Abstract
Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), which impact gene expression following pathogen infections, have garnered significant attention in recent years. Recent discoveries have revealed that lncRNAs play a crucial role in fish immune responses to pathogen infections. We investigated the influence of lncRNA-adm2 on the antibacterial immune response generated by Aeromonas hydrophila in grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) through the adsorption of cid-miR-n3. Furthermore, we found that cid-miR-n3 interacts with lncRNA-adm2 and targets the 3' UTR of adm2. The upregulation of lncRNA-adm2 expression led to the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines (il-1β and il-6) in CIK cells, while anti-inflammatory cytokines (il-10) increased. Our research provides evidence that lncRNAs are involved in the antibacterial immune response of fish, expanding our understanding of the function of lncRNAs in teleosts.

Abstract
In recent years, many studies have shown that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) can regulate many biochemical processes, such as cell growth, proliferation, and immune response, which have attracted great attention. There are relatively many studies on lncRNA in mammals, while the research on lncRNA in lower vertebrates has just begun. In this study, we found a lncRNA, lncRNA LTCONS8875, related to innate immune response in Miichthys miiuy (miiuy croaker). Our results showed that lncRNA LTCONS8875 can up-regulate the expression of IRAK4 at the mRNA and protein levels, and significantly increase the production of inflammatory factors under LPS stimulation. Our research also confirmed that lncRNA LTCONS8875 plays an active role in regulating inflammation, cell proliferation, and cell viability. In summary, this research results showed that lncRNA LTCONS8875 can as an active regulatory role of innate immunity in miiuy croaker by up-regulating the expression of IRAK4, providing some insights for understanding the network mechanism of non-coding regulation of fish immunity.

Abstract
Research over the past two decades has confirmed that noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs), which are abundant in cells from yeast to vertebrates, are no longer "junk" transcripts but functional regulators that can mediate various cellular and physiological processes. The dysregulation of ncRNAs is closely related to the imbalance of cellular homeostasis and the occurrence and development of various diseases. In mammals, ncRNAs, such as long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) and microRNAs (miRNAs), have been shown to serve as biomarkers and intervention targets in growth, development, immunity, and disease progression. The regulatory functions of lncRNAs on gene expression are usually mediated by crosstalk with miRNAs. The most predominant mode of lncRNA-miRNA crosstalk is the lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA axis, in which lncRNAs act as competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs). Compared to mammals, little attention has been given to the role and mechanism of the lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA axis in teleost species. In this review, we provide current knowledge about the teleost lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA axis, focusing on its physiological and pathological regulation in growth and development, reproduction, skeletal muscle, immunity to bacterial and viral infections, and other stress-related immune responses. Herein, we also explored the potential application of the lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA axis in the aquaculture industry. These findings contribute to an enhanced understanding of ncRNA and ncRNA-ncRNA crosstalk in fish biology to improve aquaculture productivity, fish health and quality.
