Primary Multifocal Small Bowel Follicular Lymphoma Discovered Incidentally on Diagnostic Endoscopy

Duodenal-type follicular lymphoma -a silent tumor

A 79-year-old male, with a past medical history of hypertension, dyslipidemia and type 2 diabetes, underwent routine esophagogastroduodenoscopy and colonoscopy. The patient was asymptomatic, with unremarkable blood tests. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy showed multiple whitish nodular lesions in the first part of the duodenum.

Double strangeness: a young male with intestinal obstruction secondary to gastrointestinal follicular lymphoma

Primary follicular lymphomas (FL) of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract are very rare and constitute < 4 % of all non-Hodgkin's lymphomas at this location. We report our experience with primary FL of the GI tract.
