Abstract
The current work introduced a convenient single-phase hydrothermal protocol to fabricate MnO2 nanorods (MnO2 NRs). Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) were used to determine the characteristics of MnO2 NR. Then, ionic liquid (IL) and MnO2 NRs were utilized to modify a carbon paste electrode (CPE) surface (MnO2NR-IL/CPE) to voltammetrically sense the sulfanilamide (SAA). An enhanced voltammetric sensitivity was found for the as-developed modified electrode toward SAA when compared with a bare electrode. The optimization experiments were designed to achieve the best analytical behavior of the SAA sensor. Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) in the optimized circumstances portrayed a linear dependence on various SAA levels (between 0.07 and 100.0 μM), possessing a narrow detection limit (0.01 μM). The ability of the modified electrode to be used in sensor applications was verified in the determination of SAA present in the actual urine and water specimens, with impressive recovery outcomes.

Abstract
The metal-organic frameworks MIL-101 and sulfo-MIL-101 were used to modify graphite paste electrodes (GPEs) to obtain sensors for determination of dopamine (DA). Taking advantage of the catalytic activity of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and of the electrical conductivity of graphite, the modified GPEs show enhanced voltammetric responses, and the GPE modified with the sulfo-MOF displays superior sensitivity when operated at a working potential of -0.4 to 0.8 V (vs. Ag/AgCl). The sensor works in the 0.07 to100 μM DA concentration range and has a 43 nM detection limit. It is concluded that the sulfo group provides open sites for efficient electrostatic and hydrogen bonding interactions, which facilitates electron transfer. Graphical abstractSchematic representation of the structure of the sulfo-functionalized MOF (sulfo-MIL-101) and the different voltammetric signals of dopamine at the graphite paste electrodes (GPEs) modified with sulfo-MIL-101 and the parent MOF (MIL-101).

Abstract
A metal-inorganic composite, comprises of silver-molybdenum disulfide nanosheets (Ag@MoS2) was synthesized at low temperature. The Ag@MoS2 composite was drop-casted onto a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) for a highly selective dopamine (DA) detection in the presence of interfering compounds such as uric acid (UA) and ascorbic acid (AA). The physicochemical analysis of the nanosheets was carried out with X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The as-prepared Ag@MoS2-modified GCE displayed excellent electrocatalytic activity toward DA oxidation, with a 0.2 μM detection limit at a signal-to-noise ratio of 3 and an extensive linear detection range from 1 μM to 500 μM (R2 = 0.9983). The fabricated non-enzymatic electrochemical sensor demonstrated superior selectivity and stability for the detection of DA with the removal of AA and UA interfering compounds.

Abstract
The morphology or shape of nanomaterials plays an important role in functional applications, especially in the electrochemical sensing performance of nanocomposites modified electrodes. Herein, the morphology-dependent electrochemical sensing properties of MnO2-reduced graphene oxide/glass carbon electrode (MnO2-RGO/GCE) toward dopamine detection were investigated. Firstly, various morphologies of nanoscale MnO2, including MnO2 nanowires (MnO2 NWs), MnO2 nanorods (MnO2 NRs), and MnO2 nanotubes (MnO2 NTs), were synthesized under different hydrothermal conditions. Then the corresponding MnO2-RGO/GCEs were fabricated via drop-casting and the subsequent electrochemical reduction method. The oxidation peak currents increase with the electrochemical activity area following the order of MnO2 NWs-RGO/GCE, MnO2 NTs-RGO/GCE, and MnO2 NRs-RGO/GCE. The spatial models for MnO2 NWs, MnO2 NTs, and MnO2 NRs are established and accordingly compared by their specific surface area, explaining well the evident difference in electrochemical responses. Therefore, the MnO2 NWs-RGO/GCE is selected for dopamine detection due to its better electrochemical sensing performance. The response peak current is found to be linear with dopamine concentration in the range of 8.0 × 10−8 mol/L–1.0 × 10−6 mol/L and 1.0 × 10−6 mol/L–8.0 × 10−5 mol/L with a lower detection limit of 1 × 10−9 mol/L (S/N = 3). Finally, MnO2 NWs-RGO/GCE is successfully used for the determination of dopamine injection samples, with a recovery of 99.6–103%. These findings are of great significance for understanding the relationship between unlimited nanoparticle structure manipulation and performance improvement.

Abstract
Preparation of Pt-based nanocatalysts with high catalytic activity and exploration of their novel applications have attracted significant interest in the nanoscale field. Herein, we report a facile synthesis of dendritic Pt3Ni nanoalloys and their applications for electrochemical nonenzymatic dopamine biosensors. As a result of their unique structure, the dendritic Pt3Ni nanoalloys show high electrocatalytic activity towards dopamine oxidation. Amperometric dopamine biosensors based on dendritic Pt3Ni nanoalloy microelectrode exhibit a wide linear detection ranges from 0.5 μM to 250 μM with ultrahigh sensitivity, fast response, and excellent selectivity at a potential of 0.3 V in a 0.1 M phosphate buffered solution (pH = 7.2). The limit of detection on dendritic Pt3Ni nanoalloy microelectrodes can decrease down to 10 nM, which is the least concentration of dopamine in serum samples with a value of sensitivity up to 4.6 μA mg-1Pt cm-2. This study shows an effective approach for the development of dendritic Pt3Ni nanoalloys as electrocatalysts for electrochemical nonenzymatic dopamine biosensors.

Abstract
In the present work, we described the facile hydrothermal fabrication of Mn2O3 nanoparticle-assembled hierarchical hollow spheres and their application for the electrochemical determination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The composition and morphology of the as-prepared samples were well characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Because of the electrochemical responses toward H2O2, a novel nonenzymatic electrochemical sensor for the H2O2 determination based on Mn2O3 hollow spheres modified glassy carbon electrode was proposed. The electrochemical properties of the modified electrode were investigated by cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and chronoamperometry. The modified electrode displayed distinct amperometric response to H2O2 in a wide concentration range 0.10-1276.5 μM, with a linear range of 0.10-126.5 μM and a detection limit of 0.07 μM (S/N = 3). It exhibited excellent analytical performance in terms of long-time stability, good reproducibility and acceptable anti-interference ability. In addition, it was applied for the H2O2 determination in real samples directly with acceptable accuracy and recovery, demonstrating its potential application in routine H2O2 analysis.

Abstract
Cu-Ni(OH)2/N-GR/Nafion/GCE has been prepared by electrodeposition and activation with NaOH. The proposed modified GCE was studied by electrochemical methods. It is found that dopamine shows favorable redox cyclic voltammetric response on the proposed modified GCE with peak separation of 25 mV and large current compared with on single-component modified GCE. The kinetic of electrode process has also been investigated with rate constant of 6.618 × 10(-3) cm/s, which can be deduced to be a quasireversible or near-reversible process. The proposed method has been used for DA detection with linear range of 1.0 × 10(-7) mol/L to 4.6 × 10(-5) mol/L, and the detection limit is 3.3 × 10(-8) mol/L. The proposed method has favorable stability and reproducibility and has also been used to determine DA in simulated samples and DA injections with favorable recoveries of 98.4% to 102.6%.
