Abstract
The current study deals with the synthesis of novel Zn, and Fe co-doped TiO2 photocatalyst by the sol-gel method at room temperature. The prepared photocatalysts are characterized by several standard analytical tools. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman analysis verifies the tetragonal anatase phase of TiO2 in all synthesized nanoparticles. The morphology and chemical composition of ZFT_2.5 were confirmed using the Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray (EDAX) analysis respectively. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) measurements verify the binding energies of a host and dopant material. The High resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM) reveals the presence of spherical nanoparticles in ZFT_2.5 photocatalyst with a diameter ranging from 8 to 20 nm. The absorption spectra of the prepared nanoparticles exhibit strong absorption in visible light. The synergistic effect created by Zn and Fe blocked the light induced charge carriers and delayed the recombination probability. The photocatalyst ZFT_2.5 was tested for photocatalytic degradation against the mixture of the three cationic dyes [rhodamine B (RhB), malachite green (MG), and methylene blue (MB)] under exposure of visible light. Total organic carbon (TOC) study was performed to evaluate the organic character of the photodegradate dye solution.

Cube-like anatase TiO 2 mesocrystals as effective electron-transporting materials toward high-performance perovskite solar cells. J Colloid Interface Sci 2023; 635:535-542. Abstract
Electron-transporting materials (ETMs) with higher carrier mobility and a suitable band gap structure play a significant role in determining the photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, cube-like mesoporous single-crystal anatase TiO2 (Meso-TiO2) nanoparticles synthesized by using a facile hydrothermal method were utilized as an efficient ETM for PSCs. The superior semiconducting properties of the Meso-TiO2 based ETM enabled the best power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 20.05% for a PSC. Moreover, the device retained 80% of its initial PCE after being stored in ambient conditions for 20 days under 25 ± 5% relative humidity. In contrast to the commercial TiO2 ETM, the Meso-TiO2 ETM based PSC showed a distinguished interface with better interfacial conditions and improved carrier extraction originating from the cube-like mesoporous single-crystal anatase TiO2 ETM.

Abstract
Titanium dioxide (TiO2 ) is a promising anode material for sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) due to its low cost, natural abundance, nontoxicity, and excellent electrochemical stability. Oxygen vacancies, the most common point defects in TiO2 , can dramatically influence the physical and chemical properties of TiO2 , including band structure, crystal structure and adsorption properties. Recent studies have demonstrated that oxygen-deficient TiO2 can significantly enhance sodium storage performance. Considering the importance of oxygen vacancies in modifying the properties of TiO2 , the structural properties, common synthesis strategies, characterization techniques, as well as the contribution of oxygen-deficient TiO2 on initial Coulombic efficiency, cyclic stability, rate performance for sodium storage are comprehensively described in this review. Finally, some perspectives on the challenge and future opportunities for the development of oxygen-deficient TiO2 are proposed.

Abstract
We report a polyaniline-wrapped, manganese-doped titanium oxide (PANi/Mn-TiO2) nanoparticle composite for supercapacitor electrode and photocatalytic degradation. The PANi/Mn-TiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized using a solvothermal process, followed by oxidative polymerization of aniline. The structural properties of studied materials were confirmed by XRD, FTIR, HRTEM, FESEM, and UV visible spectroscopy. The as-prepared PANi/Mn-TiO2 nanoparticles revealed admirable electrochemical performance with a specific capacitance of 635.87 F g−1 at a current density of 1 A g−1 with a notable life cycle retention of 91% after 5000 charge/discharge cycles. Furthermore, the asymmetric cell with PANi/Mn-TiO2 as a positive electrode exhibited energy density of 18.66 W h kg−1 with excellent stability. Moreover, the PANi/Mn-TiO2 had promising photocatalytic activity for methylene blue degradation. The improved performance of PANi/Mn-TiO2 nanoparticles is attributed to the well-built synergetic effect of components that lead to significant reduction of band gap energy and charge transfer resistance, as revealed by UV visible spectroscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
