided high selectivity of KA oil and cyclohexane conversion. The use of peroxides is not feasible due to their high price compared to air and oxygen. Gold nanoparticles supported on silica performed with high selectivity and good conversion. The use of hydrochloric acid as an additive was found very effective to enhance the photocatalytic oxidation of cyclohexane. Water on the catalyst surface enhanced the reactivity of the photocatalysts since it helps in the generation of hydroxyl radicals.

Abstract
In this work, design and development of a new economically-efficient and environmentally-benign sonochemical-assisted oxidation protocol by using multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and TiO2 hybrid nanostructure catalyst is reported. The structure, morphology and particle size of the nanostructure catalyst and the products were characterized by various methods such as FT-IR, FE-SEM, EDX, XRD, DTA, GC and GC-MS analyses. The selective oxidations of alcohols to aldehydes, ketones and epoxidation were studied in the presence of MWCNTs/TiO2 at room temperature under ultrasonic irradiation conditions in excellent conversions. This is the first design, preparation, characterization and application of the present nanomaterial and also the first ultrasound-irradiated green oxidation. This novel protocol offers several advantages such as environmentally-benign, high yields, selective oxidations, short reaction times, easily isolation of the products, simple preparation, recoverability and reusability of the nanocatalyst without significant decrease in its activity.
