Abstract
Pyraclostrobin, a widely used fungicide, poses significant risks to both the environment and human health. However, research on the microbial degradation process of pyraclostrobin was scarce. Here, a pyraclostrobin-degrading strain, identified as Burkholderia sp. Pyr-1, was isolated from activated sludge. Pyraclostrobin was efficiently degraded by strain Pyr-1, and completely eliminated within 6 d in the presence of glucose. Additionally, pyraclostrobin degradation was significantly enhanced by the addition of divalent metal cations (Mn2+ and Cu2+). The degradation pathway involving ether bond and N-O bond cleavage was proposed by metabolite identification. The sodium alginate-immobilized strain Pyr-1 had a higher pyraclostrobin removal rate from contaminated lake water than the free cells. Moreover, the toxicity evaluation demonstrated that the metabolite 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-1H-pyrazol-3-ol significantly more effectively inhibited Chlorella ellipsoidea than pyraclostrobin, while its degradation products by strain Pyr-1 alleviated the growth inhibition of C. ellipsoidea, which confirmed that the low-toxic metabolites were generated from pyraclostrobin by strain Pyr-1. The study provides a potential strain Pyr-1 for the bioremediation in pyraclostrobin-contaminated aquatic environments.

Abstract
Picoxystrobin is a systemic fungicide widely used on potato, citrus fruit, and Dendrobium officinale. To provide information for the risk assessment of potato, citrus, and Dendrobium officinale, field experiments combined with QuEChERS and HPLC-MS/MS were performed to detect picoxystrobin. Picoxystrobin had good linearity (R2 > 0.99), the average recovery rate was 75 - 102%, and the relative standard deviation was 1 - 11%. Picoxystrobin was utilized as the test agent in field experiments, and samples were evaluated and analyzed at various times after the final application utilizing random sampling. The results showed that picoxystrobin residuals in potato and citrus (orange meat) were ˂ 0.01 mg kg-1, whereas those in citrus whole fruit, D. officinale (fresh), and D. officinale (dried) were < 0.05 - 0.084, 0.16 - 3.82, and 0.34 - 9.05 mg kg-1, respectively. Based on these results, both the acute risk quotient (2.77%) and chronic risk quotient (8.7%) were ˂100%, and the dietary risk assessment indicated that the intake of picoxystrobin residues in potato, citrus fruit, and D. officinale did not pose a health risk. This study can guide the reasonable use of picoxystrobin in potato, citrus fruit, and D. officinale.

Abstract
Picoxystrobin (PIC) is a fungicide extensively used for disease control in both crops and vegetables. Residues of PIC in vegetables pose a potential threat to human health due to their accumulation in the food chain. In this study, a specific PIC monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by introducing a carboxylic acid arm into PIC and subsequently preparing a hapten and an artificial antigen. A sensitive and rapid time-resolved fluorescence immunochromatographic assay (TRFICA) was established based on the mAb. Subsequently, using a time-resolved fluorescent microsphere (TRFM) as signal probe, mAbs and microspheres were covalently coupled. The activated pH, the mAb diluents, the mAb amount, and the probe amount were optimized. Under optimized conditions, the quantitative limits of detection (qLOD) of PIC in cucumber, green pepper, and tomato using TRFICA were established at 0.61, 0.26, and 3.44 ng/mL, respectively; the 50% inhibiting concentrations (IC50) were 11.76, 5.29, and 37.68 ng/mL, respectively. The linear ranges were 1.81-76.71, 0.80-35.04, and 8.32-170.55 ng/mL, respectively. The average recovery in cucumber, green pepper, and tomato samples ranged from 79.8% to 105.0%, and the corresponding coefficients of variation (CV) were below 14.2%. In addition, 15 vegetable samples were selected and compared with the results obtained using ultra-performance liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). The results revealed a high degree of concordance between the proposed method and UPLC-MS/MS. In conclusion, the devised TRFICA method is a valuable tool for rapid, on-site, and highly sensitive detection of PIC residues in vegetables.

