Abstract
INTRODUCTION Lymphoma tissue biopsies cannot fully capture genetic features due to accessibility and heterogeneity. We aimed to assess the applicability of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) for genomic profiling and disease surveillance in classic Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL), primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma (PMBCL), and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). METHODS Tumor tissue and/or liquid biopsies of 49 cHLs, 32 PMBCLs, and 74 DLBCLs were subject to next-generation sequencing targeting 475 genes. The concordance of genetic aberrations in ctDNA and paired tissues was investigated, followed by elevating ctDNA-based mutational landscapes and the correlation between ctDNA dynamics and radiological response/progression. RESULTS ctDNA exhibited high concordance with tissue samples in cHL (78%), PMBCL (84%), and DLBCL (78%). In cHL, more unique mutations were detected in ctDNA than in tissue biopsies (P < 0.01), with higher variant allele frequencies (P < 0.01). Distinct genomic features in cHL, PMBCL, and DLBCL, including STAT6, SOCS1, BTG2, and PIM1 alterations, could be captured by ctDNA alone. Prevalent PD-L1/PD-L2 amplifications were associated with more concomitant alterations in PMBCL (P < 0.01). Moreover, ctDNA fluctuation could reflect treatment responses and indicate relapse before imaging diagnosis. CONCLUSIONS Lymphoma genomic profiling by ctDNA was concordant with that by tumor tissues. ctDNA might also be applied in lymphoma surveillance.

Abstract
Ethnic and regional differences in the epidemiology and pathological aspects of Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL) between Western and Asian patients may be associated with differences in clinical features and prognosis. We retrospectively analyzed the clinical and histopathological characteristics, therapeutic outcomes, and prognostic factors of 539 HL patients treated at 16 centers in Korea. We found that the incidence of histological subtypes of HL in Korea was similar to that in Western and other Asian countries. However, the incidence peaked between 16 and 30 years of age, unlike the bimodal age distribution seen in Western countries. In patients with stage I-IIA non-bulky disease, the complete response (CR) rate was similar between combined modality therapy and chemotherapy alone (93% vs. 84%, P = 0.44), and there was no difference in relapse-free survival (RFS) and overall survival (OS). Patients with stage I-II disease plus unfavorable factors and those with advanced-stage disease treated with combination chemotherapy regimens had an overall CR rate of 77%, with no difference between doxorubicin, bleomycin, vinblastine, and dacarbazine (ABVD) and non-ABVD regimens (77.2% vs. 76.8%, P = 0.95). Among those patients who achieved final CR, there was no significant difference in RFS or OS between those who achieved interim CR and PR. Only the presence of B symptoms was independently predictive of a shorter RFS. Age > 45 years, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group 2-4, and B symptoms were independent risk factors for death. Although the incidence of HL was lower in Korea than in Western countries, the distribution of morphological subtypes, treatment outcomes, and patient prognosis were similar.

Abstract
Primary extranodal, extralymphatic Hodgkin lymphomas (PEEHLs) are a rare occurrence. When they are encountered, they become diagnostic challenges. We are describing the uniqueness of a case of PEEHL affecting the mandible with his early response to the available chemotherapy.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To evaluate the implication of Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL) in Otorhinolaryngology. PATIENTS AND METHODS A longitudinal retrospective study on patients with HL diagnosed, treated and followed-up in our Centre from 1996 to 2010. RESULTS From 413 individuals having lymphoma, 120 were labelled as HL (29%). Patients were males in 76% and greater incidence was observed in ages between 15 and 30 years old, as well as between 45 and 60. Samples for biopsy from adenopathies were obtained in 84 cases (61 from the neck), and in 15 its origin was extranodal. The most usual finding at physical exploration was the presence of cervical (86%) and axillary nodes (68%), followed by B symptoms (37%). Waldeyer's ring was affected in 4%. The most frequent histopathological variety was classic HL with nodular sclerosis (50%) and mixed cellularity (28%). Patients were usually diagnosed at stages I (28%) and II (47%). Recurrence of disease in the neck after conventional oncologic therapies was detected in 17 patients, in 7 of which the pathologic study had varied. Mortality was 8%. The main unfavourable prognostic factors for neoplasm recurrence were lymphocyte depletion variety, lymphadenopathy larger than 10 cm and B symptoms. CONCLUSIONS Clinical HL findings are strongly associated with the head and neck area, making its suspicion obligatory in differential diagnosis on cervical nodes.

Abstract
Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) demonstrates heterogenous histologic findings, clinical presentation, and outcomes. Using the United States Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) data we examined relationships between patient characteristics, clinical features at diagnosis, and survival in HL patients. From 2000 to 2007, 16,710 cases were recorded in 17 SEER registries. Blacks and Asians had low incidence (black/white incidence rate ratio (IRR) 0.86, P < .01; Asian/white IRR 0.43, P < .01). The bimodal pattern of incidence was less prominent for black males. Asians and Blacks presented at a mean age of 38 years compared to 42 years for Whites (P < .001). Race was a predictor for survival with HR of 1.19 (95% CI 1.11-1.28) for Blacks. Age was the most important predictor of survival (HR for patients ≥45 years 5.08, 95% CI 4.86-5.31). These current patterns for presentation and outcomes of HL help to delineate key populations in order to explore risk factors for HL and strategies to improve treatment outcomes.

Abstract
Epidemiological studies suggest unique occurrence patterns of Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) worldwide. In most Western countries there is a clear bimodal age distribution with an early peak in young adults followed by a second peak in older adults, particularly among males. In the Middle East and Asia, HL is more common in early childhood. There also are marked racial differences in the presentations of HL and HL subtypes, and particular single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) have been identified as etiological factors suggesting that gene-gene and gene-environment interactions are involved. Personal health choices such as exercise and smoking may modify an individual's chances of developing HL. Numerous studies highlight the impact that exposure to Epstein-Barr virus and other environmental factors have on HL risk. Understanding the relative importance of each of these findings and their links to HL development and survival will help clinical researchers expand curative therapies and create preventative strategies for HL.

Abstract
Hodgkin's lymphoma is a hematolymphoid neoplasm, primarily of B cell lineage, that has unique histologic, immunophenotypic, and clinical features. Neurologic complications of Hodgkin's Lymphoma can be separated into those that result directly from the disease, indirectly from the disease, or from its treatment. Direct neurologic dysfunction from Hodgkin's Lymphoma results from metastatic intracranial spinal disease, epidural metastases causing spinal cord/cauda equina compression, leptomeningeal metastases, or intradural intramedullary spinal cord metastases. Indirect neurologic dysfunction may be caused by paraneoplastic disorders (such as paraneoplastic cerebellar degeneration or limbic encephalitis) and primary angiitis of the central nervous system. Hodgkin's lymphoma treatment typically includes chemotherapy or radiotherapy with potential treatment-related complications affecting the nervous system. Neurologic complications resulting from mantle-field radiotherapy include the “dropped head syndrome,” acute brachial plexopathy, and transient ischemic attacks/cerebral infarcts. Chemotherapy for Hodgkin's lymphoma may cause cerebral infarction (due to emboli from anthracycline-induced cardiomyopathy) and peripheral neuropathy.
