Abstract
A magnetic polyimide (PI) nanocomposite has been synthesized by phase inversion of PI and simultaneous encapsulation of Fe3O4 nanoparticles. The Fe3O4/PI nanocomposite was characterized by a variety of characterization techniques, including infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms, and vibrating sample magnetometry. The results showed that the prepared nanocomposite had a homogeneous structure, adequate specific surface area (76.1 m2/g) and high saturation magnetization (42.9 emu/g). Using parabens as model analytes, the performance of the Fe3O4/PI nanocomposite as an adsorbent for magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) was evaluated. The extracted parabens were desorbed and determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The parameters affecting the extraction and desorption efficiency of parabens were optimized. Under the optimal conditions, the developed MSPE/GC-MS method was successfully applied to the determination of parabens in cooking wine. The MSPE/GC-MS method exhibited broad linearity (0.2-100 µg/L), low detection limits (0.04-0.05 µg/L), and satisfactory extraction recoveries (79.2 %-113.3 %) with relative standard deviations (RSDs) ranging from 0.7 % to 10.4 %. For real cooking wine samples, the spiked recoveries ranged from 91.7 % to 118.7 % with RSDs of 1.0 %-11.2 %. The results demonstrated that the Fe3O4/PI nanocomposite was an effective adsorbent, and this work provides a novel reference for the easy preparation of magnetic adsorbent materials.

Abstract
Long-term intake of animal-derived foods with excessive fluoroquinolones (FQs) will cause damage to human health, so it is critical to establish a feasible approach for sensitive and rapid monitoring of FQs residues. In this study, a new cyclodextrin modified magnetic metal-organic frameworks (Fe3O4@UiO-66-CD) was successfully synthesized by amidation reaction and applied to magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) for FQs analysis. The adsorption behavior of Fe3O4@UiO-66-CD was consistent with the pseudo-second-order kinetics and Freundlich isothermal adsorption model, which indicated that the designed material had various interactions on FQs, such as host-guest interaction and π-π interaction. The parameters of MSPE were optimized and the determination method of norfloxacin, enrofloxacin, lomefloxacin and gatifloxacin was established by using MSPE combined with ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) and fluorescence detector (FLD). The method validation results displayed that the detection limits were 0.02-0.09 ng/mL, and the RSDs of intra-day and inter-day precision were less than 4.1 and 6.4 %, respectively. In the target FQs analysis of real honey and milk samples, the recoveries at different fortified concentrations were in the ranges of 88.4 % to 108.6 % with RSD ≤ 5.7 %. The results showed that the proposed method was sensitive, accurate and reliable for the determination of trace FQs in animal-derived foods.

Abstract
Herein, a novel homemade electrical device was designed, including two pieces of external neodymium magnets, providing a reciprocating magnetic field to introduce a magnetic-assisted dispersive pipette-tip micro solid-phase extraction. To evaluate the performance efficiency of the proposed method, a novel magnetic calcined GO/SiO2@Co-Fe nanocube sorbent was synthesized, filled into the pipette-tip, exposed to the reciprocating magnetic field, and applied for the preconcentration of some hormone therapy drugs in human biological matrices. The effective adsorption and desorption parameters were optimized using a rotatable central composite design and one-variable-at-a-time approaches. Under the optimized conditions, the target analytes' detection limits were found to be below 0.02 ng mL-1. Moreover, the calibration curves were linear in the range of 0.03-500.00 ng mL-1 (R2 > 0.9966), with RSDs% less than 7.8 %. Eventually, the established method was applied to extract the analytes from breast milk samples, followed by LC-ESI-MS/MS analysis.

