Abstract
In the last past twenty years, research on luminescent platinum (II) complexes has been intensively developed for useful application such as organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). More recently, new photoluminescent complexes based on diazine ligands (pyrimidine, pyrazine, pyridazine, quinazoline and quinoxaline) have been developed in this context. This review will summarize the photophysical properties of most of the phosphorescent diazine Pt(II) complexes described in the literature and compare the results to pyridine analogues whenever possible. Based on the emission color, and the photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) values, the relationship between structure modification, and photophysical properties are highlighted. Tuning of emission color, quantum yields in solution and solid state and, for some complexes, aggregation induced emission (AIE) or thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) properties are described. When emitting OLEDs have been built from diazine Pt(II) complexes, the external quantum efficiency (EQE) values and luminance for different emission wavelengths and in some cases, chromaticity coordinates obtained from devices, are given. Finally, this review highlights the growing interest in studies of new luminescent diazine Pt(II) complexes for OLED applications.

Abstract
The versatile coordination chemistry of (2Z,N'E)-N'-(4-oxothiazolidin-2-ylidene)picolinohydrazonamide (HAmDHotaz) facilitated the synthesis of new complexes with different silver(I) salts. This paper describes the synthesis and characterization, through elemental analysis and spectroscopic techniques (when solubility permits), of a series of compounds that illustrate the coordinative and structural diversity achievable with the HAmDHotaz ligand. Five silver clusters containing the [Ag8(AmDHotaz)4]4+ nucleus were structurally analyzed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and were found to exhibit solvomorphism. The compositions of these are [Ag8(AmDHotaz)4(NO3)3(MeOH)(H2O)](NO3)·MeOH·7.5H2O (1), {[Ag8(AmDHotaz)4(NO3)3(H2O)2](NO3)·9.5(H2O)}n (2), {[Ag8(AmDHotaz)4(NO3)3(H2O)2](NO3)·11.5(H2O)}n (2a), {[Ag8(AmDHotaz)4(NO3)2(H2O)2](NO3)(OH)·6H2O}n (3), and {[Ag8(AmDHotaz)4(NO3)2(H2O)](NO3)(OH)·4.5H2O}n (3a). Argentophilic interactions are present in each of the octanuclear structures, where Ag···Ag distances range from 2.828(2) to 2.986(1) Å. These distances are influenced by crystal packing, determined by the counterion and solvent molecules in the structure. In the solvatomorphs, solvent molecules were observed to be disordered. Various hydrogen-bonding interactions, such as N-H···O-N, O-H···O, N-H···O═C, C-H···O-N, and π-π stacking interactions, contribute to the crystal packing. The influence of these weak interactions on the crystal packing was further analyzed using DFT calculations and Bader's theory of atoms-in-molecules, with a focus on argentophilic interactions and Ag···S interactions.

Abstract
2D magnets provoke a surge of interest in large anisotropy in reduced dimensions and are promising for next-generation information technology where dynamic magnetic tuning is essential. Until recently, the crucial metal-organic magnet Cr(pyz)2 ·xLiCl·yTHF with considerable high coercivity and high-temperature magnetic order opens up a new platform to control magnetism in metal-organic materials at room temperature. Here, an in-situ chemical tuning route is reported to realize the controllable transformation of low-temperature magnetic order into room-temperature hard magnetism in Cr(pyz)2 ·xLiCl·yTHF. The chemical tuning via electrochemical lithiation and solvation/desolvation exhibits continuously variable magnetic features from cryogenic magnetism to the room-temperature optimum performance of coercivity (Hc ) of 8500 Oe and energy product of 0.6 MGOe. Such chemically flexible tunability of room-temperature magnetism is ascribed to the different degrees of lithiation and solvation that modify the stoichiometry and Cr-pyrazine coordination framework. Furthermore, the additively manufactured hybrid magnets show air stability and electromagnetic induction, providing potential applications. The findings here suggest chemical tuning as a universal approach to control the anisotropy and magnetism of 2D hybrid magnets at room temperature, promising for data storage, magnetic refrigeration, and spintronics.