Abstract
Pyraclostrobin is a new broad-spectrum methoxyacrylic acid fungicide. Cyazofamid is a new selective foliar spray acaricide. Here, we studied the degradation rate and final residues of pyraclostrobin and cyazofamid in grape and evaluated their dietary risk to consumers. The average recoveries of pyraclostrobin ether ester, cyazofamid and cyazofamid metabolite (CCIM) in grapes were 84-94%, 92-98% and 99-104%, respectively. The relative standard deviations (RSDs) were 6.0-20.3%, 2.4-10.5% and 1.3-4.0%, respectively, and the LOQs were all 0.05 mg/kg. The digestion dynamics of the experimental sites were in accordance with the first-order kinetic equation. The degradation half-lives of pyraclostrobin ether ester and cyazofamid were 17.8 d-28.9 d and 4.3 d-7.8 d, respectively. The final residues of pyraclostrobin ether ester, cyazofamid and CCIM in grapes were <0.05-1.88 mg/kg, <0.05-0.31 mg/kg and <0.05-0.47 mg/kg, respectively. Using probability models, the total chronic risk values for pyraclostrobin and cyazofamid were calculated to be 0.112-189.617% and 0.021-1.714%, respectively. The results of the contribution analysis indicate that pyraclostrobin poses a much greater risk to Chinese consumers than cyazofamid, especially to children and adolescents, who have a significantly greater risk than adults. This suggests that more consideration should be given to the cumulative risk of compounds for vulnerable groups in the future.

Abstract
Pyraclostrobin is a highly effective and broad-spectrum strobilurin fungicide. With the widespread use of pyraclostrobin to prevent and control crop diseases, its environmental pressure and potential safety risks to humans have attracted much attention. Herein, the toxicological risks of pyraclostrobin toward HepG2 cells and the mechanisms of intoxication in vitro were investigated. The liver toxicity of pyraclostrobin in zebrafish larvae was also evaluated. It was found that pyraclostrobin induced DNA damage and reactive oxygen species generation in HepG2 cells, indicating the potential genotoxicity of pyraclostrobin. The results of fluorescent staining experiments and the expression of cytochrome c, Bcl-2 and Bax demonstrated that pyraclostrobin induced mitochondrial dysfunction, resulting in cell apoptosis. Monodansylcadaverine staining and autophagy marker-related proteins LC3, p62, Beclin-1 protein expression showed that pyraclostrobin promoted cell autophagy. Furthermore, immunoblotting analysis suggested that pyraclostrobin induced autophagy accompanied with activation of adenosine 5'-monophosphate (AMP)-activated protein kinase (AMPK)/mTOR signaling pathway. Visualization of zebrafish liver and oil red staining indicated that pyraclostrobin could induce liver degeneration and liver steatosis in zebrafish. Collectively, these results help to better understand the hepatotoxicity of pyraclostrobin and provide a scientific basis for its safe applications and risk control.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHI) fungicides are an important class of agricultural fungicides with the advantages of high efficiency and a broad bactericidal spectrum. To pursue novel SDHIs, a series of N-substituted dithiin tetracarboximide derivatives were designed, synthesized, and characterized by 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR, and high resolution mass spectrum (HRMS). RESULTS These engineered compounds displayed potent fungicidal activity against phytopathogens, including Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Botrytis cinerea, and Rhizoctonia solani, comparable with that of the commercial SDHI fungicide boscalid. In particular, compound 18 stood out with prominent activity against S. sclerotiorum with a half-maximal effective concentration (EC50 ) value of 1.37 μg ml-1 . Compound 1 exhibited the most potent antifungal activity against B. cinerea with EC50 values of 5.02 μg ml-1 . As for R. solani, 12 and 13 exhibited remarkably inhibitory activity with EC50 values of 4.26 and 5.76 μg ml-1 , respectively. In the succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) inhibition assay, 13 presented significant inhibitory activity with a half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50 ) value of 15.3 μm, which was approximately equivalent to that of boscalid (14.2 μm). Furthermore, molecular docking studies revealed that 13 could anchor in the binding site of SDH. CONCLUSION Taken together, results suggested that the dithiin tetracarboximide scaffold possessed a huge potential to be developed as novel fungicides and SDHIs. © 2023 Society of Chemical Industry.

