Abstract
OPINION STATEMENT: Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT), characterized by intermediate malignancy and a propensity for recurrence, has presented a formidable clinical challenge in diagnosis and treatment. Its pathological characteristics may resemble other neoplasms or reactive lesions, and the treatment was limited, taking chemotherapies as the only option for those inoperable. However, discovering anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) protein expression in approximately 50% of IMT cases has shed light on a new diagnostic approach and application of targeted therapies. With the previous success of combating ALK+ non-small-cell lung cancers with ALK tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), crizotinib, a first-generation ALK-TKI, was officially approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 2020, to treat unresectable ALK+ IMT. After the approval of crizotinib, other ALK-TKIs, such as ceritinib, alectinib, brigatinib, and lorlatinib, have proven their efficacy on ALK+ IMT with sporadic case reports. The sequential treatments of targeted therapies in may provide the insight into the choice of ALK-TKIs in different lines of treatment for unresectable ALK+ IMT.

Abstract
PURPOSE Acceleration of MRI acquisitions and especially of T2-weighted sequences is essential to reduce the duration of MRI examinations but also kinetic artifacts in liver imaging. The purpose of this study was to compare the acquisition time and the image quality of a single-shot fat-suppressed turbo spin-echo (TSE) T2-weighted sequence with deep learning reconstruction (HASTEDL) with that of a fat-suppressed T2-weighted BLADE TSE sequence in patients with focal liver lesions. MATERIALS AND METHODS Ninety-five patients (52 men, 43 women; mean age: 61 ± 14 [SD]; age range: 28-87 years) with 42 focal liver lesions (17 hepatocellular carcinomas, 10 sarcoidosis lesions, 9 myeloma lesions, 3 liver metastases and 3 focal nodular hyperplasias) who underwent liver MRI at 1.5 T including HASTEDL and BLADE sequences were retrospectively included. Overall image quality, noise level in the liver, lesion conspicuity and sharpness of liver lesion contours were assessed by two independent readers. Liver signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and lesion contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) were measured and compared between the two sequences, as well as the mean duration of the sequences (Student t-test or Wilcoxon test for paired data). RESULTS Median overall quality on HASTEDL images (3; IQR: 3, 3) was significantly greater than that on BLADE images (2; IQR: 1, 3) (P < 0.001). Median noise level in the liver on HASTEDL images (0; IQR: 0, 0.5) was significantly lower than that on BLADE images (1; IQR: 1, 2) (P < 0.001). On HASTEDL images, mean liver SNR (107.3 ± 39.7 [SD]) and mean focal liver lesion CNR (87.0 ± 76.6 [SD]) were significantly greater than those on BLADE images (67.1 ± 23.8 [SD], P < 0.001 and 48.6 ± 43.9 [SD], P = 0.027, respectively). Acquisition time was significantly shorter with the HASTEDL sequence (18 ± [0] s; range: 18-18 s) compared to BLADE sequence (152 ± 47 [SD] s; range: 87-263 s) (P < 0.001). CONCLUSION By comparison with the BLADE sequence, HASTEDL sequence significantly reduces acquisition time while improving image quality, liver SNR and focal liver lesions CNR.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors (IMTs) are rare intermediate-grade neoplasms that have a high recurrence rate after excision and exhibit low metastatic potential. These tumors contain proliferating neoplastic, fibroblastic and myofibroblastic cells, and are also characterized by chronic inflammatory infiltration by lymphocytes, plasma cells, eosinophils, and histiocytes. They belong to the group of inflammatory spindle cell lesions. Some reactive lesions, such as inflammatory pseudotumors, may appear to be IMTs, which makes their differential diagnosis extremely difficult. The aim of this article is to compile the recent information on IMTs to aid in their diagnosis and treatment. METHODS We reviewed articles published between 2017 and 2021, which were selected from online medical databases. In addition, some earlier articles and latest scientific monographies were analyzed. RESULTS The terminology used for inflammatory spindle cell lesions seems to be confusing. The terms "inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors" and "inflammatory pseudotumors" are interchangeably used by many scientists. However, a detailed analysis of the development of terminology suggests that the term "inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors" should be used to refer to a neoplastic lesion. CONCLUSIONS IMTs are rare neoplasms, which have not been investigated in detail due to the difficulty in collecting a large number of cases. Thus, our knowledge about this disease remains unsatisfactory. Recently developed techniques such as next-generation sequencing and computer-aided histopathological diagnosis may be useful in understanding the etiopathology of IMTs, which will help in the selection of the most appropriate therapy for patients.

Abstract
PURPOSE To compare the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features of benign liver lesions developed on Budd-Chiari syndrome (BCS) with those on Fontan-associated liver disease (FALD) and to describe their long-term progression. MATERIALS AND METHODS Patients with BCS or FALD who underwent MRI between 2010 and 2020 were retrospectively included. MRI features of nodules (≥ 5 mm) at baseline and at final follow-up were reviewed. The final diagnosis of benign lesion was based on a combination of clinical and biological data and findings at follow-up MRI examination. RESULTS Two-hundred and thirty benign liver lesions in 39 patients with BCS (10 men, 29 women; mean age, 36 ± 11 [SD] years; age range: 15-66 years) and 84 benign lesions in 14 patients with FALD (2 men, 12 women; mean age, 31 ± 10 [SD] years; age range: 20-48 years) were evaluated. On baseline MRI, BCS nodules were more frequently hyperintense on T1-weighted (183/230, 80%) and hypointense on T2-weighted (142/230; 62%) images, while FALD nodules were usually isointense on both T1- (70/84; 83%) and T2-weighted (64/84; 76%) images (all P< 0.01). Most lesions showed arterial phase hyperenhancement (222/230 [97%] vs. 80/84 [95%] in BCS and FALD, respectively; P = 0.28) but wash-out was more common in BCS (64/230 [28%] vs. 9/84 [11%]; P < 0.01). At follow-up, changes were more frequent in BCS nodules with more frequent disappearance (P < 0.01), changes in size, signal intensity on T2-weighted, portal, and delayed phase, and in the depiction of washout and capsule (all P ≤ 0.03). CONCLUSION MRI features of benign lesions are different at diagnosis and during the course of the disease between BCS and FALD. Changes in size and MRI features are more frequent in benign lesions developed in BCS.

