Abstract
The present case describes multiple hepatic lipomas in a common hill mynah (Gracula religiosa). A 21-year-old female captive common hill mynah died without any notable clinical symptoms. An autopsy and histopathological examinations were conducted to determine the exact cause of death. On gross observation, the liver demonstrated a yellowish white surface color and multiple nodules indicating neoplastic lesions. Histopathological assessment found that the nodules purely comprised mature adipocytes. Furthermore, the liver exhibited an excessive accumulation of iron in hepatocytes and Kupffer cells and the infiltration of chronic inflammatory cells, suggesting iron storage disease (ISD). Based on the results, the present case was diagnosed as multiple hepatic lipomas with ISD. To the authors' best knowledge, multiple hepatic lipomas accompanying ISD lesions have not been reported previously. Hence, the present case is the first case report of hepatic multiple lipomas with ISD in veterinary medicine.

Abstract
Agents of platinum-based chemotherapy, such as cisplatin or carboplatin, are used in the treatment of a wide range of malignancies that affect children, such as brain tumors, osteosarcoma, neuroblastoma, hepatoblastoma, and germ cell tumors (GCTs). The Cyclophosphamide Equivalent Dose (CED) calculator for reproductive risk does not take platinum-based chemotherapy into account, despite the fact that it accounts for the majority of chemotherapy medications that are typically administered for pediatric GCTs. As a result, exposure to platinum-based drugs throughout infancy can have predictable long-term effects such as infertility, as well as other rare encounters such as lipoma formation and lipomatosis. Lipomas are the most prevalent benign soft tissue tumor subtype. They may be either solitary entities or engaged in multiple lipomatosis, which may have a familial origin or be an acquired disorder. Chemotherapy is a possible cause of lipomatosis. Chemotherapy based on cisplatin has been linked to a variety of long-term consequences, including kidney damage, neurotoxicity, and pulmonary toxicity, and may even create secondary cancers. However, lipoma development is known to occur in fewer than 1 in 100 individuals, and only a few examples of multiple cutaneous lipomatosis triggered by this therapy have been documented. Here we present a very rare case of lipomatosis in a pediatric patient with GCT under cisplatin therapy, which might be the third report of this kind affecting children.

Abstract
We describe a case series of benign hepatic fatty tumors in 10 subsistence-harvested bowhead whales. Microscopic features included lipomatous and myelolipomatous masses. Extensive atrophy and/or destruction of hepatic parenchyma was not observed. No other significant disease was present except in an animal with unrelated chronic pleuritis. Based on our longitudinal case series (1980-2016) which identified 1-2 hepatic lipomas and myelolipomas in landed whales annually at Barrow, Alaska (USA), since 2012, hepatic lipomas and myelolipomas are occasionally seen in hunter-harvested bowhead whales. A conservative estimate for the percentage of bowhead whales with hepatic fatty tumors in landed whales in Barrow from 2012 to 2016 was 6% (7/111). The pathogenesis and exact cell origin of these benign fatty tumors in bowhead whales is undetermined. Assessment of further cases is warranted to better define the tissue distribution and pathogenesis of these tumors in bowhead whale liver.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The purpose of this article is to review how fat is detected on imaging and to discuss the differential diagnosis of fat-containing liver lesions. CONCLUSION Fat is a highly useful feature in characterizing liver lesions on imaging. Although a variety of liver lesions can show fat on cross-sectional imaging, the presence of fat usually indicates that the lesion is of hepatocellular origin. Less commonly, nonhepatocellular fatty lesions may be distinguished by ancillary clinical and imaging features.

Abstract
Focal liver lesions are routinely encountered by clinical radiologists and represent a wide spectrum of pathology. Majority of these lesions are likely to be benign in nature, especially in the absence of chronic liver disease or primary cancer. A radiologist must be aware of common and uncommon imaging features of benign lesions across the various imaging modalities. This review discusses pathognomonic imaging features of common benign focal liver lesions seen on ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance, and adds to existing knowledge with the recent updates to have emerged in this area.

Abstract
Liver lipoma is a rare benign mesenchymal tumour without malignant degeneration. Lesions may be asymptomatic, nevertheless they may sometimes cause abdominal pain depending upon the size. Usually liver lipomas are an incidental finding during radiological examinations performed for other reasons, and there is no evidence of familiar genetic cluster or predisposing factors but it seems to have a strong association with impaired lipidic profile. In this report, we describe the case of a 72 year old female with a giant liver lipoma observed during an ultrasound examination. The clinical examination was completed with CT and MRI scans. Features of the lesion such as negative attenuation values on multiphasic CT examination and MRI signal drop-out on T2 spectral presaturation with inversion recovery sequences, with no enhancement after administration of contrast medium, are suggestive for this kind of benign neoplasm. The purpose of this report is provide an anthological case of liver lipoma, helping to define the diagnostic features with imaging techniques.