Abstract
A novel amino-functionalized zinc ferrite nanoparticles/MXene (ZnFe2O4-NH2/MXene composite which consist of ZnFe2O4-NH2 and single/few layers MXene was designed and synthesized as an efficient extractant for analysis of vitamin B2 in rice first combined with ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). As a result, the single/few layer MXene was tightly attached to the spherical ZnFe2O4-NH2 nanoparticles by electrostatic self-assembly interaction, which present large specific surface area and fast mass transfer rate. The relevant experimental parameters, including the pH of the solution, extraction time, adsorbent amount, desorption solvent, desorption solvent volume and desorption time were investigated and optimized. Under optimum conditions, the ZnFe2O4-NH2/MXene composite exhibited excellent selectivity and adsorption capacity for vitamin B2 through hydrogen bonding interactions and the metal-π complexation interaction. The adsorption kinetics, isotherms, and thermodynamic studies were systemically investigated to evaluate the adsorption mechanism and characteristics, which ascribed to chemical adsorption, monolayer adsorption and a spontaneous endothermic process. Furthermore, the performance of the proved method was validated with the good linear correlation coefficient (r = 0.999), low limit of detection (0.86 ng·mL-1) and the limit of quantification (2.98 ng·mL-1), satisfactory recoveries (81.7-102.5%) and reasonable accuracy (RSD<7.8%). The theoretical and technological underpinning for investigating the kinship amongst vitamin alterations and the degree of rice storage was set using this suggested approach to assess vitamin B2 in rice from various years.

Abstract
Therapeutic drug monitoring is an established practice for a small group of drugs, particularly those presenting narrow therapeutic windows, for which there is a direct relationship between concentration and pharmacological effects at the site of action. Drug concentrations in biological fluids are used, in addition to other clinical observation measures, to assess the patient's status, since they are the support for therapy individualization and allow assessing adherence to therapy. Monitoring these drug classes is of great importance, as it minimizes the risk of medical interactions, as well as toxic effects. In addition, the quantification of these drugs through routine toxicological tests and the development of new monitoring methodologies are extremely relevant for public health and for the well-being of the patient, and it has implications in clinical and forensic situations. In this sense, the use of new extraction procedures that employ smaller volumes of sample and organic solvents, therefore considered miniaturized and green techniques, is of great interest in this field. From these, the use of fabric-phase extractions seems appealing. Noteworthy is the fact that SPME, which was the first of these miniaturized approaches to be used in the early '90s, is still the most used solventless procedure, providing solid and sound results. The main goal of this paper is to perform a critical review of sample preparation techniques based on solid-phase microextraction for drug detection in therapeutic monitoring situations.

Abstract
Folic acid (FA) is essential for human health, particularly for pregnant women and infants. In this work, a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was modified by a bimetallic layer of Cu/Co nanoparticles (CuNPs/CoNPs) as a synergistic amplification element by simple step-by-step electrodeposition, and was used for sensitive detection of FA. The proposed CuNPs/CoNPs/GCE sensor was characterized by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). Then, under optimal conditions, a linear relationship was obtained in the wide range of 110.00-1750.00 μM for the detection of FA with a limit of detection (LOD) of 34.79 μM (S/N = 3). The sensitivity was calculated as 0.096 μA μM-1 cm-2. Some interfering compounds including glucose (Glc), biotin, dopamine (DA), and glutamic acid (Glu) showed little effect on the detection of FA by amperometry (i-t). Finally, the average recovery obtained was in a range of 91.77-110.06%, with a relative standard deviation (RSD) less than 8.00% in FA tablets, indicating that the proposed sensor can accurately and effectively detect the FA content in FA tablets.

Abstract
Rice is an important crop that provides energy and nutrients to humans, which undergoes the aging process, the quality decline is related to the exogenous storage conditions and the change of own enzyme activity. However, due to the complex composition of rice and serious matrix interference, the ageing identification of rice is still challenging. Hence, a novel spinel particles ZnFe2O4@PANI was designed and synthesized for adsorption and determination of vitamin B9, which can be used to distinguish rice in different years and analyze the degree of aging. The ZnFe2O4@PANI showed large specific surface area and fast mass transfer rate with good linear correlation coefficient (R2 = 0.9965), satisfactory recoveries (85.1%-99.9%) and relative standard deviations (RSD, 9.3%). Moreover, the π-π electron-donor-acceptor (EDA) and intermolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions of polyaniline coating provided selective adsorption on vitamin B9. Adsorption thermodynamics study suggested that the adsorption reactions were spontaneous, endothermic and thermodynamically favorable. Finally, ZnFe2O4@PANI was used to evaluate vitamin B9 in rice from different years, which laid a theoretical foundation for exploring the relationship between vitamin changes and the aging degree of the rice.