Abstract
To evaluate the residue levels of fluopimomide, pyraclostrobin and its metabolite BF-500-3 in garlic ecosystems, supervised garlic field trials with a commercial formulation (pyraclostrobin·fluopimomide 30% suspension concentrate (SC)) were conducted in six regions of China according to the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). The residues of fluopimomide, pyraclostrobin and BF-500-3 in field samples were determined using a QuEChERS method combined with high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). The average recoveries of all target compounds were 76-94% with relative standard deviations (RSDs) of 1.0-14.5% and limits of quantitation (LOQs) of 0.002 mg/kg. At the recommended pre-harvest interval (PHI, 10 days), the residues of fluopimomide, pyraclostrobin and BF-500-3 were below 0.16, 0.77 and 0.12 mg/kg in garlic chive; below 0.027, 0.22 and 0.002 mg/kg in garlic scape; and below 0.002, 0.002 and 0.002 mg/kg in garlic, respectively. Dietary intake risks were calculated using risk quotients (RQs) based on field residual data, toxicological data and dietary patterns. The chronic dietary risk quotients (RQc) of pyraclostrobin and fluopimomide were 48.42% and 0.36%, respectively. The acute dietary risk quotients (RQa) of pyraclostrobin in garlic were 0.06-0.15%. These results indicated a low dietary risk for consumers. This study could provide scientific guidance for the application of pyraclostrobin and fluopimomide in garlic.

Abstract
In view of the significance of food safety and the possible relationship between residual enrichment and acute toxicity for pesticides in different aquatic organisms, it is essential to establish a sensitive and reliable determination method for pesticides in different aquatic organisms to analyze the enrichment levels. Quinone outside inhibitor fungicides (QoIs) are lipophilic fungicides that pose environmental threats to aquatic organisms. Previous research has mainly focused on QoI residues in aquatic organisms under chronic toxicity, whereas less is known about how pesticide residues differ among aquatic organism under acutely toxic conditions. In the present study, the residues of QoIs in aquatic organisms (Danio rerio, Rana pipiens, Cherax quadricarinatus, Misgurnus anguillicaudatus, Corbicula fluminea, and Ampullaria gigas) were analyzed by ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) coupled with a proposed QuEChERS method. The proposed method was validated in terms of linearity (coefficients of determination of 0.9980-0.9999), the limits of quantification (0.01 μg·kg-1), the relative standard deviation (0.6-4.4%), and recovery (70.12-118.15%). The results demonstrated that the proposed method fulfilled the requirements for pesticide analysis in all tested aquatic organisms. The residues of QoIs in the same aquatic organism exposed to QoI concentrations of 5 and 500 μg L-1 decreased in the order pyraoxystrobin > pyraclostrobin > triclopyricarb > picoxystrobin > azoxystrobin > fluoxastrobin. Furthermore, the acute toxicity was strongly correlated with the enrichment level of the QoIs in aquatic organisms. This study provides the first documentation of a correlation between the enrichment level of QoIs and acute toxicity in aquatic organisms, which provides a basis for the management of agrochemicals considering aquatic ecological risks.