Abstract
In one pot, the self-assembly of AgNO3 and 2-chloroquinoxaline (2Cl-quinox) in water-ethanol mixture afforded two novel crystalline Ag(I) complexes. The major product is the polymeric complex [Ag(2Cl-quinox)(NO3)]n; (1), while the minor product (2) comprises two molecules which are the monomeric [Ag(2Cl-quinox)2(NO3)]; (2a) and polymeric [Ag(2Cl-quinox)(NO3)]n; (2b) complexes. The single crystal X-ray structure revealed that 1 and 2b are made up of two-dimensional infinite sheets. In contrast, 2a is a monomeric complex which has a highly distorted tetrahedral geometry around Ag(I) center. In all cases, the 2Cl-quinox molecule acts as a terminal monodentate ligand. Complexes 1 and 2b have similar molecular structures and also have almost similar crystal packing. Using Hirshfeld surface analysis, the O…H hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interactions contributed significantly to the molecular packing. Both complexes have broad-spectrum action towards multi drug-resistance bacteria. The most effective function of 2 is against Proteus morganii, with a MIC value of 8 μg/mL. Complex 2 (IC50 = 5.93 ± 0.52 μg/mL) has remarkably greater cytotoxic effect against lung carcinoma (A-549) than cis-platin (IC50 = 7.5 ± 0.69 μg/mL) and AgNO3 (IC50 = 14.7 ± 0.53 μg/mL). The higher Ag-content in 2 could be the main reason for its higher cytotoxicity than 1.

Abstract
An Ag(I)formamidine cluster Ag6L16 (1) and an Ag(I)formamidine coordination polymer Ag7(L2)2 2 (L1 = N,N′-bis(2,6-disopropylphenyl) formamidine dithiocarbamate and L2 = N,N′-mesityl formamidine dithiocarbamate) have been synthesized from the reactions of L1 and L2 with AgNO3 respectively. The complexes were characterized using spectroscopic and analytical methods, including single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In the structure of 1, a six vertex distorted square bi-pyramidal octahedron is formed from an Ag6 core. The N,N′-bis(2,6-disopropylphenyl) formamidine dithiocarbamate ligands stabilize this core through two main –CS2 bridging modes giving a propeller like structure. In the structure of 2, each of the two Ag(I) centers are bridged by two N,N′-mesityl formamidine dithiocarbamate ligands forming 8-member Ag2(CS2)2 metallacycles with an inversion center in the middle of the Ag—Ag argentophilic bond. The metallacycles are connected through Ag—S bonds forming ribbons in the crystallographic a-axis. The Ag(I) centers are coordinated to two N,N′-mesitylformamidine dithiocarbamates through the dithiocarbamate S atoms. The thermal decomposition of complexes 1 and 2 had similar thermograms with one major weight loss activity and the formation of elemental silver particles thereafter.

Abstract
In the last two decades, a tremendous amount of attention has been directed towards the design of antibacterial silver(I)-based materials, including coordination polymers (CPs) built up with a great variety of oxygen and nitrogen-containing ligands. Herein, a family of six new silver(I)-based CPs, having the general stoechiometric formula [Ag(H2DMPMB)(X)] (X = NO3, 1; CF3CO2, 2; CF3SO3, 3; BF4, 4; ClO4, 5; and PF6, 6) and incorporating the flexible ditopic pyrazolyl-type ligand 4,4'-bis((3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)methyl)biphenyl (H2DMPMB), has been prepared by the chemical precipitation method involving the reaction of silver(I) salts with H2DMPMB in the 1:1 molar ratio, in alcohols, or acetonitrile at room temperature for two-hours. The new silver(I)-based polymeric materials were characterized by means of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), elemental analysis (EA), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), allowing for the proposition that their structures comprise one-dimensional chains, with the silver(I) ions mostly assuming a T-shapped stereochemistry completed by the exo-bidentate ligands and counter-anions. The obtained silver(I) CPs showed a remarkable light insensitivity and stability in the air, are insoluble in water and in most common organic solvents, and possess appreciable thermal stabilities spanning the range 250-350 °C. The antibacterial activity of the obtained silver(I) CPs was tested against the Gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) using the Tetrazolium/Formazan test (TTC), by measuring the bacterial viability at different time intervals. The complete reduction of both bacterial strains occurred after 24 h of exposure to all silver(I) CPs, the bacterial viability values for S. aureus reaching 8% for compounds 3, 5, and 6 after only two-hours.

Abstract
It is an enormous challenge to construct high-energy-density materials meeting simultaneously requirements of high energy and excellent stability. In this work, the reaction of a Ag(I) ion with a nitrogen-rich ligand, 1 H-tetrazole-5-acetic acid (H2tza), leads to a novel Ag7-cluster metal-organic framework, [Ag7(tza)3(Htza)2(H2tza)(H2O)] (1), with remarkable high-energy content, stability, and insensitivity. Dramatically, the heating-dehydrated process of 1 produces a new stable energetic material, [Ag7(tza)3(Htza)2(H2tza)] (1a), which features superior energy and undiminished safety performance compared to those of 1.