Abstract
PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to compare the value of contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) to that of magnetic resonance imaging obtained with extracellular contrast agent (ECA-MRI) for the diagnosis of a tumor capsule in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) using histopathologic findings as the standard of reference. MATERIALS AND METHODS This retrospective study included patients with pathologically-proven resected HCCs with available preoperative contrast-enhanced CT and ECA-MRI examinations. Two blinded radiologists independently reviewed contrast-enhanced CT and ECA-MRI examinations to assess the presence of an enhancing capsule. The histopathological analysis of resected specimens was used as reference for the diagnosis of a tumor capsule. The sensitivity and specificity of CT and ECA-MRI for the diagnosis of a tumor capsule were determined, and an intra-individual comparison of imaging modalities was performed using McNemar test. Inter-reader agreement was assessed using Kappa test. RESULTS The study population included 199 patients (157 men, 42 women; mean age: 61.3 ± 13.0 [SD] years) with 210 HCCs (mean size 56.7 ± 43.7 [SD] mm). A tumor capsule was present in 157/210 (74.8%) HCCs at histopathologic analysis. Capsule enhancement was more frequently visualized on ECA-MRI (R1, 68.6%; R2, 71.9%) than on CT (R1, 44.3%, P < 0.001; R2, 47.6%, P < 0.001). The sensitivity of ECA-MRI was better for the diagnosis of histopathological tumor capsule (R1, 76.4%; R2, 79.6%; P < 0.001), while CT had a greater specificity (R1, 84.9%; R2, 83.0%; P < 0.001). Inter-reader agreement was moderate both on CT (kappa = 0.55; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.43-0.66) and ECA-MRI (kappa = 0.57; 95% CI: 0.45-0.70). CONCLUSION Capsule enhancement was more frequently visualized on ECA-MRI than on CT. The sensitivity of ECA-MRI was greater than that of CT, but the specificity of CT was better than that of ECA-MRI.

Abstract
Hepatic calcifications have been increasingly identified over the past decade due to the widespread use of high-resolution Computed Tomography (CT) imaging. Calcifications can be seen in a vast spectrum of common and uncommon diseases, from benign to malignant, including cystic lesions, solid neoplastic masses, and inflammatory focal lesions. The purpose of this paper is to present an updated review of CT imaging findings of a wide range of calcified hepatic focal lesions, which can help radiologists to narrow the differential diagnosis.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma (FLHCC) is an unusual variant of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Revealing the imaging features is important to the diagnosis of FLHCC. OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to investigate the imaging characteristics of FLHCCs. METHODS This retrospective study included 29 patients with histopathologically proved FLHCC and 96 patients proved HCC. All patients underwent an ultrasound examination pre-operation. RESULTS The average maximum diameters of the FLHCC and HCC lesions were 7.4±4.1 cm and 4.1±3.0 cm, respectively. On the ultrasound, 79.3% of the FLHCCs and 12.3% of the HCCs showed the internal hyperechoic area; 48.3% of the FLHCCs and 3.3% of the HCCs displayed a strip-like attenuation. Calcification was noted in 20.7% of the FLHCCs, while none in HCCs. On the contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS), all FLHCC lesions and 87.7% of the HCCs displayed hyperenhancement in the arterial phase. An internal, unenhanced central scar appeared in all FLHCCs, while none in HCCs. CONCLUSIONS The ultrasonographic features of FLHCC lesions indicate that they are relatively large masses showing the internal hyperechoic area or strip-like attenuation or calcification on the US and hypervascularity with an unenhanced central scar on the CEUS as compared with conventional HCC lesions.

Abstract
PURPOSE LI-RADS v2018 diagnostic system is used to diagnose hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in at risk patients. However, its applicability to HCC in non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) has not been specifically studied. The purpose of this study was to assess the applicability of LI-RADS v2018 diagnostic system for HCC in patients with NASH. MATERIALS AND METHODS The MRI examinations of 41 patients with HCC and NASH (NASH group) were reviewed and compared to those obtained in 41 patients with HCC and virus-induced chronic liver disease (Virus group). MRI examinations of the two groups were compared for imaging presentation, LI-RADS major criteria and LI-RADS categorization. Qualitative variables were compared using Fisher exact test and quantitative variables using Mann-Whitney U test Interreader agreement was assessed using kappa statistic. RESULTS No significant differences in qualitative and quantitative variables were observed between the two groups. Most common findings in the two groups were hyperenhancement during the arterial phase and visibility on T2-weighted images (93 % vs. 98 %, P = 0.616 and 85 % vs. 88 %, P = 1.000 for NASH group and Virus group, respectively). No differences in prevalence between the two groups were found for any major LI-RADS v2018 criterion. Interreader agreement for LI-RADS categorization was strong for the NASH group (kappa = 0.802) and moderate for the virus group (kappa = 0.720). No differences were found between the two groups for LI-RADS categories (P = 0.303). CONCLUSIONS The LI-RADS v2018 diagnostic algorithm can be applied in patients with NASH.