Abstract
Pesticides are widely used to protect crops but can also threaten public health as they can remain in the environment for a long time. Additionally, some transformation products (TPs) of unknown toxicity, stability, or bioaccumulation properties can further be formed from the hydrolysis, photolysis and biodegradation of pesticides. The identification and quantification of those TPs can be challenging for environmental regulation and risk assessment due to a limited understanding about them. In this study, a suspect screening strategy for pesticide application history was developed and then used to organic products (tea). Liquid chromatography coupled to high-resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS) was used to screen and identify the TPs in crops and their toxicity was subsequently predicted with the open-source software (ECOSAR and admetSAR). Finally, the SIRIUS software was applied and 142 TPs from 20 pesticides were identified in tea plants based on the fragmentation-degradation relationship. Of these, standards (level 1) and 53 were considered as tentatively identified (levels 2a and 2b). Some TPs were also found to be present in tea plants and soil after 65 days, thus indicating higher persistency or stability than parent pesticides. While others from diafenthiuron and neonicotinoids had higher predicted toxicity of daphnid, and demonstrated positive for honeybee toxicity. Suspect screening is a powerful tool to screen pesticide TPs on the complex matrix of crops. Such screening can provide potential evidence of pesticide application, especially in cases of illegal practices in organic farming.

Abstract
The chemical insecticide flonicamid is widely used to control aphids on crops. Differences among crops make the universality of detection methods a particularly important consideration. The aim of this study was to establish a universal, sensitive, accurate and efficient method for the determination of flonicamid residues in peach, cucumber, cabbage and cotton. QuEChERS pretreatment was combined with ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS). A satisfactory recovery rate of 84.3-99.3% was achieved at three spiking levels, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) was 0.41-5.95%. The limit of quantification (LOQ) of flonicamid in the four matrices was 0.01 mg/kg. The residue and dissipation kinetics of flonicamid in four types of crops in various locations were determined by using the optimized method. The results showed that flonicamid had a high dissipation rate in the four different types of crops and a half-life in the different matrices and locations of 2.28-9.74 days. The terminal residue of flonicamid was lower than the maximum residue limit (MRL). The risk quotient (RQ) of flonicamid was 4.4%, which is significantly lower than 100%. This result shows that the dietary risk presented by using flonicamid at the maximum recommended dose is low and acceptable. The comprehensive long-term dietary risk assessment of flonicamid performed in this study provides a reference for the protection of consumer health and safe insecticide use.

Abstract
The frequent and massive use of pesticides has led to pesticide residues in apricot, threatening food safety and human health. A reliable and simple modified QuEChERS method with ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was developed for the simultaneous determination of 11 pesticides in apricot. Method validation indicated that satisfied linearity (R2 ≥ 0.9959), accuracy (recoveries of 72-119%), sensitivity (limits of detection, 0.03-0.30 μg/kg; limits of quantification, 0.13-1.00 μg/kg), and precision (relative standard deviations ≤ 11.9%), and matrix effects were 0.89-1.13. Apricot samples from different ecological regions in China were collected and tested using the proposed methods. Monitoring results were used to assess the dietary intake risk of Chinese populations of different ages and genders. Dietary risk assessment revealed that the risk quotients were 0.003-1.184% for different gender and age groups in China, indicating none unacceptable public health risk for general population. This work was thus significant in developing a simpler, more efficient and economical analysis method and food safety risks of the 11 pesticides on apricot and facilitated the establishment of maximum residue limits.

Abstract
Fritillaria (Beimu in Chinese) is a well-known traditional Chinese medicinal herbal and valuable health food, which has attracted more and more attention. In this study, an efficient method was developed to determine pyraclostrobin, fluxapyroxad, difenoconazole, and azoxystrobin in plants, fresh Fritillaria, dry Fritillaria, and soil via liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. The average recoveries of the method were 78.9-109.7% with relative standard deviations of 0.94-11.1%. The dissipation half-lives of the four fungicides were 4.4-7.7 days in the Fritillaria plant and 11.6-18.2 days in the soil. The terminal residues of four fungicides were 0.033-0.13 mg/kg in fresh Fritillaria, 0.096-0.42 mg/kg in dry Fritillaria, and 0.12-0.74 mg/kg in soil. In the risk assessment of dietary exposure, all the chronic hazard quotient and acute hazard quotient index values were far below 100%, which were both acceptable to consumers. Accordingly, 7 days was recommended as the pre-harvest interval for the four fungicides in Fritillaria. This work could guide the safe use of these fungicides in Fritillaria and also give a reference for the Chinese government to establish the maximum residue limits (MRLs).

