Exploration on the Application Path of College English MOOCS Teaching under the Background of Internet of Things

While the development of information and communication technology has brought great changes to social industrial structure and economic development, it has also reshaped people's cognition and thinking modes to a great extent and has paid attention to the field of education under the guidance of technology. The reform of education is taking place. According to the background of the Internet of things, the teaching quality evaluation index is reconstructed with the help of principal component analysis, support vector machine, and fuzzy algorithms, and the application performance and practical results of the improved teaching path are analyzed. The results show that the evaluation accuracy of the improved hybrid algorithm for teaching quality reaches more than 90%, and its evaluation time is far less than that of the SVM algorithm (10.23 s), and it has a good application effect on the evaluation of teaching quality. The increase of students' satisfaction with the improved teaching quality has reached 5.8%, and their professional skills have improved by 6–25 points. After expert evaluation, it is found that the maximum satisfaction frequency of teaching content and teaching effect can reach 96.7% and 91.3%, respectively. Reconstructing the index system of the English path under the background of the Internet of things can better grasp students' learning needs and integrate multiple methods to provide new research ideas for follow-up English teaching.

Immersion Teaching Method of Business English Based on Virtual Reality Technology

In order to solve the problem of students’ low performance under the traditional business English immersion teaching method, the business English immersion teaching method is designed based on virtual reality technology. Based on the virtual reality technology, the virtual reality teaching courseware of business English is constructed, and the teaching virtual page is designed to simulate the negotiation of business trade English, and its virtual reality teaching function can be realised. At the same time, the teaching evaluation mechanism is established, the teaching content and method are adjusted in real time, and the method design is completed. The results show that the final scores of the students in the experimental class are generally higher than those in the ordinary class, which can solve the problem of students’ low scores under the traditional teaching methods.

Multimodality and Computational Intelligence-Enabled Intercultural Communicative Competence of College-English-Teaching Students

With the intensification of global economic integration, international exchanges have become increasingly frequent, and employers have put forward higher requirements for ICC (Intercultural Communication Competence) of college students. In this paper, in ICC mode, the multimodal evaluation model framework of ICC is constructed by using multimodal theory. The evaluation object is Chinese college students, the evaluation media are computers and networks, and the evaluation contents include knowledge, consciousness, speculation, attitude, skills, and strategies of cross-cultural communication. The research results will help Chinese college students overcome their fears during the cross-cultural communications, meanwhile,can strengthen the cultivation of ICC for students as well. After comprehensive consideration of various influencing factors, comparing the overall teaching quality of universities of different grades or the same grade can objectively reflect the overall teaching level of the university, hoping to provide some reference for the application of multimodal discourse analysis theory and CET (college English teaching).

Optimization of Business English Teaching Based on the Integration of Interactive Virtual Reality Genetic Algorithm

With the continuous advancement of the global economy and the deepening of internationalization and openness, it is also necessary to keep pace with the times in the optimization of business English teaching. At this point, a genetic algorithm based on the interactive virtual reality (VR) should be established for the optimization of business English teaching to adapt to the future trend in business English teaching optimization more appropriately. The results of the simulation experiment indicate that the improved algorithm designed in this article can reduce the computational overhead of the meta-algorithm to a great extent, and the improvement strategy is designed based on the evaluation results of practical examples.