Abstract
Pyraclostrobin is a fungicide extensively used for the control of various fungal diseases and is frequently detected in environmental samples. Natural systems, such as constructed wetlands (CWs) and gravity filters, are effective and environmentally friendly treatment systems, which can reduce or eliminate pesticides from the environment. The aim of this study was to investigate the capacity of two pilot-scale CWs (porous media: cobbles and fine gravel, planted with Phragmites australis) and six gravity filters (filling material: bauxite, carbonate gravel and zeolite) to remove pyraclostrobin from polluted water originating from spraying equipment rinsing sites. For this, experiments were conducted to test the performance of the above natural systems in removing this fungicide. The results showed that the mean percent pyraclostrobin removal efficiencies for cobbles and fine gravel CW units were 56.7% and 75.2%, respectively, and the mean percent removals for HRTs of 6 and 8 days were 68.7% and 62.8%, respectively. The mean removal efficiencies for the bauxite, carbonate gravel and zeolite filter units were 32.5%, 36.7% and 61.2%, respectively, and the mean percent removals for HRTs 2, 4 and 8 days were 39.9%, 43.4% and 44.1%, respectively. Regarding the feeding strategy, the mean removal values of pyraclostrobin in gravity filter units were 43.44% and 40.80% for continuous and batch feeding, respectively. Thus, these systems can be used in rural areas for the treatment of spraying equipment rinsing water.

Abstract
Pyraclostrobin(PCT) is a highly effective and broad-spectrum strobilurin fungicide. The mode action of PCT is inhibiting mitochondrial respiration. With the widespread use of PCT in preventing and controlling crop diseases, its potential safety risks to mammals have gradually attracted attention. This paper focuses on the cytotoxicity of PCT and its molecular mechanism, RAW264.7 macrophages were selected as a research model and conducted systematic toxicology studies in vitro, including MTT assay, colony formation assay, alkaline comet assay, fluorescent staining, ATP assay and Western blotting. The results revealed that PCT decreased viability and inhibited the proliferation of RAW264.7 cells in a concentration- dependent manner. Interestingly, PCT induced DNA damage, the resulting autophagosome, the accumulation of Beclin-1, the reduction of p62, the translocation and the formation of LC3-II. Furthermore, the results showed that PCT-induced the production of excessive ROS, leading to mitochondrial permeability transition pore (mPTP) opening, ATP depletion, and the elimination of mitochondria by autophagy. Furthermore, PCT treatment group significantly enhanced the phosphorylation level of AMPK, decreased the mTOR and p70s6k phosphorylation levels and activated the AMPK/mTOR signaling pathway in RAW264.7 cells. In conclusion, these results showed that PCT induced autophagy in the RAW264.7 cells might potentially have risks to mammal safety.

Abstract
In this paper, magnetic zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 composites were synthesized by a simple in situ method and then used for the first time as an adsorbent in magnetic solid-phase extraction for extracting multiple strobilurin fungicides. The magnetic composites were characterized in detail. The results showed that Fe3O4 nanoparticles were attached on the surface of zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 with a uniform particle size of 150-200 nm and that the magnetic composites possessed a perfect molecular transfer rate towards strobilurin fungicides. The parameters of the magnetic solid-phase extraction process, including solution pH, adsorption time, solution volume, elution solvent, and elution volume, were investigated. Under the optimum conditions, the recoveries of all five fungicides fell within the range 80.8-109.0% with spiking levels of 10, 20 and 50 ng mL-1. A magnetic solid-phase extraction-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method based on the magnetic composites was established and confirmed to be simple, time-efficient and highly sensitive.

Abstract
Pyraclostrobin (PYR), a fungicide of the strobilurin class, is used to control many different kinds of fungal diseases in greenhouses and on agricultural fields. In the present study, an efficient method was established for simultaneously determining PYR and its metabolite BF 500-3 in cucumber fruits, leaves, and soil matrices using QuEChERS pretreatment coupled with ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS). The residue levels and dissipation kinetics of PYR were determined under greenhouse conditions. The recoveries ranged from 89.8 to 103.6% with relative standard deviations (RSDs) of 3.6-7.5% at three spiking levels. The results demonstrated that PYR dissipated quickly in the cucumber field with half-lives (DT50) of 2.14-4.17 days on different sites and in different matrices. The residue of its metabolite BF 500-3 was very low and showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing. The degradation rate of PYR in soil was the fastest, followed by that on cucumber fruits and leaves. The terminal residue of PYR at an application rate of 150 g a.i. ha-1 (the maximum recommended rate) in cucumber fruits was below the maximum residue limit (MRL) of 0.5 mg/kg established in China. However, the application of the fungicide at 225 g a.i. ha-1 (1.5× the maximum recommended rate) resulted in residues that were above the MRL 1 day after the final application, which is an unacceptable risk. Therefore, the application dosage of PYR at the recommended rates was safe to human beings and animals.

Abstract
The presence of pesticide residues in apples raises serious health concerns. In this study, a novel, sensitive, high-performance method was developed to simultaneously analyze the residues of 14 pesticides in apples using modified QuEChERS sample pretreatment coupled with ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). The optimized purification procedure demonstrated satisfactory recovery and precision for all the tested pesticides. The limits of detection (LOD) and quantification (LOQ) values of 14 pesticides in the apple matrix ranged from 0.03 μg/kg to 0.3 μg/kg and 0.1 μg/kg to 1.0 μg/kg, respectively. The proposed method detected six pesticides in the apple samples collected from 20 counties in China's major apple-producing regions. Furthermore, the risk quotient (RQ, %) of the detected pesticides was evaluated by the national estimated acceptable daily intake. The RQs of six pesticides in Chinese people of different age groups were less than 100%.

Abstract
The fungicides epoxiconazole and pyraclostrobin have been widely used to control wheat fusarium head blight. This study was designed to investigate the dissipation behaviors in different climate regions and provide data for the modification of maximum residue limits of the two fungicides. Wheat samples were collected from field sites in twelve different regions, China and analyzed with an HPLC-MS/MS method for simultaneous detection of epoxiconazole and pyraclostrobin in wheat. The average recoveries of epoxiconazole and pyraclostrobin in wheat matrix were 87-112% and 85-102%, respectively, with the relative standard deviations ≤8.1%. The limits of quantification of epoxiconazole and pyraclostrobin in grain and straw were both 0.01 mg/kg. The dissipations of epoxiconazole and pyraclostrobin followed first-order kinetics, with the half-lives of 10.3 days and 7.6 days, respectively. The terminal residues of epoxiconazole and pyraclostrobin in grain were below 0.034 and 0.028 mg/kg, separately, both lower than the maximum residue limits recommended by China. Based on Chinese dietary pattern and terminal residue distributions, the risk quotients of epoxiconazole and pyraclostrobin were 13.9% and 65.9%, respectively, revealing the evaluated wheat exhibited an acceptably low dietary risk to consumers.

Abstract
As a lipophilic fungicide, pyraclostrobin is highly toxic to aquatic organisms, especially to fish. In recent years, research has mainly focused on the pyraclostrobin residue in fish tissues under chronic toxicity, but less is known about its distribution in fish tissues under acute toxicity conditions. In this study, the distribution of pyraclostrobin in fish tissues (blood, liver, muscle and gill) was determined by ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). The purification effects of different purification materials [1) mixtures of PSA, C18 and MgSO4; 2) QuEChERS-PC; and 3) Oasis HLB SPE] were compared for the detection of pyraclostrobin in fish tissues. Finally, the quick and easy clean-up tool of the Oasis HLB SPE procedure was selected. Under optimum conditions, the linearities had a good relationship (determination coefficient R2 > 0.999). The mean recoveries of the analyte for all tested concentrations ranged from 86.94% to 108.81% with RSDs of 0.7%-4.9%. The pyraclostrobin residue amount was much different in fish tissues. Furthermore, the pyraclostrobin residue in different fish tissues increased initially and then decreased gradually. The concentrations in each tissue were initially ranked before 120 min in the following order: gill > liver > blood > muscle. These phenomena may be attributed to the stress response of fish under acute poisoning. This is the first study to document the distribution of pyraclostrobin in fish tissues under acute toxicity conditions, and it provides reference for the management of agrochemicals in terms of aquatic ecological risks.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Pyraclostrobin and picoxystrobin are two representative pesticides of strobilurins used to treat cucumber downy mildew, which have raised issues of food safety and human health. A new formulation containing these two compounds is being prepared for marketing in China. RESULTS The dissipation and residual levels of pyraclostrobin and picoxystrobin in cucumbers under field conditions were determined simultaneously by a validated method via liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). The dissipation rules were described by first-order kinetics and the half-lives of pyraclostrobin and picoxystrobin were less than 8.2 days and 3.4 days. The highest terminal residue of pyraclostrobin was 0.014 mg kg-1 which was lower than maximum residue limit (MRL) in China (0.5 mg kg-1 ) and of picoxystrobin was 0.029 mg kg-1 , respectively. In the long-term intake risk assessment of pyraclostrobin and picoxystrobin for general population (18-79 years), the chronic risk quotient (RQc ) varied from 5.64% to 21.97%. The assessment of short-term risks included children (1-6 years) and adults (18-79 years) and in which the RQa values were 0.38% and 2.85%. Both results showed the intake risks of cucumber were acceptable. CONCLUSION Pyraclostrobin and picoxystrobin degraded easily in cucumbers under open field conditions. The long-term and short-term risks caused by final residues of pyraclostrobin and picoxystrobin were insignificant. The recommended pre-harvest interval of 3 days was safe. The article will be helpful in rational use of these pesticides and MRL formulation of picoxystrobin on cucumber. © 2020 Society of Chemical Industry.

Abstract
Spinetoram (XDE-175-J/L), a new spinosyn-based insecticide, is one of the most widely used bio-pesticide worldwide and its registration for direct application on cauliflower to control Plutella xylostella is currently under review in China. In this study, an accredited method for simultaneous determination of spinetoram and its two metabolites in cauliflower was established and validated using QuEChERS (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe) preparation coupled with ultra-liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). The average recoveries using this method were ranged from 74 to 99% with relative standard deviations (RSDs) of 2.4-10.5%. The dissipation kinetics and terminal residues of spinetoram and its two metabolites in cauliflower were studied in Tianjin and Guizhou over two years under open field conditions. The dissipation experiments revealed that spinetoram was swiftly degraded in cauliflower, with the half-lives less than or equal to 4.85 days. The terminal residues of total spinetoram (sum of spinetoram and its two metabolites) detected in cauliflower samples were in the range of 0.009 mg/kg-0.337 mg/kg. Dietary risk assessment study was implemented based on the scientific data of field trials, food consumption and acceptable daily intake (ADI). The estimated long-term dietary risk probability (RQ) of total spinetoram from cauliflower was between 5.79% and 5.91%, indicating that spinetoram was associated with acceptable risk for dietary cauliflower consumption. The results would provide scientific guidance for proper usage of spinetoram in cauliflower field ecosystem.
